Reunion

The other starred at the fued, taking in the words that were released from their lips. But Cid got back on tasks. "Nina, do you mind pointing out where this mountain-thing is? I'm sorta lost." He said, partially embarressed.

[Ellie]

(It was in one of the old rps. You were there...then jessie deleated it... T_T )

She shook her head again. "Yeah, Cid.", she gave a teary smile. "It--", Kyo cut her off.

"Dammit Aunt Nina!", he said angerily removing his fist from the wall. "Quit looking so damn depressed. Im sick of everyone being so damn emotional!"

"KYO!", Sky bursted out. "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT! ITS ELLIE! AUNT NINAS--", this time it was Nina who cut Sky off.

"Its fine.", she said boldly. She started at Kyo and looked at Cid. "The mountians just beyond the east side of the Valleys forest. It was somesort of Volcanic thing. We never determined what ots connection was with the Dragons.", she looked at Alex. "Youve been there." Her voice was stronger. Different.

Alex knew right away. His father wasn't with them at the moment, but Alex was sure of the memory. He walked over to the pilot's controls and started typing in the coordinates. "Sorry, Dad. But I don't think this place could be guided on the auto pilot. Be carefull getting there."

Cid grunted. "I don't need advice from my own kid... I'll be fine!" Cid shouted in confidence. "You're talking to Cid, here you know!"

Cloud scoffed as Sephiroth sighed in unison. Kimimaro just looked from afar.

[Ellie]

Nina shook her head with a small half hearted laugh. "Yes the infallable Cid...", she murmmered. Sky looked out the window.

"Its not going to be easy getting in there. We half destroyed the place last time we were there.", she said in a depressing manner.

Nina shook her head. "I highly doubt Ellie would go somewhere where she had to clean up. Shes demonic. Not a house keeper.", she retorted. Sky looked at her with glassey eyes. They showed no emotion, but were somehow cold. Nina turned away. "Lets get this thing flying Cid."

"Right." Cid pressed a few buttons, and lifted a few levers, and the ship took off with blinding speed. "YEEEEHAW."

Alex took to himself in thought. Even though his wound still hurt, it wasn't bleeding anymore. There was something weird about her attacks... Could she have applied some of her aura to her weapon?

"Ah, Ellie... We'll get you back soon enough..." he said to himself.

[Ellie]

Nina poked her forehead to his. "Thinking are we?", she said softly causing him to jump. She smiled and walked away.

It wasnt long before the large extinct volcanoe was in sight. Kyo huffed. He didnt like the sight of it. This was the place where the Elders ripped his arm off. His shoulder slightly twitched.

Cid sighed at the sight of the volcano. He decided that now would be the time to tell the others. "Listen up, everyone. I'd love to stay and help rescue Lil' Ellie, but I just can't leave Lindblum alone like this... Without me, the soldiers have no sense of direction..." He clenched his fist.

Sephiroth looked up at the pilot. "I see." The silver-haired man took in the sencerity of his plea. "You've grown since our SOLDIER Expeditions. I more than understand your situation, and won't hold anything against you."

Cloud nodded. "Same here."

[Ellie]

Nina huffed. "AFTER ALL THE shoot WE WENT THROUGH TO RESCUE YOU!!!! AFTER ALL WE'VE BEEN PUT THROUGH TO HELP YOU AND ALEX!!!!", she made a very angry face and huffed. "You wont even help with Ellie?", she whispered to herself so low that no one could hear. "But...I suppose. Since its for Lindbulm. Go on then.", she smiled gently.

Sky stepped in the room. "How will you be getting home Mr. Cid?", she said very politely.

Cid knew this would happened. He struggled for a moment, and then turned some sort of transmission on through his pilot panal. What appeared to be a dockant appeared on the cornor of the screen.

"Yes, General Cid? What do you need?" he said.

Cid remained silent for a moment, but then rose his head. "I quit. Bein' general of Lindblum is just too much work."

The room grew silent. Alex and Sephiroth were especially shocked to hear this.
"B-b-but, sir! This is such short notice! What will-"
Cid interupted. "Go ahead and give my position to the Lieutenant. That's my final order."
The dockant shuddered. "Y-yes, sir... Over and out..." The intercom then closed. Cid then turned to the rest of the room with a big toothy grin. "Allrighty, then! That settles that!"

Alex looked at his father with anxiouty. "DAD, WHAT WAS THAT!? ARE YOU INSANE!?"

Cid turned back to the controls. "Bein' general was nothing but trouble from the very beginning. Ever since the buisiness with that Xemnas guy all the way up to now, I've been tied up all the damn time- never being able to spend the time with my own kid. Now, 'cause I quit, I have all the freetime in the world. I'm sure I can work at the Aero-Parts Shop." Cid sounded as if a huge burden had been lifted from his shoulders. "Besides, the Lieutenant is much more enthusiastic about the military business than I ever was. She'll be happy."

Alex slowly begun to understand. "Gotcha." he said in a lowly voice.

Almost as if on cue, the mountain was within landing range. "ALRIGHT, LET'S DO THIS THING!" The pilot punched the 'Land' button, and the soon docked near the specified landing area. Cid looked at Nina, and gave her a Thumbs Up. "Commin'?"

[Ellie]

Nina blinked. She had not expected that. Never In a million years. her mouth sort of hung for a moment. She stepped closer to Cid, who from this angle look quite goofy with his giant grin and his thumbs up. She stood up and hugged him. "Thank you...." with a single slick motion she walked off the ship.

Sky blinked and smiled. "I know Ellie will appreciate this." And she followed Nina. Moments later Kyo walked in the room.

"What the hells going' on?", he said with a confused less angry expression.

"Nothin'." Cid said, turning to the bridge. He laughed to himself as he walked off.

Everyone unloaded off of the ship. The wind whiped through Sephiroth's hair, and Vivi held on to his hat in fear that it would fly away. The mountain seemed taller than the tallest building, like most mountains do. But, this particular mountain had a certain precence about it. Alex started to pick up an aura.

"So... This 'Ellie' is supposed to be around here?" Kimimaro asked to the group in general.

[Ellie]

Kyos arm twitched as he walked off the ship. His arm felt like a led weight.

Sky looked up. "Yes. I believe she is....".she muttered in response mysteriously. She trailed off stairing at the mountian.

"This--about a thousand years ago--was the birthing and mateing ground for ALL of the Dragons. When they died out it apparently became a secret place for the Elders to plan and hide. They heled Sky, Kyo, and I captive here. They also chopped off Kyos arm and gave him that.", she explained to everyone quickly.

The wind blew mysteriously.

"I really dont like this...", Kyo snorted.

Kimimaro was silent. His face showed that was was shocked; he just saw a glimspe of what this group had endured in the past. "I see... Truly unfortunate." he said softly.

Alex took a step in front on the group. "We gotta save her. I couldn't bare the thought... of..." he paused, studdering on the next phrase. It wasn't because he couldn't say the next word... he just wouldn't say it. He shook his head to himself. "We have to get to Ellie. We have to get to her no matter what!"

His eyes started to water. He remembered talking to Sephiroth the night before they took on Xemnas. The words he said- he could remember them all so clearly... :

"When I met Sky, Kyo, and Ellie, I learned what destiny was. In a way, they're the reason why this journey was started. They've helped us so much, and we probally wouldn't of got here without them. And you know what else?" He paused for a moment. "... They showed me what having best friends is like. I'm so thankfull for having met them."

He clenched his fists tightly.

[Ellie]

Nina put a hand on Alexs shoulder her eyes watering a bit too. "So much has happened...so much...", she was at a loss for words. "Alex...we'll get her...", she really didnt know what else to say. She was so thankful to see so many people concerned for Ellie. Scilence fell over them for a moment

Sky broke the scilence. "You...We've all grown up so much since we met you Alex...Youve come a long way from the boy we met in (?)Lindbulm(?)", her words were soft.

Alex nodded at Nina, being regained some confidence. "But now... Ellie needs us- let's get to it!" the boy said, taking few marched ahead of the group. But, he soon turned to faced the rest of the bunch, and said "Eh, I'm not sure where to go..." He sweatdropped.
