[Miss Gates]

Regina looked at Samuel. "If you're tired, I could go."

"No don't go." Samuel slurred. He grabbed Regina's arm and pulled her down to lay beside him. "I don't want to be alone." He wrapped his good arm around her waist. "I enjoy your company."

Samantha smiled weakly. "I wasn't expecting company." Her voice broke a little. She looked away from Mack so she could regain her composure. "I'm sorry." She dried her eyes quickly before she stopped and turned to Mack. "I don't know where that came from."

[Atticus]

Mez nodded "Its alright you can let it all out theres no point in keeping everything in, you'll go mad" he said as he puts his hands into his pockets and looks down *Man ive never seen her act like this* he thought to himself.

[Miss Gates]

Regina blushed a bright pink. "Okay,"she said happily to Samuel. "I'll stay."

She hugged him gently and then looked at Samantha. She was worried about her and hoped that she was all right.

"Thank you," Samuel breathed into Regina's ear. He kissed her lightly on the cheek. He squeezed her tighter against him though it hurt his ribs.



"I just talked to the doctor." Samantha stared at Mack, tears welling in her eyes. "Samuel might have a concussion after all. It might be fatal." She lost it on the last word and cried uncontrollably against Mack's chest.

Regina blushed even more. "You're-you're welcome."she said.

Regina really liked Samuel; that was her first kiss. Regina looked at him.

"You don't have to hurt yourself,"Regina chuckled nervously. "Don't hug me if it hurts okay?"

"It's a good hurt," he said, smiling. He pressed his lips against hers.

[Atticus]

Mack's eyes widen "A concussion....Fatal..." the words slipped out of his mouth he was in shock as he hugged Samantha "Don't worry.... it'll be fine.... im sure it won't be fatal"

Regina blushed so hard, but kept her cool, and kissed Samuel back. She never felt this way about someone before. Nervous, she withdrew the kiss and took a breath.

"Sorry,"she said with a shy smile. "First kiss."

"Mine too." Samuel took a breath and sighed. "Don't tell my sister though because she'll never let me live it down." He cuddled a bit closer to her, holding her tight, and fell asleep.



Samantha looked up at Mack. "I hope it isn't. Who's going to help mom and dad through it if it is?"

Regina looked down at Samuel; he looked so cute while he was asleep. She stroked his hair gently and smiled. Even though she was in the hospital, things seemed peaceful. Regina was so happy right now. She cuddled with Samuel and then leaned her head agaisnt the pillow and closed her eyes.

[Atticus]

Mack smiled "Don't worry if.... if it comes down to it.... i'll help your Mum and Dad though it..... and i'll be their for you"

"Thank you." Samantha whispered. She shook her head to shake off her worry, dried her tears, and took a deep, shuddering breath. "We ought to get back there before those two start worrying."

But when she got back to the room, she found them both lying asleep. "Aww." she said turning to Mack. "Look how adorable they are."

Hearing Samantha, Regina jerked awake as she blushed bright pink. She was about to move, but then she remebered that Samuel was wrapped around her waist and she didn't want to accidentally injure him in the process. So, she cleared her throat and looked at Samantha and Mack.

"Sorry,"Regina said nervously. "I didn't mean to fall asleep."

"That's ok," Samantha said quietly. "Apparently he did, too." She smiled.
