The Boarding School

[Atticus]

Nathan picked up some of his food and sits down on the table in front "man i can't think to myself with her in here" he said silently to himself as he put some food in his mouth and takes a drink of his water as he sighs he pulls out his wallet and looks inside of it so he was staring at a photo of his sister and mum "i miss you mum" he said silently tohimself.

[Miss Gates]

Jamie looked at Kerry with a sad smile.

"Thanks,"she said. "I found out what my powers are."

Jamie's eyes started to water and she clenched her eyes shut. She didn't want to cry in front of all these people. Not now. Not ever.

"Oh really?" Kerry said. "What is it?"

[Miss Gates]

"I borrow people's powers for a short while,"Jamie explained. "But only if they have powers. If they don't-they-they end up-deade."

[cosmicbreaker]

Sirus got his food from the 'lunch lady', and followed Nathan's scent. Once he'd found his target, he sat down across from him. "Hello, roommate." he said in a friendly tone. "I noticed you set up, and to tell you the truth, I'm pretty excited that I have some company now." he mentioned.

"But, 'nuff about that..." he extanded his hand over the table. "My name's Sirus Griffe. Nice to meet you."

"COOL!" Kerry said. "And all I can do is read minds." she sighed. "My grandmother thinks that someday I'll be able to move things with my mind. That's why I'm still in this place."

[Miss Gates]

Jamie looked at Kerry. She was trying to cheer her up. Jamie smiled.

"Thats a cool power,"Jamie told her. "The headmaster also said that I am incapable of contact again. I should only use my powers for emergencies only."

"I would give anything to trade my gift for hers."Jamie thought sadly.

"No you don't." Kerry said slyly. "It's so common and really hard to control."

[Miss Gates]

Jamie smiled. "Well,"she said. "I don't know that much about my powers. I just know that I am one of the powerful ones. Thats what the headmaster said anyway. And I am pretty sure that you can get the hang of your gift and be one of the powerful ones as well."

"Why I am so powerful,"Jamie thought. "I have no idea."

"It's because you can take any power you want and masterr it. Most people would kill for that kind of power."

[Atticus]

Nathan quickly stuffed the picture into his pocket as Sirus came over as he nodded at what he was saying "I'm Nathan Adams" he said nicely "So whats it like here? are the classes hard?" he asked trying to take his mind off stuff.

[Miss Gates]

Jamie smiled at Kerry.

"Thanks Kerry,"Jamie said. "But its dangerous, and I keep on forgetting that you can read my thoughts. Anyway, I can take any power. But I chose not to. The Headmaster said it was to dangerous and people could diei."

"Quit being so over dramatic. It's not like you kill people on purpose. Or do you?"

[Miss Gates]

Jamie shook her head. "No!"she said. "I can't control it. I can only borrow their powers for a minute the headmaster told me this!"

"Well relax." Kerry said. "That's the point of this school."
