Reunion

Alex nodded. "Yeah. Kalad just told me that he felt some thing heading towards us. To be honest, I felt them too." The boy drew the Shippu, and got ready for what was comming. "Get ready, everyone!"

[Ellie]

Nina pulled out her gun though she didnt really know where to aim.

Sky summoned her staff. "Whatever it is, its got a VERY strong fire element.", Sky said. She had water and ice spells on the tip of her mind.

Kyo looked down into the lava. His arm turned a huge mechanical claw. "THIER COMMING FROM BELOW!", Kyo yelled. But as he was yelling four huge black masses came from the depths at an incredible speed. One lashed at Nina. They were so fast she barely had time to react. She began to fire rapidly. Sky tried summoning ice, but she couldnt get a lock on the they were to fast.

One attacked Kyo as soon as it came up. It slashed ai his chest. He grasped its neck and crushed it. But its head just reformed. "WHAT THE HELL!?'

One of these creatures nearly got it's claws on Alex, but he was able to swiftly kick it off before it could get to him. He tryed to slash another, but it only reformed afterwords. "Damn, nothing's working!" Alex shouted.

Sephiroth drew his own blade, incase if one suddenly attacked himself. "Weird... I've never seen these beasts before..." he mumbled to himself.

[Ellie]

"EVERYONE STAND STILL!", Sky shouted. Her eyes went ice blue. "SUMMON: ICE DEMON!", she breathed. The air around them went cold. A human sized creature came fourth. It growled fiercly. It slashed each of the hellhounds. It was suprisingly faster than them. Each hellhound froze.

Nina was shocked. "Everyone attack while thier frozen!"

Alex made a swift attack to one, and it was sliced in half. He then kicked both parts into the firey lava below. Sephiroth did the same, only used fire magic when he was finished.

[Ellie]

Nina shot on stragight in the head. It shattered in little pieces that flew over the edge of the path and into the lava. Kyos clawed hand began to spin at high speeds. He drove his hand into the beast causing almost the same effect. He kicked remaining pieces into the lava.

"What were those things?", Sky asked looking at Sephiroth.

Sephiroth seathed his sword, and looked back at Nina. He was baffled. "Your guess is as good as mine. I've never seen anything like them before." he said, sighing. "Though, I can safely say that these beasts were under Ellie's orders."

[Ellie]

Nina glared at him. "ELLIE WOULDNT DO THAT!", she yelled.

"BUT WHATEVERS INDSIDE HER WOULD!", Kyo yelled back at Nina. "Dont take it out on him! You know its her!"

"Your one to talk!", Nina saidcoldly rolling her eyes.

"Yeah. But this isnt like you!", Sky put in. There was a pause. "And I believe those things are called Hellhounds. They are demons."

"Lets just keep moving.", Nina said pushing her statement aside.

Sephiroth was surprised. He wasn't expecting for Nina to react like this. "My apologies..." he muttered. Cid and Cloud were pretty shocked too. Nevertheless, the group pressed on towards Ellie. The quicker this was over, the better. For everyone.

[Ellie]

Sky looked at Sephiroth. "What the matter with her? She REALLY moody.", she muttered in her usual empty sounding voice.

"I'm not sure myself. I bothers me, to tell you the truth." he replied, whispering so that only the two of them could hear. "But... She truely cares for Ellie. I do know that much."

Alex growled quietly to himself. "Let's just keep going! The point is, Ellie still needs our help, and we're gonna help her!" he said, charging in front of the cluster. "So let's just go!"

[Ellie]

Sky blinked with a shocked face. "Uhmmm...yes.", she said recasting the spells to cool them off. Kyo remained scilent. All he could think about was Ellie.

Nina looked around the cave. "This is going to take forever.", she huffed.

((Are we getting close? We've been crossing the bridge for a while now.))

Cid laughed. "No it aint. All we gotta do is cross this bridge, and we'll be all the more closer." he announced without thinking about it.

[Ellie]

Nina pointed up. "We've still got all of that to go", she muttered. There were at least three more bridges above them. The towered over head. Sky sighed, and Kyo huffed.

Ellie snarled as he felt the hellhounds get beaten so easily.

"Contain yourself!", the voice from before boomed through the room. Ellies eyes glazed over.

"Yes master.", she hissed.

"Send something bigger.", the voice said coldly. Ellie walked to the center of the room. She rose her hands. And yelled "SUMMON GREAT DEMON OF THE LAVA PITS"

Cid looked up, and his mouth dropped to the floor. "Oh... Forgot about that..." he gaped. the group continued to drudge up the bridge sets, growing more tired step by step.

Though, there was another vauge aura about the place. Kalad spoke to Alex once again.
'I feel another evil beast comming. This one feels stronger than the last ones.' he said in monotone. Alex swallowed hard.
