Back Again

[Miss Gates]

Samantha sat down at the table with her sister Sari. It had been such a long time since she saw everyone. She sent out a huge invititaion, inviting over a hundred people or so. She fidgeted with her fingers. Sari shook her head as she looked at her friend Samantha. She looked beautiful in her plain black dress that was strapless and her brown hair dangled down, tickling her shoulders.
Sari was wearing a brilliant blue dress that intensified the color of her long red hair. Her eyes were bright green and her hair was pulled up half way and there were white flowers in her hair. She looked like a princess. Samantha looked like a gorgeous warrior. She turned to her and smiled. Then she nudged her playfully.

"Will you stop fidgeting?" she asked. "People will come and you look gorgeous."

Samantha smiled grimly. "Thank you Sari," she said. "But how can you be so sure? I haven't seen a lot of people in long time. What if they don't like the slayer?"

Sari chuckled. "Sam please," she said. "The vampires, demonese, elves, and other creatures know that you have a good heart. Calm down and have fun."

Samantha nodded. "Alright."

[Ellie]

Not to far down the street at a bench in the park, a small boy sat alone in the fog. The bright, cold silver moon hung high above him. It shown through the dark clouds. His shaggy black hair was invisable against the dark, but his brilliant bold green eyes stuck out like emeralds. He curled his knees up to his chest, and wraped his arms aroun them. It was cold, and his black leather jacket was not helping keep him warm tonight. It didnt help that his pants were flods either, or that he had no socks on under his worn skater shoes. He burried his head in his arms, and shivered. He was alone. Alone again. Alone, and hungry. Alone with no place to go.

Something near by made a sharp cracking sound. The boys head bolted up, and he looked around with wide eyes. "It cant be. Not here.", he whispered into the cold air. His voice sounded so fragile. It gave his age away. He was no more than 10.

[Miss Gates]

A 12 year old girl named Tear Riverside was walking across the park towards Samantha's house when she noticed the scared boy that was around her age. Tear had long dirty blonde hair that looked almost white. She had recently dyed it to get rid of her muddy brown color. It flowed past her shoulders and down to her mid-back. Her outfit consisted of layers; a blue shirt that had no sleeves and went up to her mid arm and a two inch tang top underneath it.
She wore ripped up jeans with navy blue tights underneath and a black skirt that was over the jeans. Tear was wearing a long black trench coat and combat boots. She had a little bit of black eye liner on and some blue eye shadow that matched her shirt. Tear carefully strode over to the boy.

"Hey are you alright?" she asked in a soft voice.

Tear knew what it was like to be scared. Her mother was a whitelighter and attacked by a vampire. Tear was 60 % vampire and 40 % whitelighter, but her whitelighter powers only healed other vampires and creatures of the night. The wind slightly blew her hair.

"You look cold." she told the boy and took off her trench coat. "May I?"

She was indicating that was going to drape the coat over his sholders.

[Ellie]

The boy eyed her suspiciously. He wasnt used to people being nice. People normally just ignored him, or ridiculed him. "I'll be alright.", he answered stubbornly. He shivered again. 'It must have been her I heard.', he thought to himself with relief. One of the street light flickered on revealing the girls complete look. She was different, a pretty kind of different. The boy marvled at her. His eyes sparkled in the new light, and a hint of pink touched his paper white skin. "What are you doing here?", he asked.

[Miss Gates]

Tear chuckled. "I could ask the same thing about you," she said. "But I won't pry. My name is Tear and I was on my way to a party. If you want you can come. I'm seeing old friends."

[Ellie]

The boy stared into the distance contemplating her words. "Tear. Thats a sad name.", he answered. "My names Colm. Im supposed to be waiting here for my sister, but its been three days.", he spoke the end of the sentence slower. A tinge of emotion hit his voice. He didnt want to sit alone anymore. "Ill go with you, and Ill just come back here when its over. Shell wait. Im sure of it. I always wait for her.", his voice sounded doubtful.

[Miss Gates]

Tear frowned at the boy as a flood of sadness filled her spirit. Three days? My God the boy must be freezing and starving...I'll stay with him, even after the party. Tear held out her hand.
"Its very nice to meet you Colm," she said with a friendly smile. "And yes my name is sad, but I make the best of life." she paused. "Come on," Tear said holding out her hand. "Let's get you a hot bath, food to fill your stomach, and some clean clothes." she offered with a smile.

[Ellie]

Colm looked at her hand confused, but he took it. He didnt say much. He never did. He did manage to say, "Thank you." As they walked Colm looked up at the sky. The clouds covered the moon now. The only light was from the street lamps. Colm thought about what Tear had said about making the best of life. He didnt understand it. Life for him was never good.

[Miss Gates]

Tear smiled and started to lead the way. Her life was getting much easier. Sure she missed Oz and Mort(old charries from a friend), but things were getting better. She finally understood why she was chosen to be a whitelighter(angel with healing powers) for the vampires and other creatures of the night.

[Ellie]

"Where exactly are we going?", Colm asked. He was starting to get nervous. What is his sister came back while he was gone? What is she worried? Would she even worry?

[Miss Gates]

"That house right there." she pointed at the house that was nearest. "Don't worry," Tear reassured him. "Everything's going to be all right."

[Ellie]

"Kay..", Colm muttered as he followed her up the drive. He was really unsure about this.

[Miss Gates]

(I have to change my post. Sari's looks exactly like Willow except with blue eyes)

Tear smiled and rang the door bell. Samantha got up excitedly and opened the door.

"Tear! Oh my gosh!" she cried with surprise and threw her arms around her. "I was wondering if my invite ever got out to you!"

Tear chuckled and hugged her back. "Great to see you again Sammy."

Sari came up from behind her. "Tear Riverside is that you?" she asked jokingly. "I haven't seen you since you were ten years old! My you've grown!"

Tear smiled and let go of Samantha. "Thank you Sari," she said and then looked down at Colm. "This is my new friend Colm, may he join us? He was waiting outside for his sister, and I didn't want to leave him in the cold weather."

Sari beamed at Colm. "Well aren't you just a cutie!" she gushed. "Of course he can stay!"

Samantha nodded. "Yes he can stay." she smiled. "Come on in."

Tear walked inside the house, still holding Colm's hand. The house was victorian style and was very warm inside. The fire was crackling and the smell of turkey wafted in the air. Tear's mouth watered and she looked at Colm.

"Would you like some food first?" she asked sweetly.

[Atticus]

A man Landed down quite close to the house he had long black hair and deep blues eyes, he was wearing a long black coat with purple lining down the sides, black t-shirt, blues jeans and thick Black boots he smiled slightly *Its been along time* he thought to himself walking towards the door, he knocked three times and waited for them to open the door.

[Miss Gates]

Samantha stopped. "Ope," she said. "I'll go get the door, help yourself." she told Colm and Tear.

Tear nodded as Samantha walked to the door. Samantha opened the door and smiled.

"Hi Psyker!"
