A Bed Time Story

[Ellie]

((Well what happened? Why did it get deleted and WHO did it? *is baffled* No seriously. I KNOW I responded to this. Like before I did today.))

Light didnt say anything for a long time. He just stood there in scilence looking at the ground. "Ah..I...it..not..i didnt...", he couldnt think of what to say. He paused again. "Kyleanne...I let my own selfish wants get in the way of what really mattered down there. Its my fault your like this, but you have to understand I didnt mean to. I wanted to get out of this place so bad. But instead all I did was drag you two who had nothing to do with any of this into a huge mess.", he paused for a moment. "I wont let them do this to you. Either of you.", he said weekly. His face was twisted in saddness. "Im going to get you out of here!", he said in a very determined voice.

[Miss Gates]

((*BIG SIGH* I didn't DELETE anything, just re-read what you posted before, it makes sense to me))

Kyleanne looked at Light. "You can't get me out of here,"she said sadly. "You really can't. You can't set a criminal free."

Kyleanne looked at the ground. "So this is it,"she thought. "This is the reason why parents are gone. Because my parents were criminals too."

[Ellie]

((I didnt say u did. But i KNOW i posted something in response to what u said. Its weird...))

Light lookd at Kyleanne. "Oh would you shut up. Quit acting so...so independant.", he said plain and flat out. "I know about yourcriminal record. Its on file. I like to read them from time to time. Its only bread. Kyleanne, I wont let them put you to death."

He looked at Kana. She still remained scilent. The light hit her skin just right. She looked radiant. She was the most beautiful girl hed ever seen. Kana looked up at him. She kneeled from where she was sitting and reached through the bars and touchedhis face. (kinda like your display pic) "I trust you.", she said simply. She stared at him for a moment.

[Miss Gates]

((Okay, sorry. I didn't mean to get a hot head))

Kyleanne crossed her arms and pouted. "Hmpf."she said in a cute ten year old voice.

Then she looked at Light and Kana. Kyleanne realized something and let out a small chuckle.

"Love...."she thought. "If only dreams could be wishes."

[Ellie]

((Its fine..I was being poopy to. Im justnot having the greatest day))

Kana got up. She grabbed Kyleannes wrist. "And dont you think we're leaving you behind!", she said with a smile. She pulled Kyleanne up (gently) and pulled her to the back corner. Kana pointed to Light before Kyleanne could argue.

Light was holding up a table (kinda like in pirates of the Carribean) He pushed the table up against the cell door, and popped it open. He smiled, and heled out his hands for each of them to grab onto. (theres a gatin the way he doesnt want them to trip.

[Miss Gates]

((aww sorry Ellie, have you gotten the chance to vent about it yet?))

Kyleanne smiled lighty and took Light's hand. She looked at him and crossed her arms.

"I still don't like you."she said with a smile.

Then Kyleanne looked at Kana and gave her a wink.

[Ellie]

Light shook his head with a smile. He pulled both grils out of the cell. "No one ever said you did."

Kana laughed. "But Prince Light where do we go now?"

"Dont call me Prince.", he laughed. "Please." He got quiet for a moment. "I know this is a bit crude, but all of us are going to my room untill we can get you somwhere safe."

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne looked at Kana with excitement. "Oooo,"she said. "We're going to be escape convicts! Just what I always wanted! Yuss!"

Kyleanne laughed and looked at the two. "Just kidding guys."

[Ellie]

Light shook his head. Kana giggled a bit. "We're going to have to take the tunnles up there otherwise i KNOW we'll be seen.", she said. He lead them to a solid wall.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne smiled and started to follow Light and Kana. "Yeesh, yet another tunnel."

[Ellie]

"Light..this is a wall..", Kana muttered. Light tapped the wall. Itglowed purple for a moment and went back to normal. Light casually walked right through it.

Kana stood next to Kyleanne in disbeliefe.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne turned her attention to Kana with her eyes wide open.

"Wow,"Kyleanne said. "Thats amazing."

[Ellie]

Kana shook her head. "Come on.", she said quietly. "Before we're caught."

They walked through the unlit musty tunnel for at lease 15 minutes. They went up several flights of stair.

"Sorry...", Light muttered as they all walked through spider webs. "Mother doesnt exactly make it a chore to clean in here...", he said a little scarcastically. They finally made it to another wall. Like before Light tapped it and it glowed and then stopped. He walked theough it casually. Kana followed.

[Miss Gates]

Kyleanne followed Kana and Light through the walls. Kyleanne was still in disblief at Light. Kyleanne was only a human.

"Oh my gosh,"Kyleanne thought. "I thought the prince was just stuck up and rich. He really does have issues. And not to mention power. Wow...he's amazing. He'll make a great king some day."

Kyleanne frowned at that thought. Kana and Light were her only friends. Would they remember her? Kyleanne shook her head and toughened up. She continued to follow Light and Kana.

[Ellie]

They entered an extreamly grand bedroom. The walls were pure white, and had gold lining to them. The curtians were a brilliant purple (its the color of Avion) And the wood work was dark trimmed with more gold. And the bed. The bed was massive. A huge four poster bed set the room off. It was magnificent.

Light looked around. "Im sorry...its so..clean.", he muttered. "Mother wont let ANYTHING go untouched for a moment."

Kana looked around the room. "Its beautiful Light.", she said. "And yet somehow it just doesnt feel very...homey. You dont like it here do you?"

Light didnt say anything back. He just stood there. "Ill work on getting you two cloths. For now go through that archway theres a sitting room in there. Pull back the curtians, and you wont be disturbed. Just dont make and loud sounds." Then he left the room.
