The Boarding School

[Atticus]

Nathan seemed to blush abit but shook it of he was about to say something but the headmaster turned up *dammit man* he thought as he canceled the halo ring hoping the headmaster didn't see it he was about to walk past but thought better knowing it would be very rude he looked at Jamie from the corner of his eye but looked back at the headmaster.

"watch your language!" Kerry said. "its bad enough when people say it out loud but when i hear it in thought I cant ignore it."

[Atticus]

Nathan started to get very angry "well try to learn how to control it then and maybe you wont have to hear people's thoughts" he said barging past all three of them and into the school "this is stupid" he said to himself walking down the corridor he had no clue on where he was going but didn't care as long as he got away from them *why'd my parents send me here i can control my powers* he thought to himself as he stoped stop in the middle of the corridor and looked back.

[Miss Gates]

Vivian straightened out her posture and narrowed her eyes at Kerry.

"Nathan is right Kerry,"Vivian said. "You need to learn to block people's thoughts, but on another note..."

Vivian looked at Nathan. "Nathan your attitude is disrespectful. Come and apologize."

Vivian looked back at Jamie and smiled. "You'll have to excuse my students, but they really are good people. They just get on people's nerves sometimes."

Jamie nodded in understandment. Then she looked at Vivian.

"Can-can-can you help me?"Jamie asked her.

Vivian looked at her and then gave her a big smile. "Of course I can my dear."

Vivian held out her hand to Jamie. Jamie hesistated, but took her hand. Then she looked at Kerry.

"Kerry,"she said. "Do you have a room mate?"

Jamie looked at Kerry as she waited for her to answer.

"I know how to control my powers. I just think it's fun to pick on Nathan because he can't control his temper. And yeah she can be my room mate. Lisa's in there too but we've got plenty of room."

[Atticus]

Nathan turned round fully and walked back "I'm sorry for my manners" he said looking as he actually bowed his head abit he stood up straight again "It's been a pleasure meeting you Jamie" he said smiling as he turned round and started walking down the corridor.

Sirus peaked around the cornor. The boy seemed to be a psychic; only they had the power to create such barriers. And the girl that joined them seemed to be a mindreader of sorts. Though, the girl he originally was tracking was still a mystery... After the headmaster left, he decided that he would personally confront the group- in a friendly way.

Kerry was tuning out when she suddenly heard avoice form behind her. It had a slight echo to it so she knew it was someone's thoughts. "Hello" she said without looking back at the boy.

[Miss Gates]

The headmaster smiled at Kerry. "Thank you Kerry,"she said. "I'm going to get Jamie situated and explain to her what the school is. You can give her tour later if you would like."

Meanwhile, Jamie smiled as she watched Nathan leave.

"Maybe I should go talk to him later."Jamie thought.

[Atticus]

Nathan walked round the corner of the corridor towards his dorm *should be right round here* he thought as he arrived at his dorm "bingo" he said quietly he opened the door walking in, it was a quite small room compared to others it had a few draws and a desk fof him to do his writing on he placed his bag down and sat down onto the bed "bit small for my liking" he said as he opened his bag pulling out his clouths.

"there we go as good as it can get" he had placed many posters up of his favorite band and put a picture of his mum and sister on the side but had no pictures of his dad he turned round and walked out of the room closing the door and went down the corridor to find the dinner hall.

Kerry escorted Jamie to their room. Since Kerry's dad was the school's greatest alumni she was always given special treatment. "I wonder why that one guy ignored me" she asked herself. "oh well." "Food is this way" she said to Jamie. "How was your chat with the headmaster?"

[Miss Gates]

Jamie looked at Kerry and shrugged. "It was okay,"she said nervously. "I found out my power."

"And that I'm a freak..."she thought.

[Atticus]

Nathan continued to walk towards the Dinner hall he looked down the hallway seein Jamie and Kerry walking towards the dinner hall too he walked round the corner *man are they following me* he thought to himself he sprinted the rest of the way and went into the dinner hall quickly getting in line.

Sirus, to seem like there was nothing there, kept quiet. He thought as long as he did this, the mindreader would seem that she was speaking to nothing.

When Sirus returned to his dorm, he noticed something... different about it. It had posters... a picture... and other assorted details. "Huh... It would seem that I've obtained a roommate..." he thought aloud. He didn't mind it really; in fact, the half-wolf was almost excited to meet him. Alas, he'd grown hungry, and started making his way to the dinner hall, taking his place in line.

He noticed that the person in front of him was the boy he saw earlier. Also... his scent matched the one left on the poster and other things in his room. "Quite interesting..." he muttered.

"You aren't a freak." Kerry said. "No we weren't following you Nathan."
Kerry walked over to the table where she usually sat and gestured for Jamie to follow. She glared at Nathan. "I wonder how anyone can be so obnoxious." she thought to herself.
