Reunion

[Miss Gates]

Clear put her hand down and looked at Saint. Saint nodded. Clear looked at Jessica as Jessica gave a nod.

"We'll go as well."she told Ellie.

[Ellie]

"Alright!!!", Ellie said happily. "CenTara and Sky can you both please wait here and guard the front of the building. Ill call you once I feel everything is safe. I want no one gettin and no one getting out.", Ellie asked the two. They both nodded and stood at the doors as the rest of the group entered. The group made there way down thr halls to the lab elevator. They went down two floors and entered the lab. "Whats going on here?", Ellie asked. The lab assistants stepped aside to reveal a very large machiene and the head scientists. The scientist grinned.

"Ahhhh Grand Ruler Ellie.", he said.

"I told you. Just Ellie. I dont like the whole grand ruler thing.", she responded.

Alex eye's lurked over to the two of them while that was being said. "Grand Ruler, huh? Sweet!" He smirked to himself, being reminded of his father.

Jessica laughed at Alex. Saint shook his head. He orbed back and brought the other Slayer, Jessica Durran((in other words Ellie, me...))back with him. He thought they might need back up. Jessica Durran blinked. She didn't know anyone. The only people that she knew was Saint and Raines, the other Slayer. Jessica Durran didn't talk much in person anymore ever since she got her braces on. She was skinny and slender, she was short(4'9), brunett hair with carmel and yellow streaks, white white skin, and brown eyes.

Jessica Durran turned to Saint. "What's going on ?"she asked him.

[Ellie]

Ellie stomped on Alexs foot ever so kindly. Without making it noticeable. "Now does someone want to explain to me why the whole building almost went up in flames?", she asked a little annoyed now.

"Grand Ruler. Its simple. In order to get this machiene working I needed to create a chain reaction on small explosions. Thus creating a big explosion causing this machiene to spring into life!!!", the scientist explained. "The fire was contained so there was no need to worry, Grand Ruler." (Dude I totally just pulled all that out my butt)

Ellie was getting quite mad now. "I SAID ENOUGH WITH THE GRAND RULER THING!!!! I-DO-NOT-LIKE-IT!!", she half yelled. Kyo put his hand on her shoulder. She calmed down. "And who authorized this machiene to be made?", she asked.

"No one, miss. It was a suprise for you."

Ellie cocked an eyebrow. "And what exactly does it do?"

"Its going to send you into the future.", The Head Scientist said quite simply. The room fell scilent.

Sephiroth stepped pass the aching Alex. "A time mechanism, you say?" This sprung Sephiroth's intrest, more so than the rest of the bunch. "You have such technology?"

[Ellie]

"Why of course we do!!", The Head Scientist said hardely.

Ellies head was tilted down and to the side but her eyes remainded suspiciously on the Scientist. "And what exactly is it you plan to do...using this thing", she said through pursed lips. The scientists eyes narrowed.

"I plan to see the future of our Valley with this....", he muttered. At that Ellie pushed the button on her belt. SKy and CenTara came immideatly. Ellie quickly explain the situation. The hair on SKys arms rose.

"Who in thier right mind would want to know the future?", she asked sharply.

"Get in the machiene and youll know...", the scientist argued. Nina looked at Sephiroth.

"I really dont like this...", she muttered in his ear.

Sephiroth caught the whisper, and replied with one of his own.
"Don't worry. Cid should be here any minute."

Cloud eyed the doctor narrowly. "Is that any way you should treat your 'Grand Ruler'?"

[Ellie]

Ellie gave Cloud a 'plz dont call me that, but thank you!!' look. Its not that she didnt want the title of Grand Ruler. Its just she didnt like being treated any differently then everyone else. She was just a normal girl minus the fact she had a Dragon inside of her and she was Queen of a Village she destroyed and then rebuilt.

Nina gave Seph. a sly look. "And just what is Cid gonna do?", she whispered back. The scientist ignored Clouds remark.

"I assure you, everything will be fine. Enter the machiene and we will send you into the future for a short time. Just to poke around.", he explained.

Ellie nodded her head and started for the machiene. She stepped inside.

"Ellie you dont have to get in there.". Nina said.

"Its my job.", she resopnded the doors closed. Something was wrong. Ellie looked around scared to death. The scientist laughed.

Sephiroth chuckled. He turned to Nina and gestured to his right ear. "Intercom. I'll have him pick our weapons up from the hall should anything go wrong." he whispered back.

Alex called upon Kalad internally. Do you sense any dark aura around this place. he asked the demon. He received a reply seconds later. Yes. Though I cannot tell if it is comming from the machine, or the doctor himself. Stay on guard reguardless.

[Ellie]

The machiene started up immideatly black electric waves shot up and down it. Ellie screamed inside the mchiene. The window that had shown her face had turned black as well. The scientist laughed. SKy immideatly sprung into action she summoned her staff, and casted a HUGE ice spell at the Scientist. Freezing him solid. Kyos arm transformed. He clawed at the machiene. The other scientists worked at the computers with nasty looks on thier faces. The machiene shot Kyo backwards. No one could get near it. CenTara immdeatly went into cyber mode and tried to hack the computeres. (She can get inside of them) But the machiene then stopped. And the room fell scilent. CenTara was expelled out the computer immidealty. The doors opened.

Sephiroth had signed Cid, but it was too late. the event had already been put into motion. "Damn, it was of no use..."

Vivi hid under his hat, while the rest of the group just stood wide-eyed with same question in mind,'what just happened?'

[Ellie]

Kyo ran to the machiene. He stopped at the doors clutching both sides of the entry. "ELLIE!", he yelled. His eyes were wider than silver dollars. Ellie fumbeled out of the machiene. She collapsed into Kyo. But something was in her arms. It was covered in what appeared to be blood. "Nina....NINA!!!", Kyo shouted scared to death. AND IT TOOK ALOT TO SCARE KYO. Nina came running over.

"Oh dear god.", she muttered cupping her hand over her mouth. Where Ellies belly button was her shirt was torn wide open. Where the seal holding Pheonix inside of her had been, was now gone. "Sephiroth! GET SOMEONE DOWN HERE!!! WE NEED HELP!! ITS PHEONIX!! THE MACHIENE HAS REMOVED PHEONIX!!!" Sky stood there mouth hanging that was impossible.

Sephiroth just stood there, panicing. "This can't be... Damn it all!" He slammed his fist against the wall. He only knew how to extract such embodiments, not how to get them into someone! Cid was on the way, but he hardly knew any magic... "There's...Nothing I can do... I'm sorry..."

"That BASTARD. How could they do such a thing!?" Alex ran up to the frozen scientist and slammed his fist against him, cracking the ice.

[Ellie]

Sky looked around. "Nina. Was this lab here when the Elders were here too?", she asked quite calmly. Nina shook her head.

"Yes. We found this lot hiding here like cowards as the village was being destroyed. So we figured since no damage had been done to the pace we'd just keep it. Looks like that was a bad choice though.", she explained. Nina side stepped and grabbed one of the assistants who was laughing by the neck. She lifted him with one hand. Which was quit inpressive considering she was quite a deal smaller than him. The scientist gasped. "WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THIS!?"

"It....it *gasp* It was a final order form the Elders!", the scientist gasped. Nina threw him.

"YOU WILL ALL ROT IN HELL FOR WHAT YOUVE DONE!", CenTara yelled. She looked around. There was an incubater (the thing that keeps babies alive at the hospital or whatever) "Miss Nina. I do not believe they intended for the Dragon to die.", she said pointing at the incubater. Nina quickly tried to get Pheonix from Ellie. Kyo was now kneeling with her on the ground. Ellie refused to let go, and was concious now.

"NO! DONT TOUCH HER!! PHEONIX!!!", she screeched hugging the baby Dragon. Ellies once brown hair, was a white color now. Almost like Sephiroths.
