Angel looked away from his gaze. " Then why have i only seen pain, death, and suffering with this gift" she said the word like it was impossible to think of her power like that.
Brendon kissed her forehead. " So are ya still jealous?"

Felix looked at her, worried. "Angel," he said gently. "You can help those people. Those people might need your help....You're a wonderful person, and I don't want you to think differently."
Jennifer smirked at Brendon. "Should I be?"

Angel looked at him her eyes watering. Something about him made her feel like everything was alright. She nodded and tried a small smile.
Brendon squeezed her shoulders. " Nope you shouldn't be."

"Then I'm not," said Jennifer seriously, but with a smile.
She was happy that finally Brendon liked her. Still, her gut was telling her something was off. Was he playing her to get to Angel? Jennifer didn't know. She hoped to God that he wasn't.
Felix smiled at Angel and wiped a tear off her cheek. He held her close.
"I won't let you feel that way ever again," he vowed.

" Good." Brendon said kissing her on the forehead. He had changed his interest quickly but he had always like Jen.
Angel nodded believing him. Even though all she had on her mind was the fact that if something went wrong she would be the one to kill him and she knew she couldn't bare that.

Jennifer smiled and the bell rang. She had one more class, but she didn't want to leave. "I'll meet you after class?" she asked.
Felix looked up at the ceiling and several students flooded the hall way. Some of them looked at Angel and Felix oddly, but Felix dodged the looks.
"We should move," he whispered, not wanting to get trampled.

Brendon smiled. " Sure. Let me walk you to class?" the hall was flooded with students.
Angel nodded and got up. She tried to ignore all the feelings of concern, hate, and annoyance. She put her head down trying to concentrate on not listening to everyone's individual emotions. This is why she had to get to her classes before the halls were flooded. She was still holding onto Felix' arm.

Felix held Angel's hand. He wanted to keep her safe, and happy.
Jennifer smiled. "Sure," she said as she got up.

Angel led him outside and out of the emotional hall it was too much for her to handle and she didn't want to hurt Felix.
Brendon walked with her pushing people easily out of the way.

A freackishly tall girl with dusty brown wavy hair and chestnut eyes entered the school. She was wearing a long black tacky trench coat with black boots and a loose over sized long sleeve shirt. She was skinny, but her outward appearance looked intimidating. Chains hung from the belt loops of her pants and she was also wearing a skull hat that covered her face. Students dispersed from around her, giving her plenty of room. The girl walked down the stairs and into the office. There was absolutely no part of her skin being shown. This was required because her powers were dangerous. Her skin could generate acid if she wanted to and burn someone. Her tears were acid and there were some scars around her eyes.
Her name was Dakota Wallinger. Dakota sat down and decided to take her mask off, revealing her beautiful face. The only thing that she didn't like about it were the scars around her green eyes. Dakota sighed and then sensed that she wasn't alone. She hid her face with her hair.
Felix looked at Angel. "Are you alright?" he asked.
He spotted Dakota and wondered if she was new as well. Though, she kinda scared him.
Jennifer looked at Brendon. "Thanks for helping me get to class." she said.

Brendon smiled. " Anytime babe, see ya after." he gave her a light kiss.
Angel stared at the ground sensing the new presence. Despair filled her.

Felix looked at Angel, concerned. "Angel?" he asked gently.
He held her hand tightly. He looked at Dakota again. What was wrong with her? Felix wondered.
"Maybe you should talk to her," he whispered.
Jennifer smiled. "Bye babe," she said and walked into the classroom.

Angel felt like her skin was burning all the sudden it wasn't too bad but it did sting. She looked at Felix and to the girl and back to Felix and nodded.
Brendon walked away and back through the hall shoving through those that dared to get in his way.
Angel walked slowly and stopped still far away from the girl. " You okay...?" she asked hesitantly surprised at how weak her voice sounded.

Dokota looked at Angel, revealing her face. "Does it look like I'm okay?" she snapped.
Felix sighed heavily. Maybe she just needs friends, he thought.
Jennifer sat down and listened to her teacher.

" Doesn't feel like it." Angel mumbled becoming as upset as Dakota the girl was no doubt shy about letting her feelings unfold. Angel looked at her face and didn't flinch. She saw the scars, they looked like burns. That explained why her skin had been stinging.
As usual Brendon went to his weight lifting class to learn to control his strength. So far so good he had only broken three walls in the first ten minutes.
