A Bed Time Story

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne hated it when people judged her "home". It was so uncival. And he's the prince!! He should have some manners!!! Yeesh, this man was annoyning her.

Kyleanne frowned at Light. "Yes, I live here. Get inside and be quiet! I'm the one saving your neck!"

She looked at Kana. "Thanks Kana."

[Ellie]

Kana nodded. "Alright.", she said.

Once inside Light tripped over several things. "Its so small...", he muttered.

Kana turned around to face him. "Stop saying things like that! If you keep it up Im going to throw you to the people trying o get us!", she whispered harshly.

"Sorry...", he muttered again. 'Sheeh...I just cant win with her...but she just so...so--', he stopped thinking about it. This was no time to be thinking love.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne shook her head and held in her tears. She couldn't afford anything else...This was all she had.

"No Kana,"Kyleanne said. "That would be my pleasure to do."

[Ellie]

Kana turned around and looked at Kyleanne to. "Stop! You to! Stop saying things like this! I dont care if you dont like eachother! Your both...so frustrating!", she said. Kana began to slightly shake.

Light looked down. there was a long scilence. "Alright...Ill stop.", he whispered.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne rolled her eyes at Kana and then looked at her with a sympathtic look.

"Alright,"she whispered. "I'm sorry. I'll stop."

Then she looked at Light. "I'm sorry too."

Kyleanne looked at the ground. She had actually meant that she was sorry too. From behind, Kyleanne heard some running footsteps and she gasped and looked up at Light.

"I thought you said you lost them!"she yelled in a whisper.

((This is where she gets arrested for stealing and such if thats okay))

[Ellie]

((alright))

Kana whirled around. "How did they find us!?"

Light shook his head. "Mother...", he murrmered.

"EVERYONE OUT OF THE.....Tent?", came a guards voice.

"yeah I think thats what it is", came another

"ok...", came the fist guards voice.

"EVERYONE OUTOF THE TENT! SURRENDER THE PRINCE! OR WE WILL OPEN FIRE!", the gurads yelled.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne glared at Light. She was so angry with him.

"How could you?!"she yelled.

Then she walked out of the tent with crossed arms.

"That is exactly what it is! Do YOU have a problem with it?!"Kyleanne yelled.

[Ellie]

One of the guards shouted, "HEY THATS THE BREAD THIEF FROM TOWN!"

"ARREST HER!", another guard shouted. Several guards jumped at her and cuffedher in chains. Kana ran from the tent.

"STOP IT! LET HER GO!", she yelled. However she ended up in chains to. She also had a nice bruiseon her cheek.

Light bent down into the tent. 'I could leave now...theyd never catch me...', he thought. But Kana and Kyleanne flashed through his head he couldnt leave them hejust couldnt. He stepped out of the tent.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne didn't go in hand cuffs without a fight. She kicked and screamed until she was finally cuffed. Kyleanne didn't even look up at Light when he came out of the tent. She didn't.

"You know there's a reason I have to steal you stupid guards,"Kyleanne said. "Its called living. And Kana didn't do anything. Let her go!"

Kyleanne grunted as she tried to get away, but the guard had a strong grip on her. She kept her head down and glared at the ground.

[Ellie]

Kana remained scilent. She kept her head down.

"Your both being arrested for kidnapping Prince Light!", the guards snapped.

Light looked at Kyleanne and Kana. What had he done. He felt dread comming down upon him. He felt dizzy. This wasnt happening. Then something thick hit his head. He fel to the ground. He was in Kanas sight. He looked up at her. 'Is she...crying?', he thought before he blacked out. Her tears fell upon his face.

Light woke in his room. It was morning. Probably the next day. He looked around. "Where am I...", he said to himself.

"Home.", came his mothers voice. She glared at him across the room. Light glared right back. "DO NO EVER try to run again. YOU THROUGHLY EMBARASSED ME! YOU UNGREATFUL LITTLE BRAT! I CANNOT BELIEVE I GAVE BIRTH TO YOU! RUN AGAIN AND--"

"AND WHAT!?", Light retorted. The queen walked across the room. She looked him in the eyes and turned to the door.

"Your little friends...are being putto death as punishment.", she said slamming the door.

Light sat horror struck. 'NO!', he thought. He got out of bed and pulled cloths on as fast as he could.

[Miss Gates]

((Oh wow, didn't expect that, but WOW. O.O))

Kyleanne woke up in the dungeon(?)extremely stiff. She sniffled and looked around her. It was darker than the tunnels, but the dim torches gave it some light. Kyleanne started to cry.

"I'm going to die,"she thought. "And it's all his fault."

[Ellie]

((See how I sneak stuff in there! Im sly! LIKE A FOX! And yes to the dungeon))

Kana crawled next to Kyleanne. "Kyleann. Shhh. Dont cry its ok.", she said. The warm sun hit Kanas face from the barred windows. Her skin glowed and her hair sparkled. She put a hand on Kyleannes shoulder.

***LIGHT***

Light ran down the stairs. 'I HAVE TO FIND THE!!! WHERE ARE THEY!? THE DUNGEONS!', he though. He ran faster then hed ever ran before. 'i have to get to the NOW!'

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne looked at Kana. "Kana? You're here too? I knew I shouldn't have trusted him."

Tears streamed down from her cheeks. Kyleanne hugged her knees and sobbed quietly.

"The litlte brat."Kyleanne thought.

[Ellie]

Kana sighed. Some of her clothswere ripped from resisting the guards. She shived a bit. All they were sitting on was straw. She ddnt say anything.


Light ran as fast as he could through the halls, and down several flights of stair. He tripped SEVERAL times. When he reached the dungon door he stopped. He took a big breat and ran inside. "KANA!? KYLEANNE?!", he yelled through the long hallway. He ran down the cells untill he found them. The sun just peeked through the window at them. He sighed in relief. "Oh thank Avion.", he muttered. He looked at bothof them not knowing what to say. Kana wouldnt even look at him.

[Miss Gates]

((uh, Ellie, you're right you did, they're in the dungeon now. Kyleanne was just talking to Kana))

"Look what you did!"Kyleanne yelled at Light.

Kylenanne was furious. She was going to die. Kana could be let off the hook for just a misunderstanding, but Kyleanne was a different story. She was a criminal. Kyleanne glared at Light and then looked back down at the ground.
