Reunion

[Ellie]

Ellie looked at with teeth bared. Her long hair trailed behind her. She looked as if she was going to jump on him. But instead she threw herself against the wall and smashed some of the paintings. She fell over clutching her head. "Its so empty...it hurts.", she whispered. Sky got out from behind the mess.

"Sephirtoh shes already knocked Nina out!", Sky yelled. "Ellie...", she muttered under her breath. Kyo ran up the stiars. He watched Ellie get up off the ground. Her eyes went blank but they narrowed. She looked like a crazy person.

"Ellie! Calm down! We're your friends!" Sephiroth shoated, trying to get through to her. "Alex is working on a way to fuse you can Pheonix back together!"

Kalad came down with the book, titled 'Sealing and Fusing VII'. "I'm sure this volume contains the solutions we seek." He flicked a few pages, blowing the dust off of the book before he opened it. He suddenly stopped, pointing to the spell. "Here it is. Though, I must warn you, if you cast this magic you'll be in a temporary coma for two days. Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Positive. Ellie's falling apart without Pheonix." He paused breifly, and then said "Thanks for helping us, Kalad. You've always helped me when I needed it most." Kalad smiled at this. "It's nothing. Now, I'll need to cast the magic, you stay here while I do so." Alex's body now was awakened, having red eyes and a fang hanging out of his mouth.

[Ellie]

"Pheonix?", she whispered and then howeled in pain.

"ELLIE!!!", Kyo shouted and ran to her. "Ellie...calm down please. Pheonix is in your room. Shes alright.", he said quickly. Ellie looked at him and dug her nails in his arm. Kyo wasnt fazed. It was his armored arm. Ellie pushed him away and got up. She looked around dazed.

Kalad was now in crontroll of Alex's body. "Ellie, I can make you and Pheonix one again. But only if you're calm." He looked at the frenzied girl with a settled expression. Sephiroth, Cid, and Cloud all looked at the two, for this would determine whether they were to get invovled or not.

[Ellie]

Kyo grabbed Ellies foot. "Ellie please they can help!!", he begged. Ellie looked at him with narrowing eyes. She kicked him. Kyo flew back. Ellie looked around.

"Get away from me, you pathetic excuse of a demon.", she said. She lifter her hand something black and electric like was forming. It sprung from her hand, and hit Alex. On Ellies forhead and black mark appeared. It was in the shape of fire. Ellies ears became pointed.

"That's it... Nobody does that in front of me!" Cid took out his sword, and hit her in her face with it's hilt.

Kalad was down for a moment, but regained his stance. Altough his stomach was bleeding, he felt no pain. "Ellie, please listen to me. You have no reason to to be hurting anyone." He looked at his wound, and morphed into Alex's demon state. "Besides, you should know better than to go at me with electrical attacks, knowing that it's my element."

[Ellie]

Ellie....hissed...? Her head was in an award position from being hit. But she got up none the less. She tilted her head back to normal. She looked up...and sprouted wings? She crashed through the ceiling and flew. untill she was out of sight.

Nina got up from being slammed into the wall. Her mouth grew small, and her eyes narrow. "Did...she just sprout wings...and...fly...away....?"

"I think so.....", Kyo said with the same face.

"What the...hell?", Sky added in. The three of them were doumbfounded. "Oh for the love of the dead planet Avion. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?"

...Pretty muc everyone in the room got the '' expression on their face. "What the...?" Cloud was looking where Ellie flew off.

"Am... I dreaming? Or am I just drunk again?"Cid said, pinching himself. NOBODY knew how to act.

[Ellie]

( Oops I forgot about Centara....)

CenTara came from Ellies room. Shed been tending to Pheonix. And didnt want to really come out with all the noise. She was holding the baby Dragon. Pheonix spoke, as if she was still a full grown Dragon. It was weird to have such an elegant voice come form such a small thing. "Whats happened to my Ellie?", she spoke to the whole room.

Kalad reached behind his neck, to scratch it. "We barely know ourselves. Ellie just sprouted wings and flew off. I haven't a clue as to why, though..." He wasn't as amazed at this as everyone else was, though we was fairly phased.

[Ellie]

Pheonix bared her fangs. "I have a feeling those pathetic excuses of scientists removed me and put something else in.", the small but elegant Dragon growled. Nina got up.

"I dont think Ellie realizes it either.", she said angerily.

Sephiroth exmanined Kalad briefly, then compared him to what they just saw with Ellie. A black fire mark appeared on her forehead. He couldn't see Kalad's forehead, for Alex's goggles were covering it. "Kalad, you mind romoving the googles? I need to check something."

The demon nodded, and removed the headgear. He revealed a black thunderbolt upon his forehead.

Sephiroth nodded. "It might be some sort of demon. Before she left, I noticed that Ellie gained a mark similar mark on her head. It also sprouted wings."

[Ellie]

"What that black fire thing?", Kyo asked. Pheonix nodded. The Dragon looked around.

"I thought I would be happy the day I was removed from her. Finally free. But something...Im not. I do not like tis empty feeling.", the small Dragon confessed.

"Centara go put her back. She need rest.", Nina said. CenTara took Pheonix back to the incubater.

"AIf its a demon can we remove it? And Seal Pheonic back in?", Kyo asked Kalad.

Kalad put the googles in their original place upon Alex's head. "Well, the Sealing Technique alone would have required Alex to be put into a coma for two days; seeing how much energy the spell requires. A removal will cost even more, increasing the duration to up to four days." The group gave tention-filled stares.

[Ellie]

They were in the kitchen now. The lights were off and it was dark. Nina had her head resting on her two fists. It was quiet. And it had been since Kalad had said that. Nini broke the scilence, "No. I absolutly REFUSE to put Alex in any sort of state.", she looked at Cid when she said this. "I <i>refuse</i> it."

Kyo slammed his fist on the marbel counter. "HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!? ITS ELLIE!!! SHES YOUR NEICE!!!!", Kyo argued.

"AND THIS IS ALEX!! I WILL NOT HARM ONE LIFE OF A LOVED ONE FOR ANOTHER!!! I WILL NOT DO IT!!! I REFUSE IT!! I ABSOLUTLY REFUSE IT!!!!!", Nina countered back. Her voice was sharp, and cold. Kyo shook his head. Sky was sitting on the counter top across form Kyo.

"This is my fault. If I was a stronger mage...if I knew sealing magic I could help...", she muttered. Nina walked over to her.

"Dont you even start. This is no ones fault. And not knowing any sealing magic is most deffinately not your fault.", she said coldly. "I dont want anymore of that talk from you.", she said harshly. Sky bit her lip and her eyes welled up with tears.
