[Miss Gates]

Felix smiled. "I'm good," he said. "You look like you want to go."

Jennifer blushed a tad bit. "Sure," she said; happy.

Angel nodded and got up throwing her plate away.

Brendon grinned when they finally got up to the front of the line and ordered the ice cream.

[Miss Gates]

Felix threw his plate away as well and followed Angel.

"So how long have you been here?" he asked, attempting to get her mind off of things.

Jennifer looked at Brendon. "Thannnkkkk youu," she said; feeling giddy.

" A year and a half." Angel said not knowing where she was leading him, she just didn't want to be anywhere near Brendon...ever again.

Brendon handed her a spoon. " Anytime." he smiled as he walked with her back to the table and realized Angel was gone along with... Felix.

[Miss Gates]

"Wow," Felix said. "You look young...I'm not trying to be rude, if that was rude."

He hated how his words came out sometimes. Rude and uncalled for, but if people knew him, it was okay.

Jennifer gladly took the spoon and sat down in her seat. She realized that Angel and Felix had left too, but thought nothing else of it. She wasn't one to pry into their lives. She accidentally stepped into Brendon's mind. His jealousy stung her hopes and she quickly left.

He didn't like her, she thought and took a bite of ice cream.

Angel laughed lightly. " Non taken. Well i came here young. Mainly because mine was an emergency..." she sighed.

Brendon looked at Jen. " What?"

[Miss Gates]

Jennifer shook her head. "Its nothing," she lied and took another bite. "This is good, thanks."

Felix nodded. "I feel old now," he said laughing. "I'm almost nineteen."

Angel laughed. " Your not old. I'm 17." she grinned and shrugged. " The professors always say age doesn't matter for us anymore. " That our gifts all change that. I never really understood what they meant." she shrugged.

Brendon took a large bite of ice cream. " Ah come on Jen tell me."

[Miss Gates]

"What?" Jennifer asked as she took another bite. "Really, its nothing I was just thinking."

She didn't want to tell Brendon how she felt, especially if he didn't like her back.

Felix laughed, "I don't get it either, if it makes you feel any better."

[jojodancer]

Angel shrugged. " I've decided there just trying to confuse the he!! out of us so we try harder cause we want to leave sooner." she laughed lightly.

Brendon smirked. 'Come on Jen i know you can hear me. Whats wrong.' he thought to her knowing she would hear. He took another bite of ice cream.

[Miss Gates]

Felix nodded, "I'm liking it here," he paused. "Because of you."

He was a little nervous of how she would take that. He wasn't sure how to act around her.

Jennifer jumped a little, not prepared for that. She looked at Brendon.

"You don't wanna hear it," she said and took another bite.

Angel looked at him as she walked blushing insanely. She tried to make it go away because soon he would feel that. " Really?" she asked feeling some of his nervousness.

" Jen i will pick you up and drag you out of here if that's what i have to do." Brendon said putting on his "serious" face.

[Miss Gates]

"Yeah right," Jennifer said, challenging him.

Felix nodded. "You're really nice," he said; feeling even more nervous. "And....cute..."

" I look like a tomato huh?" Angel said knowing she was blushing beyond belief. There was no way he wouldn't feel that.

Brendon got up and walked over to her picking up the chair she was in carrying it and her. " Never challenge me. You should know that." he smirked lifting her with ease and stalking out of the cafeteria.

[Miss Gates]

"Brendon!" Jennifer yelled and crossed her arms angrily. "Put me down!"

Felix laughed. "I'm probably just as bad," he grinned.
