The Dark Months: War

Ward had been listening intently to the conversation."It sounds like youre anxious to find powers within yourself. Slow down since the world will more likily see you as a threat than a superhero or something of the sort." He cautioned."By chance do you have any information about perhaps human and vampire children?" He himself was curious but catious.

It was troublesome how she seemed to just give off this information which she most likily knew would lead to more questions, of course making friends and not enemies was always a good thing so maybe this was for the best to keep Rachelle good.

[Miss Gates]

Rachelle looked at Ward. She hadn't really noticed him. She had been ignoring him this whole time because he was human. She hated humans. "They're all stupid."she thought. Then, she looked at Ward.

"No."Rachelle simply said and turned back to Lucian.

"Some of the most powerful vampires can do illusions,"she explained. "I am pretty sure. You'd have to meet my master if you want anymore training or knowledge of the vampires, but we would have to wait until Zoey comes back."

Meanwhile, Zoey continued to drive on the highway until she came to an exit. She turned into the exit and drove down to the hospital. The hospital was empty, but there would be left over supplies there. Zoey pulled into a parking space and locked her car. Then she walked into the hospital.

[Atticus]

Lucian looked at Ward *forgot that man was still here* he thought quickly turning back to Rachelle "i thought so" he said nodding "Wait your master would be willing to train me?" he said moving forward and putting his hands together *now im really interested* he thought finally feeling happy again but still really angry at the fact he was turned.

[Miss Gates]

Rachelle looked at Lucian. "Usually he is."she said.

"Hmmmm."Rachelle thought.

[Atticus]

Lucians eyes widen "really?" he said getting excited "that would be amazing to be train by your master" he said really cheerfully *i can't belive this is happing to me, what a day this is* he thought to himself

[Miss Gates]

Rachelle sighed. "Silly vampire."she thought.

"You need alot of training before you meet my master,"Rachelle said. "And don't look at me. I'm sure Zoey will be pleased to train you, but I live alone."

Ward shook his head obviously this vampire was only interested in holding a conversation with another vampire even if they are a half breed.

As Ward stood up and stretched he realized this only one source of light in the room and focused all his attention on not looking into it.

"What are you skilled in already?"He asked Lucian wondering more what he did than what he could do.

[Atticus]

Lucians smile vanished in an instant "oh right" he said looking down "But wouldn't you get lonely if your always by yourself?" he said hoping it wasn't a personal question as he turns to Ward "as far as i know i was just a normal human" he said going back to looking at the floor.

[Miss Gates]

Rachelle gritted her teeth. She did have a reason behind her living alone. She didn't trust creatures or people. As far as she was concerned, she didn't need to be with anyone. Even though this question annoynied her, she answered it anyway.

"It doesn't bother me,"Rachelle explained. "After my parents died in battle a LONG time ago, when it was just Earth and none of these other worlds, I decided to live alone."

Rachelle chuckled inside. "Thats a b.s answer."she thought.

Rachelle looked at Ward with a disgusted look on her face. "Since we seem to be getting along, what about you? You've been awful quiet. Normally my species are the quiet ones. Not the opposite."

"What do you mean what about me? I'm a quiet guy, of course by not the opposite i'm assuming that you mean humans which i probobly admited earlier i am not, at least not completely"Ward explained softly not taking offense to her gaze.

It was with this in mind that he silenced himself and looked around the room for a mirror or something that could reflect his image.

Absentmindedly he asked"What would you like to know about me?"

Lucian stared at the ground as she said the war his eyes started to water abit *no i can't be thinking about that here* "if you excuse me i need to use the bathroom" he said slowly geting up to suport his legs as he walks out of the room and up the stairs as he gets to the toilet he turns round and puts his hand on the sink and looks into the mirror seeing himself in it crying slightly as the lining around his eyes go black abit *wait i thought vampires can't see themselfs in the mirror* he thought staring at it shocked.

[Miss Gates]

Rachelle watched Lucian leave as she sniffed the air. It was tears. She could smell them. She shook her head.

"Its only a war,"she thought and then looked at Ward. "Not completely human? Interesting..."

Rachelle looked at Ward from head to toe. Then she rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Well for starters,"Rachelle said. "I guess where do you come from?"

"Ahh most likily the easiest question for me to answer."Ward smiled at her politely as he began a slight tangent.

"Well truth is i haven't the slightest where i was born but i was raised here and there small villages which never seemed to have a population after a week. The longest i ever stayed in one place was 3 weeks where i learned what was going on, that particular time we had stayed in a slightly larger village for supplies and food for me and mom."He said not explaining it further.

"Now then i was rumored to have been born over in the new world, america if you will. But i have no clue how trustworthy a man is who can change shape at will."He was obviously refering to Dracula. He finally found what he was looking for while explaining himself, in the corner of the room was a mirror which hadn't been cleaned in what appeared to be years.

"I am mearly a traveler stopping where i need to for survival but i perfer the road it's what i know."He said finally sitting down on the now vacant couch.

[Atticus]

Lucian stared at himself in the mirror as the Lucian waved at him from the mirror he stepped away from it concerned "what is going on?" he said to himself silently as the figue in the mirror shruged, Lucian's eyes widen "are you the reason i can see myself in the mirror? and are you the reason i become a vampire without the blood of a vampire?" he said to it as it blew on the mirror writing "yes and no" the figue in the mirror looked at the door and back to Lucian as it blew on the mirror again writing "your different Lucian you can see things differently to others you can get strengh from anything as for you turning into a vampire maybe your body accepted it but i do not know why" it wrote as the writing quickly fades away as he writes "be carefull of Rachelle and Ward" it wrote as the figue stops moving as Lucian moves upto and waved his as it waved back "please you must tell me more" he said to it but seeing that it was himself in the mirror again *what is going on* he thought as he falls onto the floor sitting down.

[Miss Gates]

Rachelle sighed. "Well that wasn't interesting at all,"she thought in disappointment. "But I do know what he means."

Rachelle nodded. "I see."

Suddenly, Rachelle sensed another prescence, but just as quick as she had sensed it, it was gone. Rachelle looked at Ward with a suspicious look.

"Is there anything or anyone else with you?"Rachelle asked.
