In a time when Myth and ledgen were real as everyone around you there were several girls who fell into love with men who were more then men. It was forbidden some would say for them to have fallen for these men but it happened none the less. This is there stories and trials that have been all but lost. Our story begins with the girls who know not what awaits them. Isis walked along a small oaisis looking to find a place to practice where none would watch her. She was just a normal village girl who had finished her chores and wanted to enjoy the joy of dancing. Isis started to move to the non existant music that played in her head. She danced and swayed if she had her silk scarfs she would have a lovely pattern coming around her. Little did she know that her life would change when the bandits and guards attacked her home.

Amunet Bes, or Amu as she liked to be called, sat down onto the pillows with a soft thud. She had danced her heart out for the pharaoh, and loved every minute of it. Her muscles were pulled to their extent, throbbing with the brutal use of them. Like a cat in the sun, she lazed happily, letting the soft breeze dry the beads of sweat from her skin. she had taken pride in every one of her performances, filling each of them with genuine emotion. Her emotions were given freely, for that was how she had been raised. It was a trait that had gotten her to where she was today. The sun glinted off the nearby pool, playing lights across her lightly tanned skin. the jewels she had worn for the dance hung like drops of water from her body. She liked the way they glittered in the light. Lost in the display of a natural light show, she let her thought wander to more intimate things. Secretly she hoped that the crown prince had noticed the emotion she had put in this particular dance. love, pure and so simple. It had been so long since he had looked at her as a woman. So long since he had even hinted at the idea that their relationship to each other was more than a high prince and a favored palace dancer. Her good mood had dropped as fast as the Egyptian breeze. Thinking about the dance was no longer a happy thought...instead she went over the dispassionate look in his eyes as she poured her soul out to him the only way she knew how..through the dance.

Isis dances all around her little oasis not knowing what the fates have instore for her. She lets her mind create a fantasy she knows will never come true since she has never danced before anyone else.
She dances around the oasis as if she were in a banquet hall. She closes her eyes and imagins grand silk dancer's outfit clinging to her body as she takes a silk shawl and dances with it weaving in and out of her performance.
She dances like this until her muscles ache. She smiles feeling so relieved to have danced so freely. She smiles and pauses by the little pool of water that has a little stream runing from it and places her hands into the water and cools off herself by splashing the water along her bare arms and face. She sighs and finds herself unable to move just yet and lays back into the oasis .
The sun played with the shadows that fell upon her. As Isis laid there she didn't know that bandits and raiders were aproching her home. They had decended upon the place and were causing the chaos. She got up while they were still fighting along within her home.
She got to her home and found herself at the end of a sword. She let fear flood her system as she used her dancing to avoid as much as she could but they slashed her back and she collasped. She laid there bleeding as the soldiers came.
They drove the bandits and raiders out and found she was the only one left alive. She was quickly picked up and taken to the nearest temple which had to be one that the prince frequently visited. She was laid before the preists and they shooed the soldiers away and got to work to save her life. They stopped the bleeding and closed up the wound.
She laid there hovering between life and death for hours before she coughed and woke her throat dry as the sands that surrounded her home. She was given a drink and told to rest and so she fell back into an uncontious state for the rest of that day.

She pushed away her thoughts, refusing to believe that she had been another conquest. She wanted desperately to believe that the rumors of his royal highness of his...exploits.... were just palace rumor stirred out of spurned love. somehow she doubted it though. She combed a painted hand through a long russet ponytail, letting her fingers twirl around the strands. Glancing in the water, for the first time she regretted dancing in front of everyone, regretted putting love into her dance. Her adopted parents had warned her that palace life was dangerous, she just hadn't realized how much. He had taken her heart--no not taken, she had given it freely-- and crushed it between manicured hands, not even nice enough to hand her back the pieces. Amu hated to regret doing something she loved as much as the air she breathed. If she didn't have dancing, she had nothing. And with nothing....she shook the thought from her head. She needed to get out of the palace for a while. Let the bad feelings be whisked away by the afternoon breeze. On impulse, or a time driven need to get away from royalty for a while, she pulled her hair free from it's jewels and dove into the lily pool. The woman was not a particularly modest creature, she had lost it long before, when she had first come to the palace. When she came up for air her already diaphanous clothing clung like skin to her body. It was far more seductive than having stripped. Her makeup ran slightly, making her look as though she cried black tears. Taking one large breath, she ducked under the water again, letting her body drift in the liquid crystal. there was no noise here, she was alone with thoughts of only the water and it's light push against her body. eventually her lungs burned and forced her to rise again. Her makeup and paints had washed clear, leaving a paint virgin body clean of enhancements. Back in the courtyard her conjured scenes of the crown prince returned, turning into more than daydreams. She stood wonderfully seductive in silk that clung to every part of her body as a goddess. Light glinted off of small beads of water running down her skin. "Amu, my dancing jewel. You look wonderfully innocent right now. I was planning on visiting the temple, but that can wait if you'd like to get rid of these clothes." The crown prince's eyes raked across her skin, causing her body to flush slightly at the scrutiny. Collecting herself and shielding her body from wanting to fall at his feet and please him, she straightened her back and prepared to deny him. "Actually your royalty, I was planning on visiting an old friend today. Since the sun is still high in the sky, i have time before i must be back for the next dance. I thought i'd wander Thebes." As though on cue a young maid appeared at her side, holding fresh clothes and a light cloak to cover her from recognition in the streets. as deft as she was at dancing, she had maybe too much experience in his highness's chambers, a skill that allowed her to strip and re-cloth herself easily. *Point for me, even if my heart is pounding like i was being judged by Hamunket* The man looked almost argumentative, but breeding did not allow him to command or beg for a woman's company. Something Amu was more than pleased to see. curtsying respectfully, she dashed for the palace gates. Her cloak flew behind her, the wind almost unhinging her hood as she used a dancers grace and ran. She reached her destination soon enough, the temple of Hathor. She had fond memories of learning her first steps in the halls of the great goddess. The priests there were wonderful parents and loving fathers, every one of them. She had long ago locked away the story of how she had arrived at the temple. She blessed whatever deity she could for allowing her to be raised by such wonderful people. dipping two fingers into the wine, she smeared the sweet liquid onto her lips. As her habit dictated, she took an incense from a nearby jar and let it burn at the base of one of the statues, signifying her respect and worship to her guardian goddess. "My little Amunet Bes, the goddess of my heart brings you to me again." The man was a wisp of who he was in youth, but she recognized him immediately. "High priest. oh it's been too long." she launched herself into his arms, hugging him with fierce love. "My dear you grow more and more beautiful everyday. But somehow i don't think you came to thank the gods." he glanced at her. She sighed, he knew everything, her soul was bare to his knowing eyes. "I came because i needed to. Is there anything i can do?" the plea shone brightly in her eyes. He simply nodded and took her to a back room in the temple. A girl, not much younger looking that Amu herself lay on a bed, sweat across her brow. She turned to the little man, her mouth open to ask. "Bandits attacked her village, the guards brought her here for healing, as our goddess Hathor is the protector of women." he answered her unasked question. Taking a small bowl and rag from another priest, she sat next to the young woman, wiping her face with the cool cloth. she never noticed the men leave, she was too caught up tending. It took her mind away from her own problem, letting her tend to someone in more need. It was her way of cleansing her own heart. When the young girl woke, Amu quickly poured a cup of water, holding it to her lips. "Drink this, and sleep away the pain, precious light." She saw the girl drift back to sleep, and contented herself to watch over her, stroking her hair away from her face.

Isis had woken up and seen Amunet Bes. She got the water to drink, After she drank the water she heard Amu, tell her to sleep and call her Precious Light. As she fell into a deep dreaming sleep she saw a bright light and danced around in her dream. Her dream had gone back to her oasis where she was dancing in the sunlight enjoying the pure abandonment that she enjoyed so much.
Isis laid there and looked happy as she slept. She rested semi piecefully as her back gave her some pain. As she slept the wound started to scabover which made her back a little tight. She knew someone was watching over her as she slept.
Isis woke the next morning and slipped from beneath the light sheet that had been drapped across her legs. She got up carefully as her back was a little sore. She stretched and could feel the need to move in her legs. She started a small dance but the dance broke the scab and allowed blood to flow slightly from the now reopening wound.
Pausing to feel the sunlight upon her face Isis stands in the shaft of sunlight from the windows. She takes a deep breath and feels her feet ready to strike up another dance. She wondered why her dream couldn't have been reality, she had been so happy dancing and dancing.

Amu loved to dance for people. To her it was a way to say the things she couldn't speak. Dance was universal to portray love, hate, sadness, anger and every other emotion known. but there were times when she relished not dancing, to just watch others go about their business in day to day work. Her favorite thing to watch was the guards. So serious when royalty came around, but they truly loved the Egyptian people. As she thought about it, a young girl presented a desert flower to the gate guard. Her heart warmed as the man tucked the flower behind his ear. No fury in his eyes, terrifying displays of power or a brandishing of a razor sharp spear held in muscled hands, he simply patted her on the head and smiled. It was hard living the life she had, and she knew she had nothing to blame but her own ambitions of being able to help her people. Yet there were a few times where she wished the crown prince hadn't chosen her to come to the palace when he'd seen her dance. She had been a young eight years old and her life went from carefree dancing to training rigorously to gain favor from the royal family. The other dancers had despised her for it, but she had practiced alone until her feet bled. She would not give up her dream. Now her dream was almost realized. She was the palace head dancer and in charge of all the young girls that came to dance at the palace. She had taken on the duties of mistress when a royal banquet was held and a peacekeeper when crown prince Thutmose and the pharaoh argued. At the moment she was content to sit at her window and dream of times away from the palace, in the far off places of the world. Amu saw her dancers faces before they even spoke a word. "What is it, what's wrong young ones?" she cupped each of their cheeks, looking into a sea of solemn eyes. "Thutmose told us that you were going to give up dancing to be his concubine." one blurted out. It was the most inappropriate time to do it, but she let out a laugh that sounded like the tinkling of a bell. "My little lights, it's not true. I would never give up dancing, just like i would never give up any of you." she kissed each of the thirteen cheeks. Since the dancers she had grown up with had been dismissed she had started collecting orphaned girls all over the city and teaching them the art of dance. She had been given a chance at the temple, and more than her these innocent children deserved a chance as well. she had become mother, sister and protector to each girl ranging from twelve up to twenty. Taking her at her word, the girls mooned over her costume for the dance that day. "It's so pretty Amunet. the beads are so clear they look like water on your skin." She took the compliments good naturedly, knowing that these girls had grown up with only the sense of a trained dancer...that did not include modesty of one's body. The skirt was just many short strings of beads that hung low on her hips. The shirt, barely different. soon she had taken as much as she could handle and she sent the girls off to rehearse the dances. her thoughts floated back to the young girl she had tended to in the temple. She had rolled in the night, revealing the long slice on her back. The priests words came back to her about the bandits. If her village had been destroyed that meant the girl had nowhere to go. *She's a little old to be just learning dance. If only she had danced when she was younger....oh well, i'm sure i could find something for her to be at the palace.* Deciding to use the duration of her rest period to visit the girl again, Amunet Bes cloaked her body and headed back to the temple. The girl seemed to be doing well when she arrived, walking about, dancing....Dancing?! The woman took a moment to register what she was seeing. "Hathor, my goddess above, what a beautiful blessing the gods have sent." she whispered to herself. Her heart lept as she realized that this girl would fit in perfectly...as soon as she got better. She frowned when she saw the girl stop and the red stain spreading across her clothes. Forgetting any plans of finding the girl a place to live went out of her head as she rushed to help. "You shouldn't strain yourself, or work your body too hard right now. That wound has only just started healing. If you push you'll scar, and that is not something a dancer's body is made for." she helped the girl, leading her over to a bench to sit on. Reverting to full healer mode, Amu checked over the opened wounds, inspecting it for tearing. "Well it was a clean cut, so no it won't scar, and it hasn't completely opened again. We'll count the gods blessings where we can get them. This may sting at first, but it'll stop the bleeding and cool the pain." Disappearing for all but a moment, the woman returned with a small pot filled with a green waxy substance. Rubbing it between her hands to warm it slightly, she started to wipe it on either side of the wound. taking a single finger she dabbed it into the actual cut. To her happiness the bleeding stopped, halted by the natural sealant. "We'd better get you inside and wrap it again." Not waiting for an answer she led them both in. Asking the girl if she would like to come to the palace would have to wait for a better day. "The suns almost down. Get some more sleep and let the salve do it's job. Sweet dreams precious light." Making sure the girl lay down; Amu covered her with the sheet again, brushed her hair away from her face and kissed her brow. "I'll be back tomorrow night." She only hoped she hadn't stayed past her rest period. Forgetting to keep the cloak closed around her body, she ran for the palace. Her feet barely touched the ground before she reached the other dancers. "Gods above, good i made it in time." She pressed a hand to her beating heart. not even asking where she had been the other girls set to work on her makeup. "Is this alright big sister?" one girl let slip. She was the newest girl, a little over fourteen. And she made Amu's heart swell. *This is what a family is....we are a family* she thought happily. She hoped the girl who's name she still didn't know would like to become a part of it.

Isis woke each day and a temple servent came to add more onitment to her cut. On the fourth day she woke and the Servent applied the onitment and found that it had healed quiet nicely. She got up and went to the lilly pond and stood in the sunlight happily as she stretched and picked a loose lilly up and placed it within her hair. She thanked the gods for sparing her then decided to thank them through the only thing she knew how.
Isis started to dance along the lilly pond, she dance her heart out and smiled to the sun. She was glad to be able to move as she use to and as she moved the scab fell off leaving not a trace of where she had been cut. She smiled and danced until her muscles ached.
Isis sighed contently and kneeled beside the lilly pond and splashed some water upon her face as she cooled off. She looked around and saw several of the Temple servants standing watching her. She looked down at the water and carefully rose and went to hide in her room. She didn't want to face critisim. She didn't want to know why the stared at her as she kneeled there. She didn't want to know she had been seen dancing and they had seen the thanks she had to the gods.

Guilt swam in her stomach as each day she realized her free time had been diminished to so little that she didn't have the time to visit the patient. it wasn't even as if it was the dances that were keeping her away, the pharaoh had decided to use the dancers for other chores in order to get ready for an eminent visit from one of many allied kingdoms. Some princess determined to come and marry into the royal family and secure a permanent alliance. Amu scoffed at the idea slightly. *A foreigner has no business trying to rule egypt. Maybe she'll get attacked on the way here.* She mused to herself. Ashamed that even a passing thought of something that would destroy a peace treaty with her home even entered her mind, she ducked under the bath water. the silk of rose petals brushed against her skin, reminding her of the luxury she and her dancers had for being so popular to the royalty. Today was her one free day in many that she could actually enjoy. Though she hadn't been able to see the girl, she had gotten bits and pieces of a report from priests visiting to bless something or other. The girl was doing better, and her back had healed without a mark. Another blessing she chalked up to Hathor. Convinced, after two hours in the cool water, that she had cleaned away all essence of oil, sweat and dust from her private dance the night before, she rose out of the water. Her bare body was exposed to the warm breeze, her favorite way to dry the water from her skin. The scent of rose still clung to her, a scent that she favored when visiting outside the palace. She would not waste time today. Without needing a word, a maid appeared at her side, head bowed away from Amu's naked body. "At's alright. we are both human, and both blessed creatures." she smiled warmly, encouraging the young girl to stop groveling. "I am no goddess, i am as real and mortal as you are." This seemed to make the maid a bit more comfortable as she offered Amu a small smile. Her clothes today were not the diaphanous or jeweled of a dancer, she was for the moment a simple woman on her way to pay homage to her home. Her dress was simple white cotton wrap that had been cinched under the bust by a rope of gold. She left her hair down, hoping to not look to intimidating. Meeting the girl who was finally rested and healed made her heart beat rapidly. today she was going to ask if the girl wanted to live with her...not an easy decision. Taking a giant gulp of air, she steeled herself for everything.
She walked slowly through he temple, unconsciously using her dancer's grace to walk silently. "Hello?" she called out. She hoped that the girl was there, she had almost run out of courage. When she saw the young woman sitting on her bed, a stifling aura of sadness in the room, Amu forgot to be worried. "Are you alright? If this is about your home...I..I wanted to make you an offer. You see i live somewhere you could dance your heart out. There are a few other girls, and i know they would love to meet you." She stroked the girl's hair back, trying to comfort whatever was hurting her. "What a lovely idea. So glad you suggested it Amunet." Her heart dropped. In the doorway, in all his gold and glory stood crown prince Thutmose. She recognized the rake of his eyes over innocent flesh. A warning flashed in her head. "Your royal highness, we didn't see you." She rose, stealthily moving herself in front of Isis in hopes of deterring him. She knew the challenges the crown prince could bring, and suddenly she almost regretted offering the girl her idea. "Well, i'm very happy you approve highness. though ultimately the choice has to be hers. A dancer's heart must be happy where it flies." She bowed her head. "It's not her choice anymore. Get her ready and bring her to the palace. Seems you have a new dancer under your wing." He laughed. Hate started to grow in her chest. *He will not hurt another innocent girl.* Once she was sure he was gone, she knelt in front of the girl. Her eyes searched for any flicker of emotion in the girl's hidden face. "It'll be ok, i promise. The dancers are a family, and we all watch our own." She tried to ease the girl's heart as much as her own. "My name's Amunet Bes, though just call me Amu." she smiled.

Isis was startled when Amu came into her room and started to talk about being sad about her home being destroyed. She was about to say something when Amu asked her to come live with her and the Crown prince spoke startling them. Isis felt the crown prince's gaze come across her. She was greatful when Amu came between his gaze and her.
Isis sighed when he said she didn't have a choice about what she wanted to do. She looked at Amu and smiled softly "Thank you for worrying about me, I wasn't sad about my home to much, I was just ashamed when they saw me dance," taking a breath she then added "My name is Isis," she lowered her eyes to her bed and sighed.
"I guess i don't have much of a choice what i will do anymore," she added as she stood up and stretched loosening her mucsles. "I have never danced before anyone since i was a child, Im not sure if i can," she said as she looked down at the floor. She didn't want to see what Amu would say.
Her fear of what would happen when she moved into the Palace. She took a deep breath and then asked and said "What will it be like when i get there?" she was fidgiting as she stood there. She took a deep breath as she tried to calm down. She didn't know what to expect and hoped that Amu would be able to tell her something.
At least i will have a family within the dancers she thought as she waited. She was scared of the look that the Prince had given her, She didn't want to feel like she couldn't move without them following her with a gaze that made her shiver in fear.

Amu's smile brightened. She hated the thought that the prince had interfered and forced the girl out of one of very few decisions in her life. pushing that aside, she focused on the girl. *She's nervous* he mused. It wasn't as if she enjoyed the unhappy expression on the young woman's face, but Amu was revealed that she wasn't the only one who was fidgety around the other. "It's a nice place to live. Rose baths, beautiful dresses, resting on silk pillows in the sun...and the dancing. You feel like you can change the world with all those people watching. for just a small amount of time you can lift their unhappiness and give them a glimpse into the magic that we live for." The woman had gotten lost in her own explanation. she had almost forgotten the initial wonder that she had experienced when she first entered. She had become a veteran now, not filled with young wonder, but with a healthy awe that she could live in such a place. "It'll be a great experience for you. And anything you need, you simply ask me or one of the other girls." She brushed Isis's hair back, trying to let her see the truth in her words. "We'll get someone to bring anything you'd like to take with you to the palace later, but for now....we'd best get you inside the gate and into the dancers hall. It's a nice place to live, you can see egypt span all around under you." She wrapped an arm lovingly around the girl's shoulders and led her to her new home. Though she kept the smile on her face, she silently prayed that the crown prince had retired or been called to a meeting. She knew thutmose's reputation...she had experienced it...and this girl was not one to be subjected to it also.

Isis nodded as she was led towards the palace. She had never seen more of the palace then when the sun rose in the morning. She had never been inside until now. As they walked over towards the Palace a breeze picked up and took her flower from her hair.
Watching the flower blow off with a freedom she could only wish for once more she sighed. She wanted to keep her heart calm as she watched the distance become closer and closer to them entering the palace. She took a deep breath as she closed her eyes not sure if she wanted to watch herself take the step that would seal her fate and strip away her freedom.
After they got into the shadows of the palace Isis opened her eyes and was shocked at the beauty around her. She didn't know what to think as she looked around. "I get to live in a part of this beautiful place?" she asked as she looked at Amu. She didn't know what to think as she took in the sights around her. She stiffened ever so slightly as she felt a gaze upon her. She looked ahead a little ways and saw the prince standing there.
"Amu, where will my room be?" she asked the room amplifying her soft voice to where the prince could hear it. He smirked at the innocent question and moved closer towards them his eyes taking in everything about the new dancer, how she would look with the more revealing outfits of the dancers and eventually within his chambers.
He then answered the question himself "Your chambers will be next to mine since the Dancing chambers i have heard are full,"he smiled as he tried to not seem so scarry towards her. He wanted to make her his but he knew he would have to work quickly before Amunet decided to hide the girl away in the Dancer's chambers.

"Nonsense your highness. All the new girls stay with me for a certain time. I must watch over them and make sure they are becoming the best dancers possible for your father. They are, after all, my charges. And you know how protective i can be over them." She had mastered the innocent smile about the same time she had lost her modesty. Her grip on isis tightened, an almost physical warning to stay away. He was not to be put off that easily. But h had to tred carefully..Amu had power over the dancers, power his infatuated father had given her. "Of course Amunet. I mean when it is time for her to move to her own room-" "Then she will of course share a room just like all the other girls. I try not to make one higher above the rest. It tends to breed jealousy in my dancers." not even waiting for an answer she pulled isis away in another direction. Once she knew they were far enough away from the man, she spun the young girl around. Her eyes had gone steely and her voice was bordering on threatening. "Stay away from that man. I don't care what he offers you. Stay. Away." she searched the girl's eyes for acknowledgment. Feeling she had scared the girl, Amu softened. "I don't want to see you get hurt. Thutmose is a dangerous man. He can make life difficult if you give in." Giving in to her instincts, she pressed her lips to the young woman's forehead. "Come on, it's time you met the other girls." changing her stance from protective to one of an excited school girl, Amu grabbed Isis's hand and pulled her along, giggling as she weaved through columns and around the numerous ponds. "Goddess be free for all of us." she panted. not even quite sure what she herself meant. "Next to dancing, i love to run until i lose my breath, it feels like flying." She pressed a hand to her heart, her eyes glittering with happiness. "The new girl is here!" she called out to someone behind her. The other girl's swarmed around the two, their squeals and questions echoing against the ceiling.

Isis was shocked at how Amu talked to the prince and how he had wanted to give her a room so far from the others. She didn't know why he would want her so far from the others until Amu and she stopped and she told her to stay away from the Prince. She was nervous as she seemed to be scolding her about the prince.
Isis was shocked when Amu kissed her forhead. She hadn't been expecting it and then when Amu grabbed her wrist she found herself running behind Amunet some as she dragged her along. She didn't know what to expect as they arrived in the dancing hall.
She was shocked when they arrived and Amunet called out to the girls and they decended upon them swarming. She heard about a million questions all posed at once along side squeels and hugs pressed all around her.
Her mind froze as she tried to process what was going on. She smiled at the younger ones and then said in a soft but firm voice "Calm calm, one at a time, I can't listen to all of you speaking at once," she said a smile gracing her lips.
The girls calmed down when they heard her voice, it was so new and they became silent around her. Isis looked at the room and saw the pillows and said "Why don't we sit and you can each ask a question as you sit in a circle around me," she was surprised at how quickly the girls released her from the center of the swarm. She walked her natural grace showing how she had danced all of her life. She didn't realize how her body naturally danced as she walked when at ease.
She found a sapphire blue pillow and pulled it from the pile and settled down on it in a spot where enough space was around her for the others to settle down and be comfortable. She smiled as the girls quickly took their places around her leaving room for Amunet to join the circle if she wished. Soon the girls were briming with questions ready to flood over Isis again if she didn't start answering.

Amu watched them all, a smile playing across her lips. Isis would fit in well enough, and the other girls would help her deal with the palace life. After all that was how they were raised to be. It always gave her a great sense of warmth to see these girls and know that it was she who had raised them. And now she would protect her newest one, make sure she never had to deal with thutmose and his less than innocent ideas. She was listened to due to more than her being the oldest dancer there. she had been foolish enough to take the prince up on his offer and it had almost landed her in jail. The other girl's respected the story, but she doubted they understood what the palace jails were like. She shuttered at the thought. Pushing the images from her mind, she tried to focus on Isis's story of what happened, and every other little tidbit her girls pumped her for. "Alright, alright you noisy willow reeds..it's time to sleep. We have a hard training day tomorrow" She laughed at the groans, but like good children they headed for their own rooms. As her usual, she kissed each girl on the cheek before letting them out of the room. Turning back, she looked at isis. "I have a bed ready for you. If there's anything you need you just tell me alright?" Giving up the pretense of being carefree, she sat down next to the girl. Pinching the bridge of her nose, she prepared to answer the questions she knew had to be in her eyes. "Royalty is...well the politics here are dangerous. It's not so easy to get involved, even non romantically. But now's as good of a time as ever. What is it you want to know. I promise i won't bite." She teased.

Isis smiled as she saw how Amu bid the girls good night. She sighed it was a good thing that Amu had stopped them she didn't know how many more questions they would have had for her her but she needed to get some sleep.
She was curious when Amu asked her if she had any questions. "how bad is it dancing here? will it be to much preasure?" she said as she took a breath as she wondered what to think as she then said softly "I've never danced in front of anyone before," she took a moment to relax.
She was curious what Amu would be able to tell her of palace life and everything. She needed to know what was going to be expected of her now that she was here. She still felt like the prince's eyes were watching her with something she had never seen before.
Shivering she pushed those thoughts from her mind as she settled down into the pillow she had picked. She was curious to know what Amu would have to say to her. She was still remembering what she had told her in the hall way about staying away from the prince. She wouldn't disobey her not if she could help it.
