The World that Never Was:Climax

Itachi jumped and avoided the frisby. He landed, rushing at Ellie. If I take out the weakest first... There'll be less trouble that way. She will be first. he thought to himself. If he got close enough, Ellie would be caught in his Sharingan trap.

Alex went after Itachi. "OH, NO YOU DON'T, BASTARD." He channeled thunder energy through his plams, and directed it at the nobody. He dodged without looking at him, and countered with another fireball jutsu. Alex had to once again stop and evade it.

"Watch out, Ellie!"

[Ellie]

Ellies head was down. Shed expected that. She had no other choice. She grinned. In a burst of fire she transformed. Breaking the ceiling with her now huge gleeming back. She swatted Itachi with her large claws causeing him be whisped out of the way.

Itachi was forced back, slamming against the wall behind him. But he laughed. "Fool... By transforming into a bigger creature... You've widened your eye sight. That makes it all the hard to avoid my gaze." He created Kage Bunshins (Shadow Clones) and attacked from a different direction with each. Itachi himself stayed behind, and then formed several handseals. "Water Style: Water Vortex Jutsu." The water from before lasped around him, waiting to be unleashed.

"You've run into a corner. If you attack my clones, you'll be crushed by my technique. If you attack me, you be barraged by my clones; sending you into Tsukiyumi. Chose wisely."

[Ellie]

"PHEONIX!!!", Ellie screamed inside of her head. Pheonix looked around takeing in everything. She narrmowed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"ELLIE!!!! PHEONIX!!!", Sky screamed. Pheonix let out the breath. Instead of the normal fire, the large red Dragon breathed ice. Freezing everything in site. Pheonix roared and with a flash Ellie appeared on the floor. Looking a little woozy.

Itachi was surprised. He couldn't escape, and his clones were obvously dissapated. The water behind him bonded with his body, and he was frozen as well. His face showed his wide-eyed expression. There was only one thing left to do.

Alex shifted his hand downward, collecting energy for the Chidori. Only this time... it seemed more powerfull. The lightning was now silver, surrounded in a black aura. The noised it made was now a loud chirping, rather then his standard Chidori. He launched himself at Itachi, and shattered him with the attack.

"That's it, for you."

[Ellie]

Ellie fell over. Something was wrong with that last ice breath. True Pheonix had not preformed one since before she was sealed, but that couldnt be the reason. Kyo looked like he was about to pee himself. First Nina, then Ellie. Sky stood stunned at Alexs attack. She gaped at the attack and shieled herself. "That should finish him.", she said sure it was over. Shed never seen Alex with so much power.

Alex stood there with the same palm he used to shatter Itachi with. He panted for a few moments, then stood normally. His transformation undid itself, and the boy turned to the rest of his friends to help them. Sephiroth and the others were all ready assisting the wounded. Cloud put the Buster Blade in it's resting spot and stood with his arms crossed.

"... Only one more floor."

[Ellie]

"Yeah...", Sky muttered. She looked at Nina and heled her Staff over her. Her small wounds healed, and she woke.

Nina blinked for a second, "What the hell?", she muttered not remebering much of what just happened. "Why the hell am i on your back!?!?!", she hooted. Kyo dropped her. She saw Ellie. "ELLIE!?!? WHAT THE HELLS GOING ON!?!?!!?", she screeched looking aroun quite angerily at the group.

Sephiroth sighed in relief. "Ellie released a massive ice attack at the enemy. Considering the force of the attack, I'm guessing that the strain was also massive." He pointed to the glacier of Itachi's non-released Water Jutsu.

[Ellie]

Nina looked around. "Shit...", she said half heartedly. Kyo picked Ellie up on his back.

"Theres no time to go back...We have to keep moving. Ill just carry her.", Kyo muttered.

Sephiroth nodded, as he shifted to the staircase. Alex was already making his way up, knowing full well of what was up ahead. "You'd best prepare yourselves. It's either do, or die." Sephiroth reminded. Cloud nodded, as did Vivi.

"We'd better catch up to Alex."

[Ellie]

As they climbed the stairs Ellie shifted on Kyos back. He blushed, but kept going. She was still out cold. Her tried wakeing her several times. Sky admitted a healing charm onto everyone. It worked pretty well considering it was a lower level spell. But it was all she knew. They headed up the stairs with everyone. Nina walked beside Alex.

Alex glanced at Nina for a brief moment, then continued to look ahead. The further they got up the stairs, the faint sound of organ-playing could be heard. It'd definatly be the end of the line for them, the end of the loooong path that they traveled.

"I can barely wait..." Alex said through his teeth.

[Ellie]

"Me either...", muttered Nina. They were up the stairs now, and at a door. Ellie however was still knocked out. They couldnt stir her.

The organ got louder and louder as they went up. The tune that played seemed gloomy- like it would consume the audience in an endless sea of darkness. But they wer almost to the top. And soon, one way or the other , it will all be over.

The heros reached the top at last. The roof dome was open, the sky growing dark. A man with a Black and White Robe in similar design to the organization uniform was playing the intrament. The Other Cloaked-man stood beside him, his face masked with an insignia marking on the forehead.

" Dad! " Alex yelled out. The organ-player halted, and turned around. It was Xemnas, without a doubt.

"Welcome. I see you had your fill of Kimimaro and Itachi." Xemnas said slyly.
