Senior Year

[Miss Gates]

Finally, the group neared the commons and Jessica Durran tried to look over the crowds for her best friend Shadow.

"Becki !!!"she yelled.

She walked to the vending machines, but didn't find her. Then, she saw her. Jessica Durran smiled with joy as she darted at her friend and lunged at her with a big hug.

"HI !!"she shouted.

"Hey!" Shadow or as every one at school knew her as Becki yelled back while hugging Jessica. "Where were you I was starting to think that you guys were ditching me." She put a sad look on her face and then laughed. "So what are we doing now?"

Jessica Durran let go of her Right Hand Protector with a smile.

"Nothing much, "she said. "Just hanging out with The Slayer, Scalude, and Nanshi."

Raines smiled at Shadow as she came towards her. Raines and Shadow never really mixed well. Especially when Raines started to train Durran. That didn't end up well.

Shadow nodded at Raines. "How are you today?" Shadow felt it was her own personal job to protect Jessica Durran. After all she was a Wiccan and if she had to do some thing she made sure it got done. But most of the time Shadow just messed around. She loves joking with people and most of the time she wouldn't take any thing seriously. "Did you have a fun time last night?

Scalude looked down at the hand that Jessica was holding as he smelt the doughnuts and his stomach growled.

Nanashi sighed and fallowed her friends

Damian watched them all leave 'There's two freaking slayers!' He screamed in his head...then he smelled doughnuts in the comins "Doughnuts!" he said as he ran there.

Jessica Durran smiled at Shadow. She nodded. "Raines and I went last night. Tonight I'll go alone, you wanna come with me ?"

Jessica Raines looked at the clock and then glanced at Scalude. He looked hungry. She pulled out two dollars and handed them to him.

"Go ahead and get something Scalude,"Jessica whispered to him. "And no I won't take the money back. Take it."

Scalude looked at the two dollars and smiled. "Thank you," he whispered to her, then let go of her hand and wandered to the commons.

"Doughnuts...." he muttered.

Jessica Raines smiled at Scalude as he searched for doughnuts. Then turned to Nanashi, Durran, and Shadow.

"Durran here did pretty good last night, she was all over them vampires."she told Shadow.

Scalude finally found where the doughnuts were, and paid. He got himself two doughnuts. Technically, he wouldn't eat doughnuts alot, but he was hungry. He made his way to a wall where he could keep an eye on Jess and the others and eat.

((Autum says to hold on Scalude for a moment because she wants Damien to bump into Scalude at the doughnuts...))

Shadow looked at Jessica and said, "Sure I would love to patrole with you tonight."

Shadow turned to Raines. She smirked and said, "Are you sure you don't want to come Raines ?"

Is not like her and Raines were enemies, but she couldn't help but feel protective over Jessica Durran. When Raines and Shadow first met, things didn't go to well. It was when Raines was called after Sam The Fire Slayer had died and Raines didn't know the definition between souled vampires and stupid vampires. Long story short, Raines tried to kill me...I wasn't very happy. Then, I tried to kill her when Destiny brought Raines back. Jessica Durran met met Shadow in seventh grade and it was in ninth grade when Jessica Durran suddenly became The Vampire Slayer, but Jessica Raines is The Slayer...which pissed me more off.

Scalude looked down at his doughnuts. He still had money, so he decided to go back and get Jess one.

He got off of the wall and headed back to get another doughnut.

damian looked at him and took a bite of his doughnut "hey..."

Jessica Raines remembered the last time that Shadow had invited her to patrol along with the two. She smiled sweetly and said,

"No thanks, Scalude and I have a date tonight..."

((talking in first person as Jessica Durran...))

Richard Durran walked downstairs as he spotted his sister, Raines(the girl he had a crush on, but was already taken), Nanashi, and Shadow. He walked up to them and up to Jessica Raines. He cleared his throat.

"Hey,"he said. "What's up Raines ?"

((Talking in first person))

My eyes grew wide as I saw Rich, my brother, try to make a move on The Slayer.

"Rich !"I cried.

Richard snapped out of it and turned to his sister. He could tell she was heart broken.

"What ?"

"Leave her alone !"I told him and then turned to Shadow.

"Fine,"Richard said. "See you guys later."

With that, the junior walked away when he spotted Scalude.

"Hey,"he said. "What's up man ?"

((Durran))I sighed. "Sorry Raines..."I told her.

Raines nodded at me.
