Galyphora: School for the Gifted

Angel smiled lightly at him. She could feel his pain slightly and tried to ease it away. She wanted him better. The scratches on her arms were nothing compared to what he had. " Is that helping at all?" she asked as she started replacing his pain with a warm feeling.

Branden woke up and looked around. " What? what?" he said dumbfounded. He looked at Jen and stroked her cheek lightly. " Are you okay?" his eyes stared into hers.

Anna walked threw the school and soon came to her separate dorm. "Stupid school....idiot people..." And before she could vent and get violent she was pushed into her room where she flipped causing everything to burn and get dark. Her room was specially made to deal with her powers. "I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE!" she snapped as things got worse her hair whipped around her as the fire spread all across her room. A black hole or two forming on the walls causing more wind as she stood in the center of the room as her eyes where a pale white. Soon she calmed down though as she took a few deep breaths.

"Control your anger....." She whispered as she took more breaths then began to unpack. She wanted to go home and now she knew she was bond to this room no one was going to let her out not less she was guarded with big guys and tranquil darts. Anna threw her head phones on and went about working on fixing up her room so she did not have another break out and destroy more around her.

[Miss Gates]

Felix smiled at Angel and nodded. He was more concerned about her. All the power back there...That was scary. He didn't know she was capable of such power. Then again, he didn't know he was capable of such power either. Or did he? Felix wondered, but shrugged the thought away. He didn't want to dwell on the past.

"I just want you to be okay..." Felix said.

Jennifer looked at Brandon and caught her breath. She couldn't believe what she had just witnessed. Dakota had been declared as angel. How was that even possible? Jennifer wondered. Maybe her past was tainted, but not her soul. Jennifer smiled and looked at Brandon.

"I'm okay," she promised. "I just had a weird dream is all."

Angel stepped back doing a slight turn to show him her body. " I'm okay, see." She only winced a little bit but quickly went back to grab Felix's hand. She smiled lightly at him and brushed his hair off his forehead.

Brendon stared at her and smiled lightly, brushing her cheeks with his fingers.

Felix smiled at her, but looked worried when Angel had winced. He held her hand firmly. He was glad he had her and he felt more mature since he had walked into Galyphora. He felt as if he had done some good in his life and some bad. Yes the ghosts in his head would haunt him for the rest of his life, but he had Angel. Fear; fear was now in place of that quick happiness. What if Angel wanted someone else? Felix wondered. The smile on his lips slowly faded as he decided what he would do for Angel. He would let her go. Go and be happy. He briefly wonderd about Brendon and Jennifer's relationship. Felix was curious about how Jennifer would feel when would realize that she had to let Brendon go. He hoped that the two of them could work everything out. Felix wanted the best for Jennifer and Brendon. The smile reappeared on his lips as he looked up at the love of his life and brushed her hand with his thumb.

Jennifer closed her eyes a little as a peaceful smile ran across her lips. Peace. She hadn't had peace in a long time and she was glad that Brendon was still with her. She wished that she could die like him. Jennifer was terrified of age. She wondered if there was a way that both of them could stay with each other forever. That is if Brendon wanted to stay forever with Jennifer. She would talk about that later. Right now she was too weak for a deep conversation. A picture of someone turning on a light bulb popped up in Jennifer's head as she realized something. She needed to tell everyone that Dakota was an angel. Or something and that the girl was doing really well.

Dakota looked at Anna and sighed heavily. She remembered what that felt like. What being bonded to the room felt like and always being angry. She hated it. She needed to make Anna feel like she was okay. She was normal. Everyone had their problems. Dakota hoped that she could help this girl. Manifesting into a form was one of the things that angels could do. Dakota used up all the heat in the room to manifest appeared before Anna.

"Anna," Dakota said. "I am here to help you."

Angel squeezed his hand. Her heart pounded as she stared at him worried. She didn't want to lose him. She felt terrible about what had happened. All she wanted to do was protect him. And that was what she planned to do. She would keep him safe. Watch over him. Make sure no harm would ever come to him again. Seeing him like this killed her.

Brendon kept brushing her hair lightly. " Get some more sleep hun, its been a rough time for you." he said lightly.

[Miss Gates]

Felix didn't want to sleep even though he felt tired. The hospital room was oddly quiet, but comforting. He didn't know how much more noise his ears could take after everything that had just happened. The window that was facing his right side was opened slightly and a light breeze blew against his hot skin. This was good, this feeling. Felix needed to know that he could still feel because honestly the only thing he felt right now was love for Angel.

Jennifer shook her head. Of course she protested to sleep. She wanted to stay with Brendon. Her heart ached for him and he was her whole world. "But I'm not tired."

Brendon put up his hands surrendering "okay okay I won't make you sleep." he chuckled lightly and kissed her forehead. " But i'll forgive you if you do decide to get some rest."

Angel stared out the window. Her eyes only going blank for a moment. But in that moment it was like she relived everything all over again. She shuddered and winced at the pain from that small movement. She bit her lip and only wished that she could have somehow prevented it.

Things where silent for awhile and she hated the silence up until something spoke. Anna's eyes shifted to the side where Dakota was and she squeaked before she jumped and threw a fire ball it hit the wall and vanished going right threw Dakota. "Oh shnit who the heck are you?!" She snapped. "Why the heck is it I could not hit you?" Anna panicked now as she hated not knowing things. Anna was kind of inching to the door wanting out but if she did get out she would need guards. "Help me?? I do not need help..." She sneered angrily more like...defensively seeing is she had no clue what to do at this point in time.

Anna had a horrible past and her powers did not help that when she hit pre-teen years she started feeling strange her powers grew and where harder to control some parts to this day she can not control emotion being the source of her break downs. "I don't need help I just want out of here...so what if I almost killed a butt load of people because of my anger but come now why shun me and lock me up?" She asked glaring at Dakota. Anna was snooty....maybe if she found some one to trust she would not have so many problems in life.

[Miss Gates]

"Angel," Felix hoarsely said her name.

Her name was beautiful. He loved the way the syllabuls of her name caressed on his tongue. Felix didn't want to forget this moment. Everything was changing inside him; he didn't want her to see that. He felt like a vampire who had tasted human blood for the first time and now he was going insane, but the situation was entirely differnt. He could see Jankins and the woman as clearly as he could sse Angel and he didn't know what to do. Could he live with that? For the rest of his life? Felix wondered and took Angel's hand. His thumb rubbed against the front of her small hand. He was happy that he could carry this burden for her. At least he was the one insane and not her. Angel had too many things in her past already. Felix wanted to do this...For her. She alone carried his heart and if she was considering about finding someone else because of insanity then Felix would let her go. He wanted her to be happy. Always.

"No matter what happens from now on Angel," Felix said and coughed. "I love you; always. You have to remember that. Promise me. Please."

He knew his words would probably frighten her or worry her, but he wanted to tell her while he was still well...Sort of. He was in the hospital, but his mind was well.

Jennifer smiled and yawned immensley. Yes she was tired, but she wanted to be with Brendon always. She feared aging; him growing old. What would happen to her if he grew old and died? Jennifer sniffled and her eyes watered. No. She was not going to be upset now. They had won the battle; it was happy time. Happy time was to be needed now. For everyone. Everyone deserved a break. She figured that the whole school knew about what happened to her, Brendon, Felix, Dakota, and Angel. Would they be famous? Jennifer thought. Or would they be feared for the power they all held? Jennifer knew she would be looked at differently from now becausae well...She wasn't exactly human. She was half human and half ghost. A thought crossed her mind and she giggled a little. She was like Danny Phantom! Jennifer burst out laughing and then stopped. She cleared her throat.

"Hey Brendon," she said. "I'm like Danny Phantom...Half human and half ghost!"

A joke was needed right now. If anything could clear this mess up it was laughter and Jennifer was good at making Brendon smile. Even before he confessed his love for her.

Dakota rolled her eyes at Anna. "Calm down," she said. "You can't hit me because I am an Angel." She paused and blinked. She looked down at her outfit. Oh great she still looked like a gothic. How would Anna trust her without the golden clothes and a harp? Maybe a sign. She looked up at the ceiling, speaking to the Heavens.

"Thanks guys for making my afterlife so easy," Dakota inched towards Anna. "I promise even though I look like this I am a good guy. I used to go to this school. I sacrificed my life so that another girl could live. I am here to help you, please don't make this hard."

Angel stared at Felix. Her eyes glistened with a few tears. She squeezed his had. " I promise. I love you too." She said it. She smiled slightly. Though it almost felt like he was pulling the I love you so much but i'm going to leave you anyway stuff. She tried not to think of that and just tried to smile. She had only met him days ago now, but it was like she had known him all her life. Being able to feel what he felt gave her that feeling.

Brendon laughed at her joke. And smiled. He was beyond worried about her. But he wouldn't let that show. He didn't want to seem like the smothering type of boyfriend. Instead he kissed her forehead. " You really should get some rest." he chuckled thinking about her attempted joke again.

[Miss Gates]

Felix smiled at her. He was glad that she understood his love. He felt like he was turning soft, but in reality...The boy wanted to punch something. He wanted to feel blood on his hands. Destroying Jankins back there was a thrill and now he had a taste for blood...Well destruction anyway. Felix looked at Angel again before he fell into a deep sleep.

Jennifer smiled and winced at the pain she was in. She felt like her stomach was eating her alive, but she bit her lip. The girl was afraid to show Brendon her pain. However, her body's transformation gave it all way. During her pain, her hair had turned white and her eyes turned purple; naming her a new species.

"Brendon I think I should sleep..." Jennifer yawned.

Dakota sighed heavily. "I'm a fucking angel," she said and was surprised she could still cursed. Maybe angels were different than what people thought them as. "I'm here to help you now just calm down and let me do my job so I can rest in peace...Finally." Dakota rolled her eyes. "Look I was sent down here to guide you. I think I can do that...I had dangerous powers too." Dakota sighed again.

Angel stroked his forehead and took in long deep breaths. She was still scared. She would always have that feeling. She knew that well. She breathed and eventually let her weakness overcome her and fell asleep at Felix' side.


Brenden nodded. " Good idea." he stared at her for a long time. And stroked her new white hair. That was interesting. It made him think more about her. What was really happening to her?
