Reunion

The rest of the group followed intently. The darkness didn't help much, but nothing would stop them from saving their friend. Especially not a little darkness.

[Ellie]

Sky got the chills. "I hate the dark...", she muttered. She muttered an incantation. Her staff started to glow. Kyo stuck close to Sky so he could see.

"Dont worry Ellie we're comming.", Nina whispered.

((Ok after you post we're gonna find Ellie))

Alex noticed Sky lighting the path, and felt the relief. He followed it, because he didn't really want to crowd over people, seeing as Kyo was already there anyways. Kimimaro had been silent the whole time, observing the group, how they work together, how emotions fuel their strength.

He formed an honest smile. He was slowly remembering how to feel kindness again.

[Ellie]

It wasnt long before they reached a chamber covered in darkness. It was the same chamber that the Elders kept Nina, Sky, and Kyo captive in. The very same chamber where they removed Kyos arm. Ky shuddered. He had never wtned to come back o this place.

"Why the hells it so dam dark?", Kyo said getting a little aggrivated.

"I dont know. But Im having trouble lighting up the whole room...", Sky muttered. Something from with in the chamber hissed. Everyone froze. Skys light started to get brighter than dim again. "Somehtings here. And that something has a magic barrier around it.", Sky whispered with distaste.

Something in the room made another noise. It became very eerie, and cold. "This is the same feeling I had earlier when those Hell Hounds attacked, and when the fire demon attacked.", Nina paused. All you could hear was breathing. "Now that you mention it. I felt this feeling to when Ellie attacked us before..."

Alex felt a shiver go down his spine. It DID feel like this. And the wound that he got... Felt like this also. "... I'd bet money that this feeling is... Ellie's aura." he muttered.

[Ellie]

"Ellies aura?", Sky asked softly. "Like a demon aura?"

But before anyone could answer Nina screamed.

Kyo yelled, his arm glowed in the dark. "NINA!?"

Sky yelled "SUN GOD GIVE US LIGHT!!!"

The room lit up. It was a white fake looking light. And it centered around Skys staff. Shadows cast over eveything. Sky held the spall as long as she could. The magic barrier was exerting pressure on her though. He body began to tremble. Standing on a desk in front of them was the demon, and Ellie. Its claws were out and were heled against Ninas neck.

Nina grunted. "Dont hurt her...", she said through gritted teeth. The demon hissed.

(So wait, this was the demon that was inside Ellie? I'm confused.)

[Ellie]

((Haha yeah. =P We've known thatsince the beginning. You werent confused before. =P ))

This was going to be tough. But it had to be done. Alex rushed up to the demon, and grabbed her by the neck. "Let her go." he threatened. "Now."

Sephiroth knew what would happen next, if Alex didn't move away from her. "Alex, what are you thinking!? Let go and move away!" he shouted. But Alex didn't budge.

[Ellie]

The Demon hissed. "GET OUT OF MY WAY! WEAKLING!", it hissed. It was Ellies voice, but it twisted with something evil. The Demon threw Nina across the room, and roared. It rushed Alex. Digging both hands into his shoulders. No deep wounds were caused but there was blood. the demon quickly dashed away.

"I cant hold it! The barrier its too strong!", Sky willed he magic on but it was no use. The light instantly vanished and Sky fell to the ground.

Alex grunted in pain. That same feeling he got from the whip wound... It had returned. What was worse, Sky and Nina were in no better shape. But, his mind was fixed. He had free Ellie no matter what it took. He was willing to die if necessary.

Alex got up, and began to morph into his first state.

"You..." he stirred. "... will let her go... You WILL set her free... OR I WILL SIMPLY RIP THE CLAWS THAT CLUTCH HER." Alex shot the demon the nastiest look he could muster, tears starting to fall from his eyes. The boy then took off, Shippu in hand. He chanelled thunder magic inside of it, and lunged for the demon's torso.

[Ellie]

((Ha the music does fit.))



Ellie's demon shrieked with pain. It sounded much like nails on a chalk board. For seconds it did nothing but roar in pain as its torso seemed to rip in half. However without warning its eyes turned a vicious red. They were the only things visible in the dark. "DIE!", it hissed. Both the demons claws ripped into Alex's arms.

"ALEX!", Sky screamed. She could feel what was happening around her. Nina rolled herself over. Her arm burned with pain. It was broken. She gasped and watched what little she could see of Alex and Ellie.

Alex winced, and screamed out in pain when the claws made contact with his skin.The pain was so overwhelming, that Alex could no longer hold onto the Shippu. He was momentarily stunned.

'It hurts...' Alex thought. 'So much... That is burns into my bone.'
'It burns.'
'It burns so much...'
'ARAGH, THE BURNING!!!'

Alex panicked, and kicked the would-be Ellie away from him. He had to end this while he still had the chance. Embracing his own pain, Alex began forming a Chidori. The chirping began growing louder and louder.

"It's almost over...!" he grunted.

[Ellie]

Ellies demon shifted around the room at an incredible speed. It was hard to see where the thing was. "DAMMIT! ENOUGH OF THIS!", Kyo yelled. He let the barrier down from his arm and the mechanical revealed itself. "ALEX! ILL HOLD HER! YOULL NEVER HIT HER LIKE THIS!", he yelled. He rushed at the demon and grabbed Ellie around the neck. The demon screechednot expecting this. He whipped her to the front of him.

"KYO! YOU CANT!", Nina shreiked. "YOULL KILL HER!", she pleaded. Nina began to get up,but Sky grabbed her shoulders. The pain rushed through Ninas whole body.

"Aunt Nina. If we dont end this now, shell kill us. And Im not goingto let that happen.", Sky spoke softly. Nina fell limp in her arms. Watching theroom light with Alexs Chidori. Ellies face twisted in fear.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!", the demon shreiked. The sound was horrible. Much like nails on a chalk board.
