As the two walked, Tonny listened to Blade's response. She burst out chuckling. Tonny had laughed at him. His words made her heart at ease. She realized that she had laughed at his face and she hadn't meant any offense. Tonny turned to him and said,

"I'm sorry. I don't mean to laugh at you, but join the club. The natives hate me too. You can witness their hate at the restaurant." She paused. "There are some people who are nice to me though." Tonny shrugged. "I don't know. I guess we play the cards we're dealt and we try to make the best of it."

She had always believed that. Tonny had always believed that whatever hand fate had dealt her she had to play it and there was no changing it. She looked at Blade and smiled. "You didn't upset me. You've been kind to me." She looked ahead and the restaurant was close in range. She turned to Blade and said, "You starved?"

[Midnight]

Bllade had rasied an eye when Tonny had laughted at him for it had confused him slightly and he nodded he's head at her words."Oh that's ok I suspose...I had it coming"He added as he had contuined to walk and looked back at her after he looked behind him"Well I suspose your right....I been in a lot of weird siturations in my day so I need to get used to that.I just hate being dumbed on some strange area I know nothing about is all."He added as he smirked at her last question.

"Well of corse I am hungry I haven't ate in like two days I think....was in the middle of travling when I ended up here.....funny how the gods like to play tricks on you like that...huh..."He asked her."And I am glad I made you happy....besides your a nice person it is what you deserve"He added.

As soon as Blade had finished what he was saying, Tonny suddenly felt vulnerable. Why? No one had ever been this kind to her straight off the bat. Normally, people had caught her scent right away and discriminated against her without even giving her a chance. Tonny immediately put a mental wall up to conceal her heart and her feelings. Why had this stranger made such a huge impact on her already? Tonny wondered. She turned to Blade and smiled.

"Well, we're here." She said, changing the subject.

She looked at the restaurant and smiled, relieved. This would give them a chance to bond over food and drinks. It would take the edge off and the awkward silence of just the two of them. Tonny remembered one of her beliefs; that you didn't need a soul mate. One could survive perfectly fine without a soul mate and that's exactly what she had intended to do. She hadn't needed anyone.

Did she? Tonny wondered.

[Midnight]

She got quiet again and Blade couldn't help,but wonder whatshe was thinking about as he had followed her to the restrant.He smirked at her a bit when she had said this was it and he nodded he's head and pushed past her to open the door for her.

Besides if people around here hated her might as well piss them off more by being nice to the one thing they hated.Besides he knew as soon as he walked into this place they would smell what he was easier then being out in the woods masked by the forest smells. Sure it made him nervious a bit,but he shrugged he's shoulders and knew he had to relax~I'm a fucking trainer anyways I should just chill the hell out~He muttered to himself in he's head.

"After you"He told Tonny as he held the door open for her.He couldn't wait to settle down and have a drink or two and some nice warm food in he's belly.

When Blade had opened the door for her, Tonny was surprised at his kindness and gentleman etiquette. Her cheeks felt warm and she was positive that her temperature revealed a slight blush to him. Tonny put up mental walls immediately and obtained her hard ass attitude. She was not going to fall for this guy's act. She wasn't even sure if it was an act or not. Tonny realized that she over thinking and walked into the restaurant.

Her feelings were mixed when she stepped inside because she felt as though all eyes were on her. Fortunately, Tonny came here enough so that she didn't have to feel completely alienated. When Tonny entered the establishment, she was greeted with loud chatter and music. It was almost difficult to hear the person next to you. In the front there was a couple of benches against the wall for waiting parties to be seated and in front of you, there was a bar.

It was the typical steak restaurant on Earth, but for monsters here in this universe. In the back room there was a room separate just for raw meats and blood. That room was for anyone who had the hunger for something to tear apart. It was a little nice establishment. There were even pool tables and Tonny knew her games. She smiled at Blade and said,

"Well what do you think?"

The crowds consisted of red necks and werewolves. It was as if the town suddenly turned into a small town and all the country folk were here. Tonny knew that if Blade had been rich, he probably wouldn't have liked this place very much. Tonny loved the place and grew very fond of the people, regardless if they didn't like her or whatever. She tucked a strand of her black hair behind her ear and a waitress came up to them.

"Just two for you guys?" She asked.

The waitress was one of her friends and always gave Tonny a good table away from the haters. The waitress had an hour glass body with a nice set of girls on her. Her uniform was a red button down shirt and a black skirt. She had red highlights and a name tag that read: Heidi. Tonny smiled at her friend and nodded.

"Yes please." Tonny told her. She turned to Blade and said, "Follow us."

[Midnight]

Blade couldn't help,but smirk at her blush when she had seemed to have let her gaurd down when they came into the restrant and then quickly put on her sheidl as soon as they wore inside.

He was impressed by it all.Why put one up if people gave you a hard time anyways.He thought him on the other hand was just in a new place so careing a little about how people reacted towards you was right on e's mind,but he's mood.....was completely different then he's thoughts.

He didn't mind for mischeif....in a new place that was.

"Hmmmm it's ok I suspose.....just looks like a normal red neck bar if ya ask me,but I haven't been to much I just seen some on tv once and my cusion or something like that talked about it"He added as a waitress cae up and he smirked a bit to hmself as he nodded to Tonny and decided to follow them.

"Can't wait to eat though...could care less about anything else for right now....if ya don't mind me admitting that"He added to Tonny.

Tonny giggled at his comment and shook her head. "Not at all," she paused and added: "Well if you're so hungry, let's eat then. I could eat a horse." She smiled and walked over to the table.

She sat down and waited for Blade to sit with her. She actually liked him. She wasn't sure why, but her heart was set on this. Tonny felt indifferent next to him. He made her feel as if she were normal and quite ordinary; this was okay with Tonny. All her life she had been told that she was special and she hadn't wanted to be special. She wanted to be normal and boring. It was a cliché, but the special ones barely had a life. They were too busy trying to defend their lives.

Tonny had to defend herself all her life and she was tired of it. She had wanted a break. She wanted to be normal.

Was that too much to ask the Gods? Tonny wondered. Was there even a God? She pushed these thoughts away because she had decided that she had not had enough to drink yet for this kind of thinking. She hadn't even started to drink yet so why was she thinking like this? Normally she was strong and secure, but around Blade she felt like she was a damsel in distress and she wasn't sure if she was okay with this or not. Tonny pushed these thoughts away and turned to Blade,

"Come sit with me." She invited him to dinner.

[Midnight]

Blade nodded he's head to her and sat down at the table with her."Yes I am starving from travling....,but I can wait till the food gets on the table"He joked and looked around once more and then tilited he's head at Tonny slightly.

That look she ket giving him.He knew that look .It was a look he seen many times before,but never for him. He had been to much of an odd ball and a new trainer for the castle before he just up and left before he had a change to even find someone....it was a crule joke he's family members played on him and somehow he couldn't think straight if he had enjoyed it or not. He shook he's head at the thought and winked at Tonny.

"Well if all these thoughts are swimming around in your head.....why don't you just say it"He told her. He knew it was a bold move,but in a new place with probably the only ally he had right now.He thought why the hell not. Besides it might be fun getting around to finding a girlfriend. Then he thought about the gods....would they be so crule to let it happen then dumb him back home alone...or in yet an other world.He rubbed he's chin at the thought.~Damn basterds anyways~He thought.

Then an other thought hit him~Is this who you sent me for......or is this by chance that she found me?~He asked them in he's head.~No matter....she's still cute to me...so why not right......just don't screw me over ok.....it'll mean a lot to me~He added in he's head before he decided to play dumb and pick up a menu before she even had a chance to get a word in. A sligh smirk on he's face hidden behind the menu.

~Shouldn't act so coy....~He told himself.

Tonny's jaw dropped and her eyes lit up with surprise. It was as if he could read her mind! Her heart skipped a beat. He was bold and not just to anyone, but to her. No one ever had the guts to be bold to her. At this moment, she truly felt ordinary and blessed. All of a sudden, she knew what was happening. She was blushing and smiling at him.

She was enjoying herself. No, Tonny mentally told herself and put up her guard. She was not going to fall for some stranger and get hurt again. Every time life had started to be good, something terrible would happen, and at the worst possible moment. Tonny picked up her menu and opened it so that the menu covered her face. She sighed, pretending to be bored, and said,

"Give me one good reason why I should." Tonny joked. "I mean, I barely know you." She paused. "So why should I trust you?"

She was playing hard to get and not at the same time. She thought of it as protecting herself, but Tonny knew that it appeared differently to others. Still...She had to be careful. Even though her heart was telling her to run to him and wrap her arms around him.

She felt safe around this man. For some odd reason, she felt like she could trust him. However, her mind had been so traumatized over the years that it was screaming at her: NO! Don't you dare! You can't take anymore pain! And then a part of her was saying, He seems like a good soul. But would you ever show him your dark side?

The part of you that enjoys pain, misery, and sadness...She was the one girlfriend that others had called, 'psycho'. She wasn't necessarily psycho, she was just...Tonny self sabotaged her life and the people in her life quite often. She was actually surprised that Heidi was still her friend. Tonny had...No. Stop right there.

Tonny told herself that she was not going to go there. Tonny inhaled quietly and exhaled. She was not going to be the damsel in distress in front of Blade. She would get to know him, but if things got to close she was going to have to run.

For his safety....

Blade smirked at her as he read the menu noticing that she had did the same,but had been surpized by he's bluntness and her reaction more or less told him everything he needed to know.

"Well you did scope me up and bring me here.....you did tell me a little bit about you....besides why invite me to dinner if you didn't trust me....deep down you know you saw something in me....and that you crave it...whatever it might be"He said as he lend over and grabbed the back end of the menu pushing it down so he could see her face."I mean.....I'm just some noob surrounded by a bunch of wolves.....might as well have one close to my side....right?"He asked with a smirk on he's face."So anyways what shall we get I'm starving?"He asked as he changed the subject knowing he probably made her uncomfertable,but he didn't want to push the issue.....not like he had any friends in this world....besides her...so he didn't want to ruine it.t

Tonny blushed when he grabbed her menu. She listened to his words. She had no choice, but she knew that he was right. Tonny hadn't wanted to admit it. Tonny looked at the menu and browsed through the meat selection. One of her favorite selections was a Family selection. It was meant for families, but she could eat a horse. Tonny always had a big appetite. Not only that but in this selection there was brisket, boneless wings, and ribs. For some sides there was corn bread, mashed potatoes, and chips.

"Well," Tonny said with a tone in her voice that told Blade that she hadn't cared. It was a lie. It was all a lie; the tone in her voice was lie and her nonchalant attitude was a lie. Tonny had cared, but she was afraid to let anyone see her care. Why?

Tonny had always had to be in charge. She always had to be strong and heartless. That way if anyone had hurt her, it would just be her, and in there wasn't going to be someone else's blood on her hands. She couldn't take anymore of that. It was how she had lost her mother, but she would never admit at that either.

She had a dark past. She had a rough life, but she was at peace. She was at peace, regardless if there was anyone else in her life. Tonny liked to be alone. She cleared her throat and quickly pulled herself together.

"There's this Family Selection that I always get. It has everything and the best part is that everything is cooked so delicious." Tonny told him. "This place uses the freshest ingredients and they smother it in barbecue sauce."

Blade smirked at her and her blush.He knew she couldn't hide it,but he tilited he's head at her as he knew she was thinking about the whole thing and then pointed out that she would like to get a family section."mmm sounds yummy to me,but I like to taste my meat so ask them not to put any of the bbq on mine ok..."He said as he ran a finger across her cheek slightly.

"So....anyone looking?"He asked her in a whisper it was just to see if she really cared or if she would look around to see. As of yet he haven't even bothered to look.He was half scared to and half curious as to what he might see,but he never let he's eyes leave her.

"So....am I sleeping on the floor tonight?"He asked her with an other smirk.He wondered just how long he could toy with her.He hoped she didn't mind him doing some meanlingly teaseing...or what it meaningless.He wondered then again she was cute.

Tonny blushed even more when he had touched her. She was about to smack his hand away, but he had already stopped. She had enjoyed his touch but this was all moving too fast. She had literally just met him. Tonny looked at Blade and placed her menu down very carefully. She placed her hands on the menu and said,

"No one is looking, but you are moving way too fast on me." Tonny said with a taunting, serious voice.

"Yes I want to know more about you and I do not deny that I am attracted to you, but let me just make one thing crystal clear:

I am not a whore.

I am not a woman that has sex with someone when she firsts meets them." She paused for dramatic effect. Then she grinned and held her grin for a minute or two. Then she couldn't control herself any longer and burst out laughing.

"I'm just fuckin' with ya man." Tonny sat back in the booth and giggled. She laughed a little more and looked at him. "Sorry, I'm kind of a crazy chick."

Blade had smirked at her as well and listened to her carefully and was glad that she was joking back with him.It seemed they wore both on the same page and he was glad about that."Hmmmm it's intresting no one is looking...."He adeed to her and tlited he's head."Being a rabbit I was kinda worried"He whispered to her and then smirked again."I am so glad your crazy because it if would of been any other chick they would of probably left by now....I am so glad we are on the same page....and I am glad your not a whore.....I like to work for things..."He said and rubbed he's chin slightly."But if you think I'm going to fast I can back off a little bit....just never got to that point if you know what I mean...I kinda been out of the game for a very long time now....to tell the truth."He added."But anyways order....I'm drolligng at the smell of all this food anyways"He added.

Tonny blushed and smiled at him. "Oh so we're on a date now are we?" She giggled and Heidi came up to them with a pen and paper.

"Are you ready to order?" Heidi asked her.

Tonny nodded and said, "The usual please, Heidi." She watched Heidi write it down and then her friend walked away.

Tonny had been out of the game for awhile now too but she wasn't over sharing. She hadn't had the best of luck with guys and now that she had met this guy and found out what he was...She couldn't believe it. He was a rabbit? Tonny wondered and smiled at him again.

"So you're a rabbit?" She whispered. "Then what are you doing here?"
