The World that Never Was:Climax

Hojo was caught in the middle of the battlefield, having no potential way of defending himself. "Oh dear... What is this?" He just stood there, while hearts flew to the sky.

After Cloud and Vivi finished the last of the heartless, the party rested themselfs. The creatures were almost to large in number. A few more, and there could have been a mishap. "Well, I guess that was Axel's 'Plan B'?" Sephiroth asked to himself.

[Ellie]

"Prolly....", Nina muttered. She was whooped. "Its been a while since Ive fought like that..."

"What now...?", Ellie asked. "We cant just sit here and wait to be attacked again."

"And we certianly cant sit here doing nothing either.", Sky put in. The sun was bginning to set already.

[cosmicbreaker]

"Well..." Cloud cracked his knuckles, then continued speaking. "We've got a big day tomorrow. Seeing as we're close to Lindblum, it wouldn't be smart to go any further than we already are. So, I guess we sleep here for the night."

Alex had just realised. Tomorrow was the day. They might live through it, though, they might not. The next day would determine a lot.

[Ellie]

"We sleep here then. No sense in making a camp. Find something and sleep.", Nina said. They did however make a fire and eat. It was cold that night. The breeze didnt help either. Ellie cuddeled with Kyo, and Sky warmed her self by heating the ground around her using magic. Nina had grabbed a pillow and blanket form the houses. Well at lease what resembeled a pillow and a blanket. Most of the houses had been raided or trashed.

Cloud and Vivi sat by the fire, and slowly fell asleep. Cloud was sitting up, while Vivi was passed out, being covered by a pillow he retrived from the town's Inn.

Hojo bid farewell to the group, seeing as his home was at the other side of the checkpoint. He was glad he could help the gang with their enemys.

Sephiroth remained awake with Alex, to stay on the look out. He looked at the boy, who seemed to be deep in thought. "Alex."

He looked over. "Hmm?"

"I want you to know. Whether was suceed tomorrow or not, we're all with you. And that we won't turn back when things get 'hopeless'."

Alex smiled. "I know that. I got something to tell you, too."

"Oh really? What is it?" Sephiroth's face seemed to look confused, in the sort of way.

"When I met Sky, Kyo, and Ellie, I learned what destiny was. In a way, they're the reason why this journey was started. They've helped us so much, and we probally wouldn't of got here without them. And you know what else?" He paused for a moment. "... They show me what having best friends is like. I'm so thankfull for having met them." His emotion deepened.

Sephiroth ^_^ 'd. "Good. I'm sure they enjoy your company too, Alex."

[Ellie]

(Aww yeay!!! :] )

Nina was awake and heard Alex. She was facing the opposite way from them but she still heard every word. She was very proud of the three. She smiled quaintly to herself and closed her eyes it was long before she was in a deep sleep to.

"Aunt Nina. AUNT NINA!!", the next thing she knew it was morning and Ellie and Kyo were trying to wake her up. She got up and looked around.

"How long have ya been tryin to wake me?", she asked.

"Oh only about a half hour.", Kyo said sourly, but grinned after. Ellie and him were holding hands. Nina rolled her eyes and got up.

Cloud stiffened. "He's not kidding about the half hour. I woke up to their exessive shouting." He cracked his neck.

"You never were a morning person." Sephiroth said slyly.

[Ellie]

Ninas eyes narrowed. "Oh really.", she said and got up and rusteled Sephiroths hair. "HAHA!"

"Oh sheesh Aunt Nina...", Ellie muttered. She shook her head.

"AHouldnt we get a move on?", Kyo asked rather calmly.

Sephiroth chuckled slightly as Nina played with his hair. "Well, we should consider a battle plan first. It'd be tough just to rush the gates with all of the security."

"Think we should split into two group; one aerial and one on foot?" Alex suggested. Sephiroth shrugged. "I think splitting up into groups would be smart, but i was thinking more on the lines of disguise."

[Ellie]

Ellie grinned. "I LEAD THE AERIAL!!!!", she shouted.

"Why dont we use something from the houses. We can blend in...", Sky muttered.

[cosmicbreaker]

"That'd be a good idea. I though I saw some clothes somewhere over there." Sephiroth pointed towards a old house, un affected yet still somewhat broken. "Who knows, maybe there was a clothing shop here."

[Ellie]

Sky pointed to behind the building Sephiroth pointed out. "I sense something over there. We must hurry.", she said coldly. Her eyes were narrowed and a deep purple.

Sephiroth nodded, and dashed in and out of the ram-shackled building. He tossed clothes to the group, and kept one set for himself. "Just throw it on."

Alex recieved an odd set of clothes, a dark cloak that covered hid body from the neck down. "You mean I have to wear this?" Sephiroth laughed. "Only if you want to survive."

[Ellie]

Sky was rather displeased with hers too. It was rather bright for her taste. It was a yellow dress. That of which an old lady would wear. Nina and Ellie recieved matching brown battered cloaks. Kyo gott black robes. "Lead the way Seph...", Nina muttered.

Cloud was rather disraught with his clothes. A white T-shirt with baggy jeans. Uck. Vivi wore his large purple shirt and white pants with question, and Sephiroth got lucky with a set of Black robes top and red pants that stretched to be more wide as it got to his feet. "Alright, then. Follow me."

They all took after Sephiroth, heading toward the bustling town of Limblum. Alex got more anxious as they got closer.
