[Atticus]

Nathan "I.... i'm nathan..... im new here, i was talking to her and i asked how she found out her power but she just stood there and started to have abit of a panic attack..... i got worried.... why did she say she was a murderer?" he asked as his panicy tone started to calm down.

Laura looked confused "Your really mean..... why is that? oh oh oh can we be fwends?" he asked really child like, this time David laughed but kinda evil like "Me..... and you...... friends..... now thats a good one" she started laughing to but looked confused again "I don't get it" he shook his head and started walking away, she quickly followed him "Where are we going?" he turned round, im going to my dorm..... your staying here" he started walking again.

[Miss Gates]

The nurse pulled a drape between them and Dakota, so that Nathan and her could have some privacy. She gently took Nathan by the arm and lead him a little bit aways from Dakota.

"Listen here Nathan," she whispered. "This is not my place to say, but you should stay away from this girl. She's dangerous. She calls herself a murderer because;" the nurse paused. "You wanted to know how she found out her powers? Well here it is: the girl threw a fit one day when she was little, and her powers destroyed her family--all three people. She loses her temper from time to time and kills somone. Dakota doesn't mean to, but it happens. The government keeps a close eye on her because she's killed six people. Dakota's a dangerous girl. Don't be friends with her. Let her go, for your own sake...And hers."

[Atticus]

Nathan stared at the Nurse weird "Your right you shouldn't.... i'll be friends with her if i want to, i've not had a good life myself so i know what its like.... kind of but she needs someone..... and i will be that person" he said now moving next to Dakota's bed.

Laura kept following David which made him stop again "Listen little girl...." she stopped him in his sentence "I'm not little im 17 right me?" anouther her popped up and nod "thats right" then it poofed, he stared at her strange "Have you ever had friends..... that aren't yourself?" she started thinking then clap "Ya huh.... you" she giggled as he sighed "i'm not your friend.... now leave me alone."

[Miss Gates]

The nurse shook her head. "Don't come crying to me when she burns you." she said and walked away.

Dakota was staring at a wall, lifeless. She hurt, she hurt badly. She had heard every word the nurse muttered to Nathan.

"She told you what I was," said Dakota in a monotone voice. She turned and looked at him. "I meant what I said before...Kill me." Dakota turned her body and sat up straight, looking into Nathan's eyes. "Kill me." she demanded.

[Atticus]

Nathan shook his head and sat on the edge of the bed "I will do no such thing..... i wont have your death on my shoulders too" he said looking at the floor "i'm not exactly the most "inocent" person" he looked up at her.

David looked at her she looked abit upset he sighed again "Alright fine, i'll show you around but thats it..... and dont talk.... your voice annoys me" he turning round and starting to walk, Laura jumped up and down "YAAAAAY OKAY" she started walking next to him "So what powers do you have?" he rolled his eyes "What part of dont talk do you not get" he sighed "i can leech powers and keep them plus i have invulnerability" she looked at him strange but stayed quiet trying to understand the last power.

[Miss Gates]

Dakota looked at Nathan. "Can you feel them too?" she asked in a whisper. "Can you feel the pain that they're feeling?"

She sounded as if she were insane, and that was sort of what she was. She was insane by pain. The pain drove her off the edge a long time ago. It shut out all her emotion and will to live. The government helped with that as well when Dakota didn't agree to be their perfect warrior.

[Atticus]

Nathan looked at her *feel there pain...* he thought "I dont really feel there pain but i have nightmares of the sort because im psychic..... when something tragic happens to a psychic it never truely leaves the mind" he said in abit of a depressive tone.

David showed her every place he knew about but one because it was his hideout with his friends "Well thats everything..... so you going to let my have peace now?" he said as she just stood there smiling "Wanna go for a meal?" she said still smiling he just shruged "only if you dont sit next to me" he said now walking to the canteen.

[Miss Gates]

Dakota's eyes watered, and they burned. She whined in pain.

"I can feel them," her voice broke. "Screaming...I can feel their burning...The burning which I am causing."

She covered her face with her hands. "I'm a monster."

[Atticus]

Nathan shook his head "no your not a monster.... dont say that" he wanted to touch or just hug her to make her feel better insted he wrapped his t-shirt around his hand and placed it on hers "please don't cry Dakota" he said looking at her eyes as he couldn't help but nearly cry for her.

David walked into the canteen with Laura behind him "remember stay behind me" he whisperd back to her "okay" she said normalily he looked around and didn't spot his mates he let out a sigh of relief and grabbed some pizza so did Laura copying what he does and sat down as she sat in front of him and just sat there smiling.

[Miss Gates]

Dakota sniffled and her eyes started to burn.

"Shit," she said and turned around; the acid was burning her skin again, and she didn't want Nathan to see her hideous face.

All Dakota wanted to do was hide. Either hide, or death. She'll take one of those options.

[Atticus]

Nathan wanted to turn her around "Dakota dont hide, your not hideous like you proberly think you are, they are just scars, everyone gets them" he said trying his hardest to make her happy again he patted her back with the hand with the t-shirt wrapped around it.

David couldn't eat "would you please not stare at me while you eat, it's putting me off" he said as he started eating his pizza, Laura nodded and quickly finshed her pizza "where did you come from?" he just looks at her "New york" she gasps "i came from there, its like were supose to be friends" he laughed abit "Riiiiight".

[Miss Gates]

Dakota shook her head. "I have to hide," she whispered.

The tears burned her cheeks, but she didn't want to reveal herself to Nathan. She didn't want him to see the weak woman that she truly was underneath all the gothic look. Over years of mental abuse from the public, Dakota decided that she would rebel. Her past was painted with unique shades of black and the painting would never disappear. The pain hurt her so badly, all she wanted was to be accepted. Was that so hard for people? Sure she was different on the outside, but on the inside she was just like everyone else; human. Shouldn't being human be enough? Nope, to everyone else she was nothing but a killer. And that's what the government wanted her to be. She remembered them training her to be an assasin. Dakota never chose her life. If she did choose it, it would have been completely different from right now. If she had the choice, Dakota would have chosen the white picket fence, one big happy family, parents that never divorced--not even once, and she would have been a blond perky cheerleader. But no...She was stuck in this horrible life. A life that should have never been created.

Brendon slapped his head. " Well why couldn't you do that in the first place!" he said almost too loud. He shrinked back in his chair. " Okay i get now." he grinned a cocky grin.

Angel looked at Felix. " This place is intimidating isn't it?" she smiled lightly

[Atticus]

Nathan smiled slightly "You dont have to hide anymore, no one will laugh and no one will harm you" he said truthfully he looked around and moved abit closer "You can trust me Dakota" he said smiling.

Laura looked around the canteen at everyone as David slowly sunk down of his chair a crouched low so he could move around the table to the exit, "So what is....." she turned back seeing him gone "David" she stood up and looked around as he quickly left the canteen he turned round the corner thinking he was safe "There you are" he looked forwards seeing her right in front of him "How..... oh yeah your can multiply" he sighed but she giggled "That was a good trick to pull almost got..... oh Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii me" the real one walked behind him "You can't escape i will always find you" she said really childish as the clone poofed.

[Miss Gates]

Dakota sniffed and with a heavy heart she turned around to look at Nathan. Something about his voice calmed her down, eased her soul; her pain.
