Reunion

Cloud grunted. "Monsters. Not even ShinRa was as low as you are..." Vivi was still quaking at his side, hiding underneath his hat.

Inside of him, Alex could feel...fear. Not only for himself, but for Kalad as well. He dropped to his knees. "Those Elders... How come after four years... they STILL creep my very soul..."

(In the hallways)

Cid was fumbling after the group's equipment, still manging to make progress at an alarming speed. "Crap, why am I the busboy around here...?"

[Ellie]

CenTara finished hooking up up the machiene for Pheonix. She could hardly believe this tiny feebel blood covered lizard was Pheonix. It didnt even have horns. "Kyo, Sky, Take Ellie back to the house and lock the door in her room.", Nina said. They both look confused but Sky teleported them reguardless. "CenTara. move Pheonix to a secured room and stay there.", Nina ordered. As Centara left she look at Sephiroth and Alex. "Alex...go help with Ellie.", she said. She didnt want any of the children around.

Alex picked himself off the floor and nodded. He ran off to catch up with the others with the now waking Ellie. He crossed his father on the way, and spared him a passing glance.

Cid had finnally arrived, dropping all of the weapons on the floor as he entered. "I take I missed a lot, eh?" Cloud sighed at this.

"Yes, but it's 'better late than never' as they say." Sephiroth picked up the Masamune and put the cased sword on the inside of his belt.

[Ellie]

Nina stood there with a pout face, and her arms crossed. She was happy to see Cid, and would normally give him a pounceing hug too but she was to worried. "With the two seperated. Ellie and Pheonix will both die.", Nina said gravely. (Heyy is Cloud here too i cant remeber and Im being too lazy to go look)

Sephiroth grunted. "Like I've said earlier, I don't know any sealing magic. Cid doesn't know much magic either, and Cloud doesn't know any magic. No offence." He felt so helpless.

"Wait... WHAT!?" Cid was overwhelmed with confusion. "What just happened!?"

((Yes, Cloud is there with them.))

[Ellie]

Nina explained quickly what happened to Cid. "I dont know what to do...", she muttered. her eyes welled up but she didnt cry. "The reason I told the others to go lock Ellie in her room was because Ellie has never experienced life without Pheonix. And I fear she might go crazy without the feeling of Pheonix with her."

"Oh..." Cid leaned against the wall. "Damn, that's pretty intense. You figure the scientists have any other stuff like this? If they do, maybe they have some kinda of fusing device."

[Ellie]

"i dont know. We'll get Sky to thaw this guy out in a little while.", Nina said. She looked around at the other scientists. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT!? ", she said walking over to the wall and slamming her fist against a button on the wall. Not long after poliece officers came and took the remaining 5 scientists away to the town prision.

Back at the house, Sky and Kyo had just out Ellie down and locked the door. They were in tghe kitchen now making a big pot of Soup for when she woke up. "I dont like this. Its not fair.", Sky muttered. "WHY DO THINGS LIKE THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN!!!", she yelled. Her hands were shaking as she stirred the pot. Kyo remaind scilent. He was sitting at the the counter with his hands folded and his head resting on them. "WHY!?", Sky screamed and stopped stirring. She started crying. "Did you see her!? Her hair...the blood...the scar on her stomich!? ANSWER ME!", she yelled at Kyo.

"Calm down.", Kyo said calmly. Sky sat down on the kitchen floor.

Alex sat down at the table, trying to gather himself after what'd just happen. "Complaining won't fix anything. Even though it is bullcrap that this happened, we have to think of something to fix this..." He emptied the bowels of his mind, but nothing came up.

[Ellie]

Nina headed for the elevator. "I wonder where CenTara took Pheonix.". she muttered. She look around. She opened the door to the lab, and poked her head out. "Didnt make it very far did you.", she muttered. CenTara had the incubater next to her on a cart and was crunched down next to it. "Dont worry. Neither of them are going to die.", she said trying to reassure CenTara. CenTara shook her head and got up. The small party made thier way to Ninas house after that. Nina poked her head in the kitchen while Centara took Pheonix up to Ellies room locking the door as she left. "Sky can you put an extra barrier over the door to Ellies room?", she asked. Sky did. The group was left sitting in the kitchen in scilence.

Cloud sat down on the couch and held his head up with his fist. Sephiroth stood near Alex, keeping an eye on the room. "Alex, does Kalad know any magic? If so, ask him if he knows any sealing magic." The idea just came to him.

"You're right!" Wow, he'd completely forgotten. "Alright, I'll be non-responsive for a little while." Alex's eyes became solid, having no pupils inside of them. He focused, and then he was in the same room that belonged to Kalad, with him standing in the usual spot.

[Ellie]

Sky shuddered. She wasnt used to Alex doing that. He looked dead.

"I hope--", Kyo stopped. But continued, "Plz let that Demon know sealing magic...", he trailed off. Nina and Sky looked at Kyo both a little suprised. Kyo wasnt one to wish for things out loud. He never really said anything like that. Upstairs there was a loud crash it sounded like glass breaking. Ninas eyes grew wide and she ran up the long flight of stairs and down the hall. She still wasnt used to haveng such a large house.

Cid shifted to the direction that Nina headed off to. "Jeez, do things ever settle down?" Sephiroth shrugged.

"You of all people should know, Cid."

Kalad turned to Alex, seeing as this was urgent. "Hello, Alex. I take it you need my help?"

"Not me, Ellie and Pheonix. You saw what happened, didn't you?" Kalad nodded. "Just making sure... Follow me." The demon walked over to a panal in the wall, and exerted a sort of magic. It opened, and lead to a staircase leading downward. He started his way down, being accompenied by Alex.

[Ellie]

Nina came to the door but didnt open it. The Elders--before the only good in them died--had warned her about this when she came and picked up Ellie. "ELLIE!? Its Aunt Nina. Are you alright?", she called through the door. Something else crashed against the door. Nina jumped. And agonizing scream came through the door.

"Whats wrong!?! I FEEL SO EMPTY! WHERE IS PHEONIX!?", she screeched in anger and pain. Something else crashed to the floor and Ellie threw herself against the door.

"SKY UNDO THIS SEAL AND GIVE ME THE KEYS TO THE ROOM!", Nina called down the stairs. Sky appeared next to her in an instant. Holding the keys in her hands and with a wave of her staff the seal was undone. Nina quickly unlocked the door. Ellies hair had grown to the floor and was a snowy white color She was knelt and holding her head. Nina rushed to her. Ellie threw her to the hallway. Nina flew through the wall and into the next room and lay knocked out. Ellie flew down the stairs and into the kitchen. She looked as if she was going to kill someone. Sky got caught in the mess upstairs and was trying to help Nina.

Sephiroth heard the crashes upstairs. "This doesn't sound good..." He prepaired his Masamune incase he needed to use it. "I think the rest of you need to get ready as well. With all the noises upstairs, I doubt anything good could be going on..."

After climbing down the staircase, Kalad had led Alex to an extensive library, filled with thousands and thousands of books. Alex's mouth dropped. "Where'd... All these books come from!?" he questioned in amazment. Kalad laughed. "My ancestors. With the birth of every demon, their knowledge is passed on to the next generation. And, as you know, my race has been living for a long period of time."

"So, how are we going to find the Magic among these Million Books?" Alex asked. "Simple... You just need to say: 'Sealing Magic'-" A flash of light interrupted Kalad in mid-sentence, teleporing them both to a bookrack. "...And there is a match. Wait a moment as I get it."
