Only The Heavens Can Help Us Now

Lets cut the small talk. Wanna know how Sky and her family got the Earth? And why everyone calls her home planet dead? Well your about to find out. Keep at it, and we just might get somewhere.

It started out like every other normal day on the Planet Avion. Clear skys, and a brilliant view of the planet Earth. A young girl about the age of 4 sat in the balcony of a palace she knew nothing of. It was her home. It was where she was born. She dazed at the Earth with big brilliant purple eyes. She was the Princess of Avion, The World of Air and Magic. She could use VERY little of that magic now, she was so young. She ran all around the balacony as if trying to see the other side of the Earth. Occasionally shed reach out fo it as if she was trying to touch it. She didnt know any better.

"SKY! SKY DEAR!", a soft voice that seemed to sing through the wind called. "Where are you dear?"

Sky whirled around. "MOMMA!", she shreiked.

"You arent watching the Earth again are you? Get your head out of the clouds and come back home.", he mother laughed. "Come now dear we're going into town today." Sky grabbed her mother hand and heaed down the long flight of stairs to meet her Father at the gates.

Aster paced nervously in the foyer. His black, somewhat tarnished bandana swayed as he changed direction, as did his freyed, red cape. "Oh dear... I hope nothing happened to miss Sky... I should have never took my eyes off of her!" Aster thought aloud. The knight stopped, then began tapping his boot embroiled foot after awhile.

But, something was comming down the stairway! 'Could it be Miss Sky!?' he thought.

[Miss Gates]

((Okay, can I use my charry Serena? She's a shapeshifter and she'll be little like Sky, and she won't be insane like she usually is))

((Lol thats fine! This isgonna be good! Zoey dont forget about bed time storyin the alive section =] ))

"ASTER!", came the shriek of a little girl from the bottom of the stair case. "I havent seen you all day! Where have you been!? I needed someone to play with!", shesaid innocently. She looked at the knight with large vivid glowing purple eyes. She seemed so happy.

"Play...with...?", Skys mother said softly looking at the knight. She laughed softly. "I found her in her room staring off at the Earth again.", her mother added a bit harshly. She gave Aster a stern look. She had instructed him not to let her get to absorbed into the planet. But as quickly as her face hardened it softened, and she smiled plesently at him.

Outside the castle, a little girl about eight years old ran about the castle. Her name was Serena Kolt and she had pale skin with thick long black hair and dark brown eyes. She was just running out of boredom, pretending to defend the castle. Then, she shapeshifted into a bird called the Blue Bullfinch. She flew to around the castle, trying to find the little princess. Serena was a curious child.

Just outside the castle next the gate it showed Lucian leaning against the wall bored out of his mind like most days he was very lazy during the day but was always more awake at night he couldn't even be bothered to wave at one of the other guards who was going pass he stopped abruptly to look at Lucian quickly marching over to him "WAKE UP NOW", Lucian fell off the wall and onto the floor rubbing his ears "ouch you could have just shaken me or something" he said getting back to his feet, "Your a disgrace Lucian sleeping on duty again anything could have happened" Lucian sighed "nothing ever happens its boring" he replied yawning, The other guard clenched his fist but soon calmed himself down "i knew it was a bad idea signing up younger people", Lucian laughed "well then go complain to the queen about me and yet again she'll remind you that i was the best one they could sign up" a bell goes off in the distance "finally shift change see ya Ted" Lucian said walking off toward's the castle doors noticing an odd looking bird but thought nothing of it as he stands outside the doors he breathes in slowly *first time inside here goes* he pushed open the door walking in holding his sword and straighting his helmet.

Aster was deeply ashamed of himself. He usually took things like this too personally, as such, Aster bowed to the queen, to convey his feelings of apology. "A thounsand pardons, m'lady! I'll personally see to it again!" The knight only peaked up to look upon the queen's face, and then saw her pleasent expression.

Aster was then releved. His mistress was a kind one indeed. "Thank you, m'lady." he responded. Aster took the young princess by the hand, and saluted the queen by striking his (fingerless) gloved hand to his semi-armored chest.

Aster then turned to the girl, and asked, "Well, Miss Sky, what would you like to play?"

[Ellie]

"Ha! Aster your silly! We cant play now!", Sky said grinning from ear to ear. "Right Momma?"

"Thats true.", Skys mother said softly. "However it wouldbe plesant if Aster would accompany us into town today. Another guard was assigned, but I declined sice Sky is so fond of you."

Lucian walked forward his armor rattled as he walked he looked around abit confused on where to go *i should have read the map i got given* he thought to himself he walked thew anouther set of doors but ended up in the kitchen "dammit man" he said silently to himself he turned round and walked back out he looked up thinking *better try the next door* he thought walking up to it as he walks thew seeing the queen, a little girl and a knight, his armor rattled louder as he rushed over he bowed to the queen "your majesty i am deepy sorry for my lateness" he said still bowing he was blushing under his helmet lucky noone could see this.

[Ellie]

"Lucian. There you are. Ive been looking for you.", the queen said plesantly. "I was wondering if youd accompany us to town today to?", she asked just as plesantly. She always seemed happy. Sky looked wide eyed at Lucian she had never talked to him before. She hid behind her mother.

Before the door shut all the way, Serena flew in by the crack. Then she shapeshifted into a mouse. She followed Lucian all the way to the queen and princess Sky with another guard Aster. She was fond of these people. Serena stood quietly behind Sky, hiding behind her shoe. She didn't want to get caught.

The truth was, Serena Kolt was lost. She was driven out of her home planet called Rayola, the land of the shapeshifters. She hasn't seen her family ever since the fateful day warriors came to her planet to destroy her people. Serena didn't see much of the war so doesn't know that war happened, but her parents got her to a safe place and somehow got to planet Avion. Serena listened into their conversation on any information of her home planet.

[Atticus]

Lucian slowly raised his head to look in the eyes of the queen *well dad im making you proud* he thought to himself as he breathed out nervously "i...i would be honoured to your majesty" he said stuttering his words abit *i can't belive it* he thought closing his eyes and shaking slightly as he trys to calm himself down.

[Miss Gates]

Serena crawled carefully around to Lucian, trying not to startle anyone. People were afraid of mice, but Serena learned as a child to respect all creatures of nature. Serena transformed into a spider and hid very carefully by Lucian's shoe, trying to camoflauge with her surroundings.

[Ellie]

"Excelent! I think we're well prepared to go out then.", the Queen said plesantly. She started to walk forward, but stopped abruptly. "Aster and Lucian. I need both of you to accompany the Princess at ALL times while we are in town. I have two other guards to protect the king and I.", she pausedand turned around very seriously. "Do not let her out of your sight. Things in town...and the people there are not all as they appear. Plots against this planet are stirring about.", she spoke very deeply. Almost as if she were scared. Sky grabbed her mothers dress and the both of them turned and headed out the front doors.

Waiting at the gate was the King. King Light, of Avion. He was a tall proud man whod been changed over the years. Unlike most Kings he did not wear armor, or brilliant robes. Instead he wore a dress shirt that matched his eyes: light purple, and a pair of black dress pants. He did not have a crown on top of his head or any fancy jewlery either. However upon his feet were plain tennis shoes. Which was perhaps the most unusual part?

Behind the king a large there was a large purple and silver boat shaped craft. It hovered off the ground. Leading this odd vehicle were two medium sized creatures. Magnificent looking. At first they appeared to be horses, and yet at a second glance they were like lizads. Each had the wings of a bird. (no thier not griffens or anything from harry potter)

"Good morning.", the King said to them all. Sky ran to her father, and he scooped her up into a huge bear hug.

"DADDY!", she squeeked.

Serena scurried over to Sky as fast as her little spider legs would carry her. Then, she crawled up Sky's dress and stood on her shoulder. She wanted to go too. Maybe these people can help.
