Brendon was shocked and looked at Angel. " We have to go. There going to kill her." he said panicking.

Angel was breathing harder having trouble balancing his emotions too. " Calm down!" she screamed at him. She was thinking. She looked at Felix with frustration and gasped to catch her breath.

[Miss Gates]

"Angel," said Felix. "Just breathe...Breathe...." he told her.

He wanted to help her. He held her close and pressed her against his chest, hoping the sound of his heart beat would calm her down.

Mr. Jankins dangled the knife and threw it at Jennifer's left thigh. Jennifer screamed in pain.

"Oh shut up," Glen snarled. "I had to go through with it, you can deal with that little blade inside you."

Angel screamed and grabbed her leg. She was still connected to Jen and knew she had to keep that connection in order to find her.

Brendon stared at Angel then to Felix. " Carry her, lets go." he said.

Jennifer's pain was twice as bad. She knew she had to keep the connection open, but she didn't want to hurt Angel.

"Angel," she mumbled and tried to stand up.

Mr. Jankins took the knife out of her thigh. "Where are you going Jennifer?" he asked.

He twisted her arm behind her back; Glen just sat there and watched. This was all just a test. To see if she was fit to be in this world. Glen herself had to do that.

Jennifer screamed in pain. "Stop," she yelled. "Please! What are you doing?!"

"This is a test," said Glen.

Jennifer winced. "You're breaking my arm," she panted.

"Fascinating," said Mr. Jankins. "A ghost has bones. We don't have bone..."

He twisted it even more, cracking some bones. Jennifer yelled out in pain.

I have to let go, let go of you, and Angel... Jennifer thought to Brendon.

Felix carried Angel. "Which way?" he asked.

Angel screamed in pain. She tried not to think about it but no one around her was calm which was making it difficult.

Brendon looked at Felix and began walking. " Follow me." Just hold on babe were comin

Mr. Jankins found this very fascinating and dislocated Jennifer's arm. Jennifer screamed.

what about Angel? she thought.

"Who's Angel?" Glen asked.

"My friends," Jennifer said. "My friends know I'm alive..."

"Use your powers," demanded Mr. Jankins. "Use them against me."

"I don't use my powers like that," Jennifer growled.

Glen laughed, "You did on me."

"I wasn't right back there," Jennifer admitted. "But I only use my powers for good, peace..."

Felix ran as fast as his football legs could take him.

Angel screamed her arm was killing her, it hurt like he!!. She closed her eyes keeping them tightly shut and breathing as much as she could

Brendon kept running towards the entrance of the school he looked back at Angel. It hurt him to see her like that but he had to try. She's okay, she's concentrating. Just hold on

Its not fair for her to feel my pain... Jennifer thought.

Mr. Jankins threw her on the table. Jennifer grunted. She felt so weak. She could feel her power building up in her mind.

Mr. Jankins stabbed the knife the middle of her hand. Jennifer screamed in agony. She was being tortured.

Brendon...

Mr. Jankins studied her. "Interesting..." he said. He took the knife out and stabbed his own hand. No pain, nothing.

"Your body acts human...."

Angel screamed again grabbing onto her hand. She looked at Brendon. " Go." she said.

Brendon kept going and broke into a sprint.

Felix clutched her to his chest. "Love? What's wrong?" he asked, running.

Mr. Jankins ran the blade down Jennifer's fingers, opening the skin. He was so fasicinated. He looked at Glen.'

"Go outside and guard the house," he said. "I have a feeling we will have company, and I am not finished."

"Yes sir," said Glen.

" Just...keep...going." Angel instructed just trying to focus as the pain in her hand worsened.

Brendon kept going as fast as he could.

Glen stood in front of the house.

Mr. Jankins held Jennifer down at her stomach with one of his hands. Her arm ached and stung. It was starting to swell. Was she going to die again?

I'm going to Hell, Jennifer thought weakly.

Mr. Jankins ran the knife over her stomach. Jennifer winced and cried in pain. She wanted to yell, but didn't have the strength for it.

Felix did as Angel told him to. He trusted her.

Angel screamed and fainted. But this time she wasn't in that peaceful place. She was where Jen was watching everything like a silent watcher.

Brendon kept going he had to be close he had to.

Jennifer's right hand was bleeding and her left arm was throbbing. Mr. Jankins stabbed her right thigh. Jennifer screamed, which made her throat dry.

Glen looked at Felix, Angel, and then spotted someone she knew...Brendon.

She clenched her fists.

Angel woke up and didn't scream she had controlled the pain she was feeling. She looked at the girl standing in front of the door. " Put me down." She told Felix.

Brendon halted and he glared at Glen
