These rules were created in 2005 and have been updated for 2019. All members MUST read the rules before posting. All words and actions are final. All disciplines are final. Everyone has three strikes. If a member goes above three strikes, then that member will be banned, and all decisions are final.
1) Know what you are getting into: if you join and do not respond after a long time then know that is not a reason to get angry with someone else.
2) This website is PG-13 due to the restrictions of Proboards. What does PG-13 mean? Well, we did a little research and we gathered information from the rating website. Here are the PG-13 guidelines:
PG-13 — Parents Strongly Cautioned. Some Material May Be Inappropriate For Children Under 13. A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should view the motion picture, as some material might not be suited for them. A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category. The theme of the motion picture by itself will not result in a rating greater than PG-13, although depictions of activities related to a mature theme may result in a restricted rating for the motion picture. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating.
More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating, but such nudity in a PG-13 rated motion picture generally will not be sexually oriented. There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A motion picture’s single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, initially requires at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive requires an R rating, as must even one of those words used in a sexual context. The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on a special vote by a two-thirds majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context or manner in which the words are used or because the use of those words in the motion picture is inconspicuous.
With that being said, parents, your child knew what he or she was getting into. So please do not be angry with this website.
3) Treat others as you would like to be treated. Everyone should know this rule. This rule means that you treat each member with respect and kindness.
This also goes for the Writing and the Art sections. Please be professional in a critique. If a member is being plain mean and malicious then that member will be dealt with.
4) No God Moding: This rule means that you cannot take control of someone else's character. That goes for death as well. Another member cannot declare another member's character as "dead". No matter what the situation may be, it is up to the writer if their character dies or not.
5) If you have a problem with another member please do not take matters into your own hands. It will only make matters worse. Please calmly and rationally private message the admin and explain what is going on within the message. Tell the admin what is making you uncomfortable and the admin will take care of the situation as the admin sees fit.
