Savanna Raines strayed away from her pack one afternoon. The house was too quiet. Hardly anyone was home. That was the moment that she knew that she could venture out into the real world for a moment. She opened her window and hopped out. Savanna walked as quickly as she could and breathed very little. She didn't want to give herself away to anyone in her pack that might stop her. Timothy Raines, her older half brother and pack leader, wouldn't have been happy with her. She was young and a fairly new wolf, but she knew that the next full moon was months away. Why would anyone not welcome her?
To the eyes of the public, she was just a normal girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. It sounded stereotypical, but that was the way that she was born. Savanna was different than the rest of her family. Her mother, not Timothy's mother, but hers, had blonde hair. Her father had blue eyes. She was the first blondie in the family and she loved it. However, Savanna was a tad different than other blonde girls. She was sporty and beautiful. Not to mention she knew how to fight if it came down to it. Savanna wanted to go out and explore the world. Perhaps even meet someone; not necessarily in a romantic way, but she wanted to mingle with people.
Was that too much to ask? Savanna thought. She knew that her pack leader, Timothy Raines wouldn't be happy with her, but at that moment, she didn't care. Savanna missed society. She went into the inner city of the Alpha City, where she used to live, and explored all the little shops that it had to offer. Once she was finished with the shops, her stomach growled. Savanna was famished. She found a cute, little Mongolian BBQ restaurant and licked her lips. Savanna walked inside and noticed the bar right away.
She was just barely shy of being 21, but not quite there yet. She made her way to a booth where she could enjoy her meal. Savanna sat down at the booth in a way where she wouldn't have minded if someone else decided to join her. She patiently waited for the waitress or waiter to assist her. The restaurant was fairly busy and loud. There was plenty of laughter, glasses clinking, and knives scraping against the plate. Savanna smiled and inhaled the smell of good food. She wanted a steak. A large, freaking steak. She looked around for a waitress or waiter while she waited on services to arrive.
