[Atticus]

Sigfried stayed sat in the chair slowly nodding off he was tired from all the hard work, he spun the chair slightly and rested his head on his arms on the desk.
Yoshiko patted his "Get some rest Siggy you'll need it" he turned to Momoko "What would you like me to do?".

Kaine walk into his room and sat on the bed looking at a picture of his wife and child as he moves the ring inbetween his fingers "You will be avenged" he said as he place it on the side and lied down on his bed soon enough falling asleep.

[Ellie]

"Well first we need to make a few repairs n upgrades to yours, ad Sigfriends Mecha...", Momoka said trailing off as they left the room.

Lola left the room walking fast to the Mecha garage. Defensive Mecha were already being launched. Several groups were on border patrol. Plasma, and laser cannons were being set up all over the base.

The dawn of battle was approaching things were getting tense

[Atticus]

Sigfried suddenly woke up and looked around the room "just a bad dream" he said quietly to himself "man im so restless, i want to get this over with" he said closing his eyes to try and sleep again.

[Ellie]

It was nearly morning now. The sun ws just peeking up over the sandy mountians surrounding the military base. Over the night no one in the base slept easy. Cargo ships were loaded up with supplies, ammunition, Mecha, and hundreds of workers. Some of the ships had already launched.

Scout units had already been mobilized, and deployed. Reports of Rebel activity were flowing in all morning. Mission Control was having a field day.

Momoka had just sat down with a cup of coffee at her desk in the lab when the intercom rang. "Miss Momoka. Youre needed in Hanger 3."

Momoka sighed, "Yoshiko? Are Linx and Luthars Mecha finished yet? Hanger 3 where yours and SigfriedsMecha are. My guess is the upgrades are finished. Theyre calling for me."

[Atticus]

Yoshiko just closed a panel on Linx's Mecha as he nods at some of the guys below "Linx's and Luthers mecha's are done, they have added a booster in for extra duration as a bonus and for free" he said smiling "No need to come down here, finsh your break first" he said polightly.

[Ellie]

Momoka smiled. "Better be doin it for free. This is our dream team theyre workin on.", she paused and looked at her coffee. "No time for a break. We gotta get to this. Batrtle begins in 6 hours."

She walked out of her office, and looked up at Yoshiko. "Lets go check your Mech. If anything needs to be fixed or addeed we're going to need to do that now."

[Atticus]

"You never listen do you" he said laughing abit "Erm yeah we better had do" he slid down the ladder landing on the floor and walked towards his Mecha "I think we need to add something to make it jet boost to the side quicker and maybe a plasma cannon" he said nodding.

[Ellie]

"Alright we better get on it. Yours and Sig's are the last ones we're working on.", She muttered with a yawn. "I havent Sigfried all night? How do you think hes doing?", she asked as they got onto the elevator.

In the background they could hear more Mecha being launched. Nearly half the base had been deployed already.

Linx sat down on a bench outside of the Military Base. There were plenty of things she could have been doing at that point. Things she needed to be doing. Howeve she was way to psyched about the upcoming battle. She sook with adrenellin.

She looked up at the sky with a twisted look on her face.

The doors next to her opened. Luthar stood there with a worried look on his face. "If you keep your mouth open like that someones going to walk by and report you to the Psych Ward for the Clinically Insane."

"Oh shut it. What do you know!?", Linx snapped.

[Atticus]

Yoshiko stroked his chin "He's more than likely asleep where we left him, he seemed very tired, he'll leave the Mecha to me, i know what the kid likes as im sure you do now too" he said with abit of a yawn.

Sigfriend woke up with a sudden jolt as if he had been electrofried and looked around the room seeing a cup of coffee in front of him "Who..." he looked really confused he grabbed hold of the cup and sniff it "Seems fine" he slowly drank abit and waited a little while before getting up and going for a walk with his coffee "wonder what everyones doing..."

[Ellie]

"Im sure I do, but Ill leave it up to you. Kind of a father son gesture.", Momoka said. The elevator stopped at hanger 5. The stepped off.

"Ma'am!", one of the Soldiers said. A lab tech. was behind him.

"At ease.", she said. She looked at the lab tech. "What is it?"

"The Xepher. Ma'am. We've lost all connection with it. Its completely dissapeared off of our charts. Earlier as you know we were getting a signal from, the core of it. The dtrange one."

"Yes I know which on your talking about. The one that sounds like a heartbeat", Momoka answered.

"Its gone.", the lab tech. said. He had a frightened expression on his face.

Momokas face went from shock, to worry, to anger, to serious. Sheturned to Yoshiko. "DO NOT tell Sigfried about this.", Momoka said in all seriousness. "Yoshiko check on your Mecha, and tell them what you want donewith Sigfrieds. Ill be right over here by The Xephers computer if you need me."

"A lot more than you. Apparently.", Luthar laughed.

Linx bit her lip."Shut up Luthar."

Luthar sat down next to her. "Shouldnt you be getting ready?"

"Shouldnt you?", she snapped.

"Touche.", he laughed again.

[Atticus]

Yoshiko nodded "Ofcause Momoko" he said no sooner rushing of towards their Mecha's when he arrived he point to the group of techheads near them "Alright listen up i want you to fit mine and Sigfrieds Mecha's with jet boosters and equip the Forgotten 6 with a plasma cannon" they all scatted off to do the work.

Sigfried came to the outside as he put an arm over his eyes abit to adjust to the sunlight as he takes a sip of his coffee "what a waste of a day for a fight" he said quietly before sitting down on whatever grass was left and going thew some thoughts.

[Ellie]

Momoka turned to the computer and began searching through files with great speed. The lab tech was right. The only signal they had of The Xepher was GONE.

Linx got up. "Why do you enjoy bothering me? You are the ONLY one in this entire base who bothers to talk to me on a personal level. I hate it."

Luthar looked up at her, "Linx..you dont get it do you?" She looked at him with angry eyes. "Youve been my partner since school. We've always been paired together. We make the perfect team. We always have."

"Dont get all soft--", she started to say but was cut off by Luthars lips. He kissed her with everything he had. Linx tried to push him away. But her had her by the waist. She stopped resisting and let her arms fall limp at her sides. She closed her eyes.

A moment passed and Luthar stopped, "This battle is important. Its going to be like nothing we've ever faced before. I might not come back." The doors opened and he walked inside leaving Linx standing there.

[Atticus]

Yoshiko was working non-stop "Momoko we're half way done, how's everything on your side?" he said worried for the Xepher and hoping it doesn't unsettle Sigfried at a moment like this.

Sigfried put the cup down at the side of him as he lay'd down on the grass thinking of when he first saw Emi at the Graveyard and the when he first arrived at the base he could tell at first she hated every pilots guts, he smiled at the thought.

[Ellie]

"The Xephers gone...", Momoka muttered.

Emi faded into black. It wqas as if some outside force was weighing heavily down onto her mind. She was surrounded by the black. It consumed her. Everymemory she had seemed to escape her grasp. Something had happened to her. What was it?

In her mind shecould see it perfectly. Thereshe was stairing at the two mysterious grave stones. She had no idea whos they wereat the time. She felt attached to them. She visited them every year on the same date. Not knowing why. No she knew they were her parents.

Millied face flashed through her head.

And there he was. A boy dressed in a Military Pilots School Uniform. His smiling face. Sigfried. Was that his name? It seemed so firmiluar, so warm,and so close.

A pulse ran through Emis head."SIGFRIED!!!", she called out into the nothing.

She opened her eyes. She looked around. Someone had her hand. "Get off of me.", she breathed.

Kals head shot up. "Youre awake?"

"What the hell do you think?", she snapped. "Why am I here? The last thing I remeber I was flying a Solo Recon Mission."

Kal looked confused for a moment. Then her realized it was the brainwashing. Lola was right. Her memories were altered. "It...", he was cut off as the door opened.

"It was that military dog: Sigfried. The son of the one who killed your parents.", Lola said shaply.

"Bastard.", Emi said. "Get me suited up ! Ill take him down !", she said with rage.

"First you might want to removeyour bandages, and fix your appearence. You look ridicilous.", Lola laughed in her high pitched tone. "Kal go get suited up. Emi will meet you in Mecha Garage 1."

[Atticus]

Yoshiko stopped for a second "That..... isn't good...... what should we say to Sigfried?" he said as he now continues his work "i don't think we should tell him, he'll try and find it" he said with a worried tone.

Sigfrieds cup next to him cracked slightly as he looked at it kinda confused "Why...hmmm" he stood up and streched look up to the sky "It's coming close, i better get ready" he picked the cup up and started to walk indoors.
