The First War (OPEN)

((It has come to my realization that I have never made an rp about the story of this website. Please, join and have fun! Be whatever creature or human you want!))

The sun touched the earth on Colorado Springs' lands. The clouds revealed the glorious mountains of Colorado. The day had dragged on long enough for a young girl in her mid-teens. She sat in a classroom in a local high school of the Springs and mindlessly listened to the mathematics instructor. She was so bored that she hadn't even heard the teacher call on her.

"River?" The teacher said several times, getting upset.

River snapped back to reality and looked up front. "Yes, yes sir?" She had stuttered nervously.

"Would you mind telling us the answer to the problem?" the teacher asked with his knuckles pressed against his hips.

The young woman swallowed. She had wanted to say something, but she hadn't known the answer to the problem that was on the board. She wasn't paying attention. River was about to apologize when the bell had rung. She smiled and had started packing her stuff. She was off the hook! Yes! River had thought. The teacher presented the homework sheets and River had collected hers and ran out the door.

The young woman pushed through the crowds of people in the hallways and then some. When she had reached the stairs, she had walked down them, being careful not trip on anyone or anything and walked to the front doors of the school. Once outside, the sun had graced River's presence by saying hello and warming her up. The girl said a few hellos and goodbyes to a couple of classmates and took out her IPod from her pants pocket.

She was in a rush to get home. River had hated math and when she got home, everything would be better. She plugged in her headphones and started to play Cold by Breaking Benjamin and turned up the music. River walked up the hill and along the street which had lead to her suburban neighborhood. Within no time, she was already half way home with the school far behind.

River turned into the neighborhood and walked up another hill, but when she was half way there, there was something up ahead in the skies. There were sparks and they had appeared to be so close. River walked a little faster; she was curious. What the young woman hadn't known was that there was a portal there and it had been broken. She walked closer and there were more sparks. Her blue-green eyes widened in fear and she walked closer.

Her hand reached out to touch the sparks when a door had formed out stepped a....

It was a normal day in Rious for Zachariah. He had just come out of a meeting with his father. He held his head high as he walked into the main hallway, it had been confirmed he would be the next leader of the vampire clan. A cruel smile was set on his lips as his soon to be followers bowed in his presents. His stride quickened as he puffed out his chest with pride.

Zach was tall and slender he looked to be in his late teens or early 20's but in truth he was about to turn 100 years old. Long choppy black hair grazed just below his shoulders. His cold red eyes glinted with delight as some of the lesser demons and vampires cowered a little as he passed. He wore fitted leather pants with tall buckled boots. His lean torso was covered in a fitted long-sleeved black cotton shirt. Chains hung off his belt and clanked as he walked. As a good looking of a man that he was, Zach had a nasty temper and was known for his vicious acts upon his followers.

As he tuned down the hallway leading to his bedroom, he paused. There were strange sparks coming from his doorway. Eyes narrowing he walked over to check it out. However as soon as he stepped closer the sparks vanished. Shrugging it off as just a play of the light Zach turned the corner into his room.

A bright light came out of nowhere it blinded Zach for a briefe moment as he rounded the corner. He put his hand up to block the glare of...sunlight? Zach blinked as he put his hand down in shock, he was not in his room. Instead he was standing outside surrounded by strange structures he had only herd about from elders. His eyes grew wide as he turned his head to look around. A girl was standing only a few inches away from him, she looked human. She was human.

Zachariah the next leader of the vampire clan of Rious, was on Earth.

"What the fuck!?"

Her small, frail body fell to the ground when the omnious body stepped out. River looked at the unknown creature and pushed back with her hands. The girl's blue eyes scanned his body before a loud scream emitted from her throat.

Zach was startled when the girl started screaming. He lunged down on top of her and covered her mouth with his hand.

"Whoa shut up!" He snarled, "Did you bring me here!?"

His bright red eyes flashed in anger. He would never admit it but he was a little frightened and the only way he knew how to cover that up was anger. He didn't know what was going on, but he intended on finding out. This girl could know something...

River was just an innocent, human student. She hadn't done anything. She had no idea what he was talking about. Now there was stranger's hand over her mouth who's eyes were glowing red and yelling at her. River shook her head, she hadn't wanted to say anything to upset this stranger. Still, she couldn't help it. River had tried to say,

"Get off of me!"

Zach lifted his hand from the girls mouth, but he was still crouched over her. He looked at her disapprovingly.

"I've herd of witches calling demons to earth before," he snorted "But I never thought I'd happen to me. Tell me did you bring me here!?"

He didn't like repeating himself, and he was getting more frustrated with the whole situation. Raising a sharp eyebrow at the girl a thought crossed his mind. Maybe she wasn't responsible for this, if she wasn't she was of no use for him but a possible meal.

River narrowed her eyes. "Are you insane?" She asked him. "There's no such thing as witches..." She stopped in mid-sentence when she had heard sparks again. Her blue eyes averted to the sparks that were behind this stranger and her eyes widened.

Then something else had stepped out and it wasn't pretty by any means. River had never seen anything like it....It had red skin, horns, black eyes, and a tail. River was so petrified she couldn't speak a word. The demon had gone to strike the stranger...

[Lucian Alexandras Drakus]

The steady rattle of a Skateboard over concrete projected from behind a row of cars as a figure glided along, faint tune of 'Golden Cobra' by Limp Bizkit blared from the headphones in the teens ears. The teen was your stereotypical Skater, Red Vans Slip-ons, Cream Baggy Cargo Shorts, a zipped up Blue Hoodie and a DC Snapback.

His Messy Blond hair spilled out either side of the hat and flowed gently in the breeze as he sped along, his hands were planted in the hoodie pockets giving him a vary slouched and lazy profile, a very subtle lean to the left as he rounded the corner onto a residential street, his direction heading for the Hills that went down to town.

Again rounding another corner he remained chilled but the crackle of electricity and activity ahead made him focus his attention, before him was a messed up sight. A large red beast was assaulting some random civilian.

"Da Fucks going on here"

his Board screeched as he wheeled the tail end round and stopped, his foot finally planted on solid ground as the board kicked up to his hand, he removed the hair that lay across his face and took a few closer steps 'They filming a movie here' his eyes wandered for the camera crews but saw nothing except a girl on the other side of the fray.

That was the girl from his Maths Class...not that he ever attended class, but he had a good memory for faces, he moved to the path so he could get a better angle when the Crackle of Electricity danced in the air to the right of him, the fizzle and pop waved color over the Grey concrete as he stared in awe at the now open Portal.

nothing appeared at first, it seemed just blackness then four yellow dots shone out as the Darkness moved like a swirling mass of Smoke it rushed out splitting past the shocked teen and writhing up above him, the yellow lights acted as eyes on the gaseous substance and glared straight at him.

"aww shi..."

Before he could finish the sentence the smoke rushed him literally engulfing him in the mass.

"What the hell!?" Roared Zach as he quickly gathered the human girl in his arms and dove out of the way of the demon's attack. He still had questions for this woman he wouldn't allow her to die yet. Landing only a few yards away from the demon he sat the girl down.

"Don't even try to run," He said harshly looking down at her as he rolled up his sleeves, "I know your sent, I will find you if you run. So stay here, you still have answers for me." He turned his gaze upon the demon and pulled up his lips up in a snarl. His muscles tensed as he prepared for a follow up attack.

From the corner of his eye Zach saw more movement, he turned his head slightly so he didn't fully take his attention off his opponent. Smoke billowed from somewhere and engulfed someone inside of it.

"What the fuck is going on!?" He roared again then turned his full attention towards the red demon.

Her blue eyes watered at the this stranger's words. She hadn't known anything! River looked behind her and thought about running for a second. She inched slowly back, hoping that this stranger was too preoccupied with the other attack. Her heart pounded loudly in her chest. Fear crawled up her skin and inside her body, and into her stomach.

River hadn't wanted any of this and her home wasn't too far away. It was on Cottage and that was just down the street. She figured if she had run fast enough, she could make it. River turned her head and then her whole body. She was absolutely terrified, but she had to try and get away. River had decided to run and get the hell out of there.

Faint Black smoke settled onto the concrete and began to dissipate around the now floating figure, the Teen from before was risen only a couple of feet from the ground by an unseen force, an audible whisper of multitudes of Voices echoed around him, his skin had reverted to a Pale Grey tone and his hair an now Obsidian Black seemed to flow unnaturally, Black liquid streamed from the corners of his mouth and eyes which abruptly opened revealing Soulless Yellow Orbs that shone with a unknown light source.

His body Juddered in a momentary fit as the color returned to his skin and then the spectacle ceased and his limp torso slumped harshly to the hard floor, his eyelids fluttered rapidly, a sign of
REM normally when dreaming 'Who are you, what do you want' his inner voice spoke out to the darkness in his mind, there was silence them a sudden onslaught of what felt like hundreds of voices
[glow=yellow,2,300]'WE ARE MANY, YOU ARE BUT ONE, WE. ARE. LEGION'[/glow]silence again, the Blackness along with the whispers slowly faded to bright light.

his Body shot up inhaling deeply as if he'd been underwater, his face was startled and pale as it tried to make sense of what just happened, how it had just happened, the slow fade of noise crept into his ears as he looked to the side and observed the large red creature rearing up for another attack at the stranger and his classmate.

"Ahh, Fuck...what the...WHATS GOING ON"

He rose up in frustration, he hoped that the two people fighting the Demon had answers, cause he was coming up short, he snatched his Board and sprinted towards them.

Zach caught some movement out of the corner of his eye. The girl was escaping. Turning on his heals he quickly moved in front of her. Being a vampire meant Zach could do these things, but moving that fast was more about leaping than running. Instead of taking several fast small strides, it only took two large bounds to be facing the girl.

"I said not to run" Zach glared at her, "If you don't listen to me this time, I'll break your legs so you can't"

His voice was set in a dangerous tone.
