The World that Never Was:Climax

Alex sweat-dropped. It was almost funny, or it would have been. Xemnas just stood, looking down on his victims. There was a small sign of insanity in his eyes, but it was as if he was in complete controll of everything, including his madness. It had to end, though. Alex felt as if he could go another minute like this.

Then, suddenly, Kalad spoke out to him. 'Alex, there is a way to incorporate one of my techniques into your Chidori. It could possibly even end this fiend in one final shot!' Alex's eyes shot open. He rplied internally back to him. 'Well? I'm all ears.'. 'I can pour the energy used in 'Judgement Volt', the move origionally used with your weapon. By doing this, it will greatly enhance the power of your Chidori, and finish it all!' Alex held out his palm once more, as he formed the Chidori. "It ends... NOW."

It was then, that Kalad applied his own energy to the Chidori, making it shine a brilliant shade of gold. With this attack fully prepared, he lunged for Xemnas one final time, as if nothing could hold him back.

Xemnas laughed. "Foolish child. You've already tried this!" He sent a single javlin at the boy, but Alex just plain didn't give. The javlin was now planted in Alex's chest, the boy himself still running. Xemnas, looked at alex with bewilderment, and then with fear. It wasn't long before Alex and Kalad shot out the Chidori-combonation bearing hand, and cut through his chest, even with the armor.

"CHIDORI: NAGASHI (Current)"

The electricity zapped his internal organs, making him near-death. "How... d-did you...?"

Ellie lay ther flat on her back. She was human again. She sat up looking horror stuck. "ALEX!!!!", she screamed. It was ear piercing. Her eyes got wide. Nina and Sky froze. They could hardly believe what was happening. Kyo kicked some rubble out of the way and ran to Ellie. "What the hell...", he muttered.

It was now time for the final move, that would end it all. The Heart-Shaped moon in the sky, seemed to open. With Xemnas still in his grasp, Alex flew up into the sky. "This is it, you bastard. You wanted Kingdom Hearts so badly, you used my father, you sicked your minions on us, you even used me against my friends. Well..." Xemnas could barely even keep his eyes opened, let alone talk back. Once he was close enough, Alex stopped, and chucked the antagonist into the rip in the moon. "HERE YOU ARE."

With this, the evil nobody was sealed inside of the Kingdom Hearts he so desprately wanted. His look of fear never diminished from the time he was sticken, to the time he was thrown. As this happened, Cid's evil aura seemed to evaparate out of his body, which Sephiroth swiftly disposed of.

All that was left, was to fly back to his friends, and see his father. Only, he was all out of energy; that last blow took a lot out of him, not to mention the javlin still stuck inside of him. So, he did the only thing he could do. He fell.

[Ellie]

One the ground everything seemed as if it had come to a halt. Things moved in slow motion as Alex fell from so high up. Everyone started to scramble twords eachother. Kyo tried to pull Ellie but she wouldnt budge. She sat frozed in fear. Pheonix motionless inside her. "ALEX!!!!!", came a blood curteling scream from behind them. It was a strange unfirmiluar voice. Nina whirled around (this is all happening at once btw) Sky had dissapeared. The wind became angry. From where Alex was falling-- only yards before her were to hit the ground-- a purple flash seemed to engulf him.

"Sky....?", Ellie barely murmered. It was the only noise within what seemed to be miles.

As Alex landed safely on his back, he morphed back into his normal state. He was surprised that he was surrounded by a brief purple light, but the energy felt familuar. It was Sky's.

Cid knelt down on his knees, being released from the mako-poisoning at last. He looked around, in a bewildered expression. He saw Sephiroth, Nina, Alex, everyone. "W-where... where the hell am I!?" Cid said, getting back on his feet. Sephiroth chuckled as he seithed his sword.

"You're back." he answeared simply. Sephiroth made a gesture over to Alex and the others so that Cid and Alex could both see each other more clearly.

Alex moved his head over, to see that his father was back to normal again. He smiled as tears of joy started rolling down his face. "Dad...!"

[Ellie]

(Ha this should be fun. This is the first time since SOLDIER Chronicles Nina or Cid have seen each other.)

The purple light around both Alex and Sky seemed to evaporate. Sky blinked and looked around. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "Alex...are...", she trailed off as he said, "Dad..."

Nina ran to Ellie in a heart beat. "ELLIE!", she yelled flopping onto the ground and hugging her. They both started crying. Kyo stood where he was looking at Cid, then at Sky and Alex, then at Ellie and Nina. He sighed in relief. "Aunt Nina? Alx...is Alex...", she muttered. Nina didnt respond and only heled her tighter.

Cid was baffled. He didn't know what to say. His son was on the floor, bleeding. Nina, who Cid hadn't seen in some time, was hugging another young girl- probally her neice judging from 'Aunt'. To top it all off, he felt like he'd just woken up from a long, long dream. Though, he couldn't speak. All he did, was walk over to his son, and pull the javlin out of him. He knelt down, and said, "Hiya... Son."

Alex smiled, and chuckled. "You're... really back... I'm so glad..." The boy said, just before losing conciousness.

Cloud looked around, and seathed his sword. He couldn't help but feel the warm radiation from the scene around him. "I guess that settles that..." he said to himself.

[Ellie]

"ALEX!!!", Sky croaked through tears. "Someone!! Please do something!!! we cant just leave him like this!!! HES DYING!!!!"

[cosmicbreaker]

Sephiroth looked over. "Oh, right. I'll be right there." he said, casually. He nodged Cid over a bit, and began closing the wounds in Alex's flesh. He also began reparing torn muscules and a fractured wrist.

"There... All better." Sephiroth mumbled, standing up. Alex had a more peaceful look on his face now, even though he was still unconcious.

[Ellie]

Skys mouth hung a little. Nina looked up. "Why the hell didnt you just dothat to begin with?!", she snapped, but smiled. Everything was going to be ok.

((Now what?))

Sephiroth laughed to himself. "No reason." Though, he couldn't help but notice Sky's affection.

Cid picked Alex up and swung him over his back. "I know it's sorta sudden, but you guys should stay the night. There's a guest quarters on the base level. C'mon, it's the least I can do!" he offered. Everyone seemed to accept, on hopped on board the elevator.

[Ellie]

((AHHHHHHHHH! NO!!! *DIES*))

Kyo carried Ellie to the guest quaters while Nina and SKy helped eachother. It seemed like a dream. Everthing that had just happened. Nina looked around. Sky and Ellie seemed to be asleep. She didnt know where Kyo had gone. Probably to find a different bed. She smiled. And her eyes closed. She was exausted. This was going to be the bet sleep shed ever had. Butitwouldnt be long untill morning robbed her of it.

Cid layed Alex down carefully on the bed, and turned around to see Sephiroth standing next to him. "Damn, where'd you come from?" he whispered. Sephiroth smiled, and replied "Want to hear a bedtime story? The main character is awfully familiar." he joked. For the next hour, the silver-haired man told Cid the long story of what happened up to this point.

The next morning, the group woke, and Cid had them all meet at the front gate. It was somewhat... quiet. Cid stepped forward, and broke that silence.

"I heard the whole story from Seph last night..." he paused, and bowed his head. "Thank you all... So much."

Alex was still a little dazed from what happened yesterday, but for the most part, was pretty upbeat. "...I'm pretty sure we're all glad to have you back, Dad." the boy said in earnest. Sephiroth nodded.

[Ellie]

Nina grinned from ear to ear. Cid hadnt said much to her yet. She questioned weather he knew who she was. Itd been so long. "Cid...? YOU IDIOT! Man its just seemes like we're always gettin' ya outta trouble!", she said wildly. She was of course being scarcastic. She paused. "We're REALLY glad to have ya back old friend."

Ellie, Kyo, and Sky didnt really know what to say. They'd never met him.

Cid grinned in releaf. "Ok, good! Thanks for clearing that, Nina." he laughed. But then, he remembered the news he was to deliver. He cleared his throat, and spoke again. "But, there's also some bad news... We're, rather I'm going to have to do a lotta reconstruction and paperwork to get Lindblum back to normal again... In other words, I'm going to have to go back to work. And I don't have a lot of spare time, so... I'm going to have to ask you guys to leave the area." he sighed.

Cloud looked at Cid, and scoffed. "Whatever. I was planning on getting back to Midgar anyways. I'm sure Tifa's worried." He took out a device from his pocket, and pushed a button. In a matter of seconds, a sleek black motorcycle came roaring up to him. He hopped on, gave a 'See ya' motion with his hand, and rode away.
