Nina smiled. "Of course.", she said. "Before we leave Id like to introduce youto me niece.", she said. "This is the ever infamous Ellie. Ya know the little baby who caused me so much grief back in our SOLDIER days.", she said swinging an arm over Ellie and rustling her hair.

"Nice to meet you.", she said with a smile. She introuduced Kyo ad Sky to. After they exchanged greetings and talked for a moment Nina sighed.

"Well guys...I guess itstime we left.", she said. "Who knows what those bloody Elders are up to back home."

Cid was surprised that that was Ellie. She looked much more pleasent than he'd thought. But again, this was where they're going to say 'bye'. They'd just seen eachother in ages, too.

Alex nearly forgot. "Wait!" he said, catching them before they left. "Before you leave... take this." He handed them a walkie-talkie like device. "It's a communicater. If you ever need to contact us, just press that button. Anywhere, anytime, it'll trigger this one!" Alex also showed them his.

"Well, then... I guess this is bye for now. Thanks a lot, you guys." he said softly, looking a tad sad.

[Ellie]

Nina hugged Cid. "Ill see ya around then.", she said a bit saddly.

Sky took the communicator from Alex. "I think this will come in handy.", she sad plesantly.

"And you can bet we'll be calling you!", Ellie added. Kyo just grunted and smiled.

The three of them walked out of the castle. Ellie transformed. Pheonix took of with a loud happy roar. They headed home.

Alex looked Phoenix flew off, along with Sky, Kyo, and Nina. Even though he gave them the cummicater, he was still sad to see them go. But... Alex strengthened himself smiled. Vivi nervously walked up to the boy, and started to speak.

"Umm... I think I'm gonna' stay here in Lindblum... But..." he paused a little, and his eyes strayed to the left. "... What're you gonna' do, Alex?"

Alex looked at Vivi for a moment, and then went back to looking at the distance. "Well, I've learned a lot these last few months. I made valuble friends, saw amazing sights, and even dealt with incredible hardships. I know... just waiting out there are a ton of more adventures, people to meet, and sights to see just around the horizon. I was thinking of heading out of Lindblum, and experience the world."

Sephiroth placed a hand on Alex's shoulder. "Then I'll be going with you. It's pretty dangerous out there, and you've still got a lot to learn... Plus, it was kind of lonely just going by myself." he joked. "...That is, if it's alright with you, Cid."

Cid was sort of baffled. While he missed his kid, he knew that... he was growing up. "Alright, alright. As long as ya call in every week or so. If ya don't, I'll hunt you down!" he laughed. Alex laughed with him, as did Sephiroth.

"Thank you, Dad..."
