Crawls In The Moonlight

[Miss Gates]

Jackqlyn Summers walked down the snowy bridge which lead to a frozen river. The air was cold and whipped around her 'scene' black hair. She smelled the air and the scent of her ancestors filled her nostrils; wolves. She loved that smell.

She opened her mouth and howled. Even though she was in human form, she could still communicate with the magnifiscent creatures. She said 'hello' and they relplied happily. Jackqlyn smirked.

Danny's black fur was covered in white from the snow fall. He stared up at the moon. He looked around at the pack. They were all fast asleep. A walk he thought thinking it was a good idea and began heading into the cold. The snow crunching beneath his paws.

[Miss Gates]

Jacklyn was mesmerized by the reflection of the moon on the snow covered pond. She wanted to walk on it, but was afraid. Unlike most humans, Jacklyn had a fear of water. She didn't know why, but it just scared her. Even to take a shower. She prefered dry things.
Her ice blue eyes sparkled in the moonlight as she stared at it. She sniffed the air and smelled a wolf near by. She smiled sweetly.

"Hello honey," she said gently.

Danny walked next to her and shook off some of the snow that had fallen on him on his way there. He sat and looked up at her since she was in her human form. His eyes sparkled saying a hello back. He huffed and looked at the frozen water and started to step on it.

[Miss Gates]

Jacklyn watched him, terror rising up in her throat. What if the ice broke and he drowned?

"No, wait!" Jacklyn gasped. "Don't!"

She changed into her wolf form without even realizing it. Her fur was black, black as obsidian. She stepped out onto the ice and then froze. Jacklyn couldn't move, she was too afraid.

Oh no, she thought.

Stay still Danny instructed her and walked back to her. He began to slowly push her back onto solid ground. your okay. The ice is pretty thick. he thought to her.

[Miss Gates]

Jacklyn didn't realize she was holding in her own breath until Danny pushed her back on land. She let it out.

Thank you, she thought. You could have drowned!

Danny smirked and pushed on the ice as hard as he could. I was on it earlier. I knew what i was doing. he grinned.

[Miss Gates]

Jacklyn looked at the ice and then turned around. She didn't want to look at it anymore.

Okay, she thought. I'm glad you're safe.

Danny padded next to her. What are you doing out here? So late

[Miss Gates]

Jacklyn looked at him.

I needed to get away from home, she thought. This place is peaceful, calming. Jacklyn paused. So long as I don't go on the ice that is...You?

[jojodancer]

I couldn't sleep. Danny said shrugging his husky shoulders.

[Miss Gates]

Jacklyn nodded. I see. she thought. She was still shaking.

Why am I so afraid of the water? Jacklyn asked herself. It still puzzled her.

Think your ready to go back to bed now? Danny asked looking at her with his hazel eyes.

[Miss Gates]

Jacklyn looked at him with her green eyes. She stuttered.

I...I think so. she thought.
