((you can jump in as the witch or a hunter who's in her home delivering the letter, either one will work, enjoy! )) The huntress walked into her small home that was on the outskirts of a urban city in Washington State. The woman hadn't wanted anyone to know that she was here. You see, this woman was different. She had been born from a bloodline of legendary hunters. The women in this bloodline were generally more powerful than the men in the family and that was just one of the reasons why she hadn't wanted anyone to know that she was there. Plus, she was on a very different target this time. The young woman had always been used to killing vampires, destroying their souls, and such. Since, vampires had no soul. Her job was to destroy the demon completely so that the demon could no longer infect anyone. The woman had believed that everything was black and white. There were no such things as a "good" bad guy. Not ever since her previous lover... She shook those tingly feelings off along with the memories and focused on the task at hand. She knew that this time it would be different for her. This time, the target was different because essentially the target was human. This time her mentor had wanted her to kill a witch. When the young woman had gotten home and opened the door, there was yellow-manilla envelope on the floor a bit away from her door. It had been labeled in black ink: Alina Moore. Huh, Alina had thought in curiousity. She wonder who this was from. It hadn't had the same signature as her Mentor's so it had to be from someone else, but she could tell this was someone from the hunter's group. There was her mission. The woman walked to the envelope and picked it up. She turned it around and opened it. Her target's name was...

Daria's cold hands gripped the last of the red rock colored powder otherwise known as the crushed wings of a moth. Her dim gray eyes bore into the book the lay open in front of her. A witch wasn't a witch without her beloved spell book. Though she was plenty skilled to do her own, she knew it was far safer to go off of written recipes she knew would work.
Carefully, she sifted the powder into a glass jar that already had a thin layer of venom from a black widow. It reacted to the powder turning the liquid a dark shade of red before neutralizing to clear. Daria smiled, always please by what she could do with the simplest of ingredients. The two together made the perfect repellent to temporarily blind someone.
Why would she want to use such a thing? Being a witch these days was anything but easy. There was always a challenge. Always the chance to grow. Learn that the world wasn't the easiest place to live in. Yes, she was young, but yes, she had seen and done a lot in her time. It was necessary to her survival in the world. That was just the way things were.
Carefully she filled several vials with the liquid and placed them in her sack. She no longer had a home to belong to. She didn't stay anywhere for long. She took in a deep breath, relaxing. "That should do for a few days," she said, forcing herself to be satisfied with what was. She stared down at her book that lay open in front of her. Most of the spells and potions she had written herself, though many were written before her, passed down through her family. Both good and bad spells. Her line had gone down many paths, good, evil, back to good, back to evil, now it was only a matter Daria herself to decide what path it would be that she would follow...

Her target's name was Daria. There was no last name on file, just a photograph.
The witch was beautiful but she had wondered why she was just now executing creatures that had the potential of being human. Was it because she had grown as a huntress? Alina had liked to think her ablities were the reason why she had been given an Upper Level target.
The huntress lived alone to prevent her from forming any relationship with anyone. Yes it had been a lonely life, but Alina had given up her own race after what had happened to her. Alina shrugged her thoughts off and pushed them to the side of her mind. She walked to her kitchen and opened the freezer. Alina had heated up a frozen dinner in the microwave.
She hadn't really known how to cook. She could cook the basics, but nothing fantastic. Alina hummed a tune and opened the microwave. She pulled out her dinner and had walked to the living room with the meal in her right hand. There was a meal stand in front of her couch and she placed the meal on the surface of the table.
Alina turned on the television and watched some stupid reality show. She had actually rather enjoyed television. It was one of the few things that her kind had created that was actually good. Alina ate her meal and then decided that she had wanted to study the file of Daria some more. Alina turned down the television's volume and opened the file. What was so dangerous about this witch? Alina had wondered.

Daria knew she was dangerous, the fact alone that even she didn't whether or not to chose the path of evil or the path of pureness was beyond her. She didn't know who she was. She had always been town with her family. Half wanted her one way while the other wanted her another.
She knew it was time to get going again. The question was where would she head now. Could she find peace. Of all creatures, she had at least thought that her kind would be easily concealed. At least it seemed that way for a very long time. Now that wasn't the case. She had only just escaped her coven to get away from the pressure they lay on her to change to what they wanted. All she wanted was to find herself on her own.
Daria looked up into the bright sky and sighed. She would wait to travel till night. As much as part of her wanted to be good and on the light side, she couldn't help but feel at most comfort in the dark. She touched the crescent moon amulet that lay neatly between her breasts, and traced the shape gently with her fingers. The moon brought her power. Made her feel strong. Beneath the moonlight, she was dangerous.

After Alina was done reading the file, she had decided to seek out the witches of hunters, also known as the MoonWake WOH. The MoonWake coven had been with the human hunters for centuries. Each hunter had their own assigned witch; the witches were cooperative because if they weren't, that group wouldn't have the protection from the hunters. The hunters and the witches of MoonWake had an aggreement.
The witches followed orders and obeyed the humans without question and in return, the MoonWake witches were on the "Untouchable" list from any other human hunters associated with Alina's hunter group. The MoonWake witches coven were not able to hunt other creatures as well, not unless the hunters had informed them to extinguish a life. The MoonWake coven was basically owned by hunters, but they coven was able to practice magic freely without fear of execution thanks to Alina's hunter group.
Alina walked into her bedroom and changed into a nightgown that she had obtained from her closet. Alina picked up the black phone that was on her nightstand and dialed her personal witches' number. The witches' name was Spell Girk and she was rather a talented witch within the coven. She was damn good at finding people and with every pay check, Alina had offered her five percent, which was not bad considering they were at different statuses. She listened to the phone ring and then a voice had answered.
"Hello?" a female's voice had answered.
"Hello Spell, its me." Alina had told her.
Spell sighed. "Let me guess, another target?"
"Another target," Alina said and grinned. "But ya know there's something different about this one..."
"What is that?" Spell asked her.
"This time, the target is a...witch..." Alina said with an evil smile and paused.
There was silence for a good minute or so before Spell had said something. Alina had listened and she had sounded frantic, but she had reassured her that her coven was safe and that it wasn't anyone inside MoonWake. Alina had ordered a location spell and Miss Girk had agreed to cast the spell. This location spell was for Daria. Miss Alina's hunt began first thing when she had the information.

Daria took off in the night. Strengthened by the moon that shinned above her. It was the only time she felt safe. The only time she was strong enough to protect herself from any harm. The time she could cloak herself and become the night with a spell she had written herself.
With dark brings night, the moon shall rise, to hide me from thy wandering eyes, cloak thee in nights darkened womb, till daylight breaks, let dark consume!
She said her spell aloud in whisper as she fastened her coat to her body for warmth. She would head north, where she would rendezvous with Calhan. A nomad Wizard who she was hoping to learn from. Daria worried though. They had never met in person. They had only talked through Reflection. Calling through any object that can reflect an image. Who needed phones and internet connection when you could look into water or a mirror and talk to anyone you wanted.
Daria scoffed at the idea as she thought about it. Ridiculous, nothing she would waste her time on. She mentally shook herself as she remembered what the purpose of her travels was.
"Calhan" she said the name aloud, lost in her own thoughts. He was possibly the answer to her discovery of the path she would chose.
((I'm really proud of that spell lol, I still got it! It's been too long lol))

((dude that spell was awesome! I wanted to post yesterday, but my bf dropped my mini laptop and the laptop had decided to be evil :/ But it has been too long, I'm so glad you're back!))
The huntress hung up with Miss Girk and finished her meal. She turned off the television and walked to the kitchen with her empty tray in her hand. Alina threw out her trash and looked at the place. She had loved her house and the kitchen was one of the best things about it. The kitchen was actually a bit old, one could tell from the furniture, but Alina had enjoyed it.
Old wood meant that it had character. The cabinets and the dining table were both cherry wood, as was the floor. The table was small though; it only held two people. Alina wasn't one for company much these days. The huntress walked to the basement door and opened it with her hand. There was a light switch on the wall at the top of the stairs and her fingers flicked the switch on, turning on the light.
The light had just lit the stairs though; Alina had to walk downstairs in order to fill the room with light. As she had walked, the stairs creeked and whined at her, begging her to stop walking. Alina knew the stairs would be fine and kept walking until she had reached the bottom. Her feet pressed upon the basement floor and she looked up. Above her was a string.
Alina had pulled the string and light flooded the unfinished basement. There were weapons everywhere from swords to guns to bow and arrows; Alina had the works. For hours she had cleaned her weapons, taking great care in them.
She worked diligently in silence and thought about nothing. It was her place to escape the world. Alina had finished up sharpening some of her weapons and loaded her guns. Now, it was time for bed.
Miss Moore walked to the stairs and turned off the pull-string light and walked up the stairs. Once again, the stairs had complained. Alina shook her head. She had needed to get those repaired soon.
The huntress turned off the other light and closed the basement door behind her. She had turned off all the lights in the house and locked the place up.
She was grateful that it her house had been a ranch. Alina walked to her bedroom and turned on the light to the left of the door on the inside wall. Her room was a fresh-set of white paint and it had reminded her of a hotel room it was so neat and clean.
A hotel room that had been cleaned of course. Alina walked to her bathroom, which was inside her room. The huntress preferred things that were needed to be close to her; even the bathroom.
Alina took a long bath. It was one of her rituals before she went out on a hunt. She thought of the water like it was cleansing her soul; a clean slate. She washed away her body and shaved her legs. Now, she was ready to begin her journey.
After she had slept of course. Alina dried off and brushed her hair, then she had turned off the bedroom lights, shut her door, and climbed into bed.
She hadn't gone to sleep yet though; her mind was still thinking about her next target...

Daria felt safe under the watch of the darkness, cloaked and safe from any harm to come and find her. She no longer wasted her time with worrying. She saved that for the daylight.
Exhausted she leaned against a large oak. She coaxed herself, whispering a silent spell to sooth her aching body. She specialized in healing. And found the task easy to do even in her weakest moments. For that she was thankful.
She thought about it more. Was that what made her dangerous? Self healing was a power she found easier at night but that didn't mean she couldn't do it if her life truly depended on it. She looked around her surroundings. There was water near by.
She pushed herself from the tree and headed towards it. She needed to know if the rendevous was still to be as planned.
Looking into the water, she kneeled at its side and leaned over towards it. Only lit by the moonlight. "Calhan." she said his name aloud and watched as the water shimmered to show his face.
His green eyes were the first to appear, boring into hers. He smiled warmly at her.
"Why hello there." he said smugly.
"Are we still on to meet tomorrow night." Daria asked trying her best to let her words carry to him calmly.
"Of course. I'll be waiting for you at the Wallstreet Cafe."
Daria nodded. "Perfect." she smiled. The water shimmered back and she was alone. She closed her eyes. Now it was time to rest and make it through another day.

The thought of the witch had made her fall asleep. She wasn't able to think about an attack move. Her body was telling her it was time for bed. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Alina had a strange dream that night...
Her feet walked upon a forest floor; the strength of her feet had destroyed the leaves beneath her. The moonlight flooded the grass, almost drowning it. Everything seemed so mystical and Alina hated it. She hated anything that had seemed like make-blieve. Anything that wasn't human that looked like a human had no rights in her mind. The non-humans were monsters and that was all those creatures were going to be.
There were howls in the distance which had scared her but it had not frightened her. Alina knew that she could take care of herself but still...Something hadn't felt quite right. She shook her head and her hair caressed her skin. Alina looked up at the sky and the moon had disappeared. It was completely black now and the trees were hard to see. It was as if they had blended in with the night and became friends.
What the hell was going on? Alina had wondered.

Sleep overcame Daria, she felt safe knowing she was protected in the night. Though her body could never fully relax. She leaned against a tree tensed up. Subconsciously ready in case anything tried to disturb her.
Exhaustion won her over. When she woke as the sun was peeking over the trees, she moaned. The morning had a bad habit of coming sooner than she wanted. She mentally shook herself as she sat up. I there was any chance of making it to the cafe on time, she would need to get going. There was no time to lose. Calhan would be waiting. Her only chance to figuring out what she was going to become.

The forest trees grabbed her and wrapped their vines around her like snakes. Alina's eyes widened in fear. She was so scared. She couldn't see her attacker and the vines were tough, strong. Alina shook her head and closed her eyes. The next thing that she knew, she was awake, and sitting up in her bed. She shook her head and the telephone rang. Alina jumped and her heart skipped a beat.
"Dear God." Alina said.
She threw off the blankets and got up. She walked into the kitchen and picked up the phone. It was Miss Girk and she had a location for her. Alina shuffled through her kitchen until she had found a pad of paper and a pen. Alina wrote down the coordinates and then told the witch good bye. She was ready for the hunt. After a little bit more rest of course.

As the sun rose higher and higher in the sky, Daria made her way. Her ears pricked at the sound of running water. THough it was still early and she still had much traveling to do, she thought it'd be best to check in with Calhan. Perhaps he was nearer than originally planned.
She changed her path and began walking towards the water. Kneeling down on her knees and leaning over the blue crystal water she pictured Calhans face in her mind. The water shimmered and his face appeared.
Calhan smiled at her, looking much more handsome in the sunlight. Daria couldn't imagine how much better he could look.
"Just making sure our paths are planning to meet at the spot as planned." Daria said doing her best to hold her best composure.
Calhan smiled, "I am on a train and will be closer to you than planned. I am indeed glad you called."
"Should I stay put?" Daria asked suddenly concerned.
"No continue on your path, i'll find you." he said and gave one last smile before the water shimmered back into place.
Daria stared at the water, a rainbow fish swimming beneath it. She sighed, the urgency she had was gone.

Alina had went back to bed and slept for a few more hours. When she awoke, she wasn't exhausted. That had been good news for her. Alina had went to her basement and grabbed her weapons. She hadn't grabbed all of them of course; she had too many so she had just chosen her favorites. Alina went back upstairs and took a quick shower. She got dressed in her hunting outfit and smiled at herself in the mirror. She was ready. She was ready to hunt this witch.
The huntress put her weapons in her outfit and walked to the front door. There was an end table with a small bowl near the front door. Her house keys were in the bowl. Alina walked out the front door and shut it behind her. She locked the front door and started to walk when she had realized that she had left the pad with the coordinates inside her house. Alina chuckled at herself and shook her head. She walked back inside and into the kitchen where she had picked up the pad with the coordinates.
Now she was ready to hunt this witch.
Alina walked out her front door and shut it behind her once more. She locked the door and started to head in the witches' location.
