A Bed Time Story

[Ellie]

Light sighed. "My mother and father are so greedy. They think of n one but themselves, half of the planet is practicaly homeless!", he said aggrivated. Kana frowned.

"Kyleannes got a good point. We need to be careful.", Kana started. "Like I was saying leaving is only going to make this situation worse for us."

"We dont have a choice.", Light argued.

Kana looked a bit offended. "I--I know...", she muttered.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne sighed. "I didn't mean it like that."she said.

[Ellie]

"Kyleanne you probably know this city better than anyone. Do you have any suggestions on where to go?", Light asked.

[Miss Gates]

((I know I'm sorry. Writers block, hate it))

Kyleanne bit her lip. "I do my know my way around the town,"she said. "But I have never broken into or out of the castle."

Kyleanne thought hard about the town. "I will need a map,"she said. "I know my way, but I don't know the names of them all or all the escape routes."

[Ellie]

"A map of the castle?", Light snorted. "There isnt a single one in existance."

"Thats stupid!", Kana interrupted.

"No its not. Its a big help to us. No one can sneak into the castle, and it favores us in case of an invasion."

"An invasion from what? Shapeshifters.", Kana laughed.

"Possibly.", Light said in all seriousness. Kana looked a little taken aback.

"Their real??", she said bewildered.

"Of course their real.", Light said bluntly. "Back to whats important." They were interrupted. From the main door t Lights room there was a small knock.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne looked at Light and Kana disbelief.

"Not a single map?"she asked and then shook her head. "Thats sad. Alright, plan B?"

[Ellie]

Light jumped at the knock. "BOTH OF YOU! Into the secret passage NOW!", he said pushing them against the wall. The mall turned purple then and Light puched them in.

"Dear?", came the queens voice. "I need to speak to you.", she said in a rather plesant tone.

Kana became quite tense at once. She could barely breathe. 'Shes going to catch us...shes going to catch us!, she thought panic ridden.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne rushed in the secret passage with Kana. She was shaking.

"Oh no, oh no, oh no." she thought frantically.

[Ellie]

"Kyleanne..calm down as long as we dont make any noise they'll never know we're here.", she said very very softly. Her voice was reassuring, but her thoughts were otherwise.

"Yes Mother...", he said sounding really annoyed.

"Dont take that tone with me, dear.", the Queen said still sounding rather plesant.

"Sorry...", he muttered.

"We seem to have a problem.", The Queen continued.

"What kind of problem?", Lights voice sounded very suprised. Itwas very convincing.

The Queen continued as if he hadnt said a word. "THOSE BRATS IN THE DUNGON HAVE ESCAPED!!!", her tone became harsh and her voice jumped to a yell. Kana could feel her rage from inside the passage. "WHERE ARE THEY!?"

"How should I know?", Light said without changing his voice any. He sounded casual. As if he didnt care. "Ive been in here all morning. You had guards posted at my door, remember?"

The Queen huffed. "I know you know where they are! You had something to do with this!! And I will find out!" The Queen approached him. Something like a vase smashed to the floor and Light howled in pain. "YOU WILL NOT LEAVE THIS ROOM UNTILL I FIND THEM!", she hissed. The room went quiet, and the main door to Lights room slammed shut.

Kyleanne jumped. She had heard a loud and angry voice like that, but not in years. She held onto Kana. She was very scared.

[Ellie]

((Yeah. Its good.))

Light grabbed them through the wall and pulled them out. "We've got to get out of here NOW!", he said his face looked paniced. "Shes going to seal the castle. And there will be now way to escape.", he paused. Both of them looked scared to death. "Take whatever you want from my room. We can stop anywhere you want before we leave. Just please hurry. We eed to get out of the castle."

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne looked at Light baffled. "Go?! Go where?! I have NO ONE!"

[Ellie]

Kana looked at Light scared to death. "Light I cant just leave my family! I cant just pick up and go! Kyleanne cant either!", her voice was angry and paniced. Light was shuffling through drawrs and various other things trying to ignore her. She grabbed his shoulder and spun him. "LOOK AT ME!"

Lights eyes fixed on her, and then on Kyleanne. "I--I...Do you trust me?", he asked.

Kanas mouth opened but no words came out. "NO!", she screamed. She had known all a long he was serious about leaving, but shed never thought they actually would. She came from a very wealthy high class family. She didnt act like it, and preferred not to. She couldnt just leave it all behind. She turned fast, her dress caught on a wood shelf and ripped. She ran back through the secret passage.

((I dont know I felt like be dramatic...Anyhoo. Ill be locking this tomorrow. Cause im leaving. So dont go anywhere without me.))

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne was fuming with anger. "How can you expect us to leave?!"

She ran after Kana. "Kana?! Kana wait!"
