A Bed Time Story

[Ellie]

Light fell over. "OW! WHAT THE HECK!!", he said in pain. Light got up and went to swing at Kyleanne.

"NO STOP!", Kana yelled. She grabbed his arm and pulled with all of her might to stop him. He stopped. "Stop it both of you! I dont care who either of you are! Stop fighting! Its not right!", she yelled to both of them. She turned on Light first. "What is your problem? First you tell me not to bow! Then you threaten her life because she wouldnt!? MAKE UP YOUR MIND! You have no reason to call her such names! Its rude! And very unkind!", then she turned to Kyleanne. "I know you hate the Royal Family! Ive got a pretty good idea why to! But youve only just met him! Hes down here in the sewers just like you are right now! The two of you are no different! Sure he was wrong for calling you that! But you are two!" Then she looked at both of them and slightly blushed. "Sorry...", she muttered.

Light folded his arms. "No..your not the one who should be saying sorry.", he paused and looked at both of the girls. "Im--Im sorry..."

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne didn't like emotional people, or emotional things. That was one thing she couldn't handle. She uncrossed her arms and held back her tears.

"What do you CARE?!"Kyleanne squeaked at Light and ran towards the grate.

She put her fingers in the hole of the large grate and moved it aside. Kyleanne lifted it with all her might as she held her eyes shut tight to keep herself from crying. She wiped her eyes and tried again.

[Ellie]

Light was confused now. "Ok seriously! Whats going on!? Why are you upset I just apologised!!", Light looking up at her. Kana stood quiet.

[Miss Gates]

"It's none of your business!!!"Kyleanne sniffed.

"There's nothing YOU can do, so why don't you just leave me alone and let me go home?"Kyleanne asked.

[Ellie]

"SO GO HOME! THERES NOTHING STOPPING YOU! YOU.....YOU STUPID BRAT!", Light huffed and turned his back. He wasnt really one to get mad like this, but something was just irritating about this girl.

[Miss Gates]

"I'm trying!!!!"Kyleanne finally shouted as she got the grate moved. She climbed down the ladder a little and moved the crate back over.

Kyleanne quickly climbed down the ladder with tears streaming down her face.

"Stupid prince....stupid family."she muttered and then ran.

She ran down the tunnels until she got to her little fort. She pulled out a match and lit the oil lamp and got out paper and a pencil. Furiously she wrote,

I'm Sorry

She folded the peice of paper up and on the front, she wrote Light. Little did she realize that her tears stained the ink on his name and it ran. Then, she shoved the paper under the shoes that didn't fit her anymore and started to eat a loaf of bread that she stole from the town bakery.

[Ellie]

He turned around to face Kana. "What was her problem?!", he asked with an angry tone.

"I dont know. But Prince. May I ask what YOU of all people doing here in the first place?", she asked. Light looks suprised by the question. Hed forgotten about that. Just as he was aboutto answer he heard a dog back. Light shown from around the corner.

"Come with me!", he said quickly. He grabbed Kana by the hand.

"What? Hey wiat!", Kana tried to argue. But she couldnt. In the blink of an eye Light had jumped into the sewer water and took off with her at a quick pace down the sewers. he headed in the direction Kyleanne had gone.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne continued to eat her loaf of bread when she heard running. She wiped her eyes and sniffed. Then, she blew out the lamp and said a little prayer, hoping that she woudn't get caugt and that God would watch her. The, she pulled out her pillow and layed down and fell asleep.

[Ellie]

"UGHHHHH!!!!", Light grunted. How did they find him this quickly?! Kana pulled her hand away from Lights.

"THIS WAY!", Kana yelled grabbing his hand this time. She took off down a side tunnel and slightly stumbeled over what appeared to bethe corner of a hanging sheet. She looked around. "What the...?"

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne heard commotion outside her fort and quickly scrambled to the wall and held her knees. She kept quiet and held her breath as much as could.

"Go away go away go away."she thought repeatedly.

[Ellie]

"Are you okay?", Light asked in a whisper.

"Owww...", Kana sighed. "Yeah Ill be fine. But shouldnt we keep moving?", she asked.

"I...I really dont know. I dont think theysaw us. But theyll have the whole sewer system searched before long.", Light responded in a whisper.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne took a deep breath and then tried to see out of the crack of the sheets that weren't sewed shut together. She saw Kana and King Light. She crawled out of the sheets.

"Oi! What are you doing here?!"she asked in a loud whisper with her hands on her hips.

[Ellie]

(hes only a prince in this Rp theyonly just met. I hope they arent married yet =P)

Light turned around starteled by the sudden voice.

"Kyleanne!", Kana said happily, but softly. "We're hiding. Im not sure why though. Some people are after the prince."

"Their not exactly...after me...", Light muttered.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne sighed.

"I would liked to be called by Kyle if you don't mind and,"she said. "Have they spotted you yet? Do they know you're down this tunnel?"

Kyleanne didn't want to give up her home. She also didn't want to get arrested. She was wanted for stealing in five towns. But she wasn't going to tell them that. Plus, if the prince stayed with her, she would probably be charged for kidnapping the prince! Then she would really be in trouble!

Kyleanne gulped as she thought this and looked at the two. "Well?"she whispered.

[Ellie]

Kana looked around. "No. I'm pretty sure we were too fast. They didnt see us.", she explained. She looked at Light with great uncertianty. She ddnt like that last remark hed made about they people who were chasing him. But shed ask questions later.

"Do you live....HERE?", Light asked sounding a bit rude. Kana stepped on his foot. Light grunted in a bit of pain. "Ow!! Whatd you---"

"Ignore him Kyle.", Kana muttered to her.
