Angel stood beside Felix and placed her hand gently on his arm. She only glared at Jenkins.

Brendon's jaw clenched and unclenched she looked like she was in so much pain.

[Miss Gates]

Mr. Jankins shrugged. "Huh well," he said. "Jennifer shouldn't be alive." he pulled the knife out of her right thigh.

Jennifer screamed a little and then closed her mouth. She was tired of screaming; her throat was sore and her cheeks were stained with blood, dirt, and tears. She just wanted to go home.

Angel flinched at the pain. Being so close made it hard for her to control not feeling it.

Brendon growled low in his throat. " Step away from her or yours will be the same fate as Glens"

[Miss Gates]

Mr. Jankins looked at Brendon. "And what are you going to do with her?" he asked.

He was curious; always curious.

[jojodancer]

Brendon glared at him. " We'll take better care of her than you."

Angel looked at Jen. She was feeling every bit of pain. She couldn't control it being so close. She dropped to the floor.

[Miss Gates]

"I was merely testing on her," said Mr. Jankins. "I'm sure she'll understand..."

He looked at Jennifer and she looked back at him weakly. No, she didn't understand. And she never would. How could he think that she would? Who did he think he was? Thoughts flew in her mind.

She tried to look at Angel, but couldn't. Jennifer was instantly worried as Felix cried out, "Angel!" and heard him kneel next to her.

Felix picked Angel up in his arms, bridal style. He turned to Brendon.

"Just knock him out already," he snarled. "Let's get Jen and get out of here!"

Brendon's fist clutched. " Go." he told Felix and looked at Jen his glare turned back to Jenkins and he started to walk toward him. " Your going to get it."

Angel was back in that peaceful state of mind. Like she was sent there so she could forget the pain and protect everyone in the room. She knew self consciously that that was the case. If she woke up the pain would surely be back.

[Miss Gates]

Mr. Jankins grinned and his hair grew longer. Jennifer's eyes widened in fear.

"Brendon, he's a shapeshifter," she choked; her words were barely understandable. "No!"

Mr. Jankins transfromed into a grey wolf and growled visiciously at Brendon.

Brendon looked at him in surprise. But didn't show his fear. He crouched low bending over at the waist his hands balled in a fist so tight that the white bone beneath could be seen.

Angel's eyes fluttered open as if an intense shock wave had flown through her.

[Miss Gates]

Felix looked at Angel, worried. "Angel, baby?" he cried.

Mr. Jankins laughed; you couldn't tell it was a laugh, but he laughed. He changed into a giant bear and smacked Brendon across the room.

"You think you can stop me?" he sneered.

Brendon brushed himself off and looked at Jen quickly then back. " I can try." he said somewhat confidently and somewhat not.

Angel looked at Felix her eyes wide from shock. " You have to get away from me..." she said

[Miss Gates]

Tears swelled in Jennifer's eyes; she didn't like seeing Brendon hurt. It was too much for her heart. There was sudden change in gravity; a few objects floated in midair. Jennifer shook her head weakly.

No, she thought; everyone could hear thoughts. I will not use my powers for violence...No....

Jennifer closed her eyes, trying to make everything go away. The gravitational pull got worse, and Mr. Jankins was now floating in the air.

Felix held onto Angel. "No," he told her. "I won't leave you!"

Out of the corner of his eye, he could see floating objects and he stopped when he heard Jennifer's voice.

Angel tried to push out of his grip.

Brendon looked at Jen. What was she doing? He tried to make his move towards Jenkins.

[Miss Gates]

"Angel no," said Felix.

He was afraid she was going to disappear; disappear and never come back. He didn't want to lose her when he had just found her. He couldn't go through that...

Jennifer didn't know what she was doing; she couldn't control it. In one quick movement, Mr. Jankins grabbed Brendon by the throat and pinned him against the wall. He transformed back into his human form.

"Use your powers Jennifer!" he yelled. "Use your powers or he'll die!!"

"Stop it!!!" Jennifer screamed.

Angel looked at him with pleading eyes. " We'll all die if i don't do something." she said.

Brendon struggled in his grasp having trouble lifting his leg so he could kick him off him.
